Charming Condo w/Majestic Mountain Views, 2 Balconies, Shared Hot Tub

Insidemaps Walkthrough

Vacation in style at this Ski Time Square condo in the center of the action! The Steamboat Ski Area is so close you can see the slopes from both of your balconies. Grab your ski gear from the assigned ski locker, then stroll right to the slopes.

Afterwards, head to the complex’s shared indoor/outdoor hot tubs to defrost. Your top-floor corner unit has two comfortable bedrooms with a loft, a gas fireplace, and some of the best mountain views in the house! Want to explore? Enjoy shops and restaurants just minutes away.

INSIDE THE HOUSE

After a day on the mountain, simply use the thermostat to get the gas fireplace going, then gather around the wall-mounted flat-screen TV with DVD player for a movie night. We keep a collection of games and puzzles, too, for kids both big and small.

Glass doors from the living room lead to the first private balcony facing the mountains -- the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee before your outdoor adventures. The second balcony, on the upper floor, enjoys an even better view of the ski area!

Make a group meal in the well-equipped kitchen, complete with all large and small appliances like a dishwasher, coffeemaker, teakettle, and toaster. Eat together at a glass-top dining table with six leather chairs.

Rest easy in the sumptuous master bedroom with a queen bed and a window seat that’s just the place to curl up with a good book. Control your own temperature with a personal thermostat just for the master suite. The master bathroom features a single-sink vanity and shower/tub combo.

The second and third sleeping areas are both up the stairs from the living room. A second bedroom sleeps two in a queen-size sleigh bed and also has its own 31” Vizio TV. Kids will love the loft with two twin beds. These areas share the second bathroom, also with a tub/shower combination.

Street parking and paid lots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

LOCATION

Just across the street from this condo, Steamboat Resort and Ski Area is a prime destination for skiing and snowboarding, offering 165 trails for all levels. But that’s not all this resort offers -- take a mountain tour on a snowmobile or go tubing with the kids. Or for a romantic adventure, try the sleigh ride dinners -- warm up under a blanket and the starry sky while you travel by horse-drawn sleigh to one of three different restaurants at the resort.

During the summer, visitors to the resort can try horseback riding the stunning landscape, relax at nearby hot springs, go hiking or biking, or enjoy a massage at the resort spa.

Location ok in that its 200yds to slope, but parking is inadequate and Vacasa is a disorganized organization who never gave me the code to get my keys among multiple issues
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Peter. We apologize for the issues you had with the access information. We did provide check-in and access information the morning of your arrival through email and it is available on our app, as well. We apologize for the frustrations and inconvenience. We hope we have the chance to impress you in the future.

Pros:
The location is superb. You can sit on either balcony and see the mountain. It's a quick 5 min walk to the base of the mountain. The condo was well stocked with dishes and bakeware.

Cons:
- Check-in process would be difficult to navigate without a car as it is across the base. Also, we were never provided the combo to open the lockbox and no one was physically at the lockbox storage. Due to this we had to have a 15min call with Vacasa to figure out how to open the lockbox.
- While the fireplace was very warm, the fan hasn't been cleaned in some time. After the 2nd day in the condo we felt sick and identified that the fireplace was likely causing the issue. We stopped using the fireplace and our symptoms went away pretty soon after. Would recommend a deep clean of the fireplace fan.
Manager response:
Hi, John! We're so glad you stayed with us and apologize for any difficulties you had with the accommodations. The fireplace is serviced yearly, but we will ask housekeeping to check on it for cleanliness. The lockbox instructions have been updated. Thank you!

This condo was everything as promised. First floor has full bedroom and bathroom. Second floor has open loft with 2 twin beds, full bathroom, and another bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed to making our meals, including spices. Everything was clean and well taken care of. It's located right across from Torian Plum area, and about a 10 minute walk to the transportation center. The lockbox for the building door fob didn’t work at check-in, but fortunately someone was on-staff and able to open the box for us. While we were there, the microwave quit working and the maintenance company promptly replaced it the next day. I would have the rated the condo higher but the furnishings are looking a little tired.

The views are fabulous. The 5th floor end unit is quiet. Condo is well equipped and beds are comfortable. The only concern is that there is only 1 parking space in the garage and no overnight outside parking available. Also, this is not an ADA building, so be aware there are many steps involved to get to the building elevators. It was clean but old, outdated. Beds were comfortable, bedding was warm. Could use a few additional pillows. Towels were clean, soft and in new condition. Bathroom floor mats could use and update or a good washing. The kitchen was stocked well enough to cook all your basics...toast, eggs, boil water for tea. The pans could be updated to nonstick since our eggs stuck no matter how much butter we used. The location is the reason you stay here. Super quick walk down to the village for all your skiing/riding needs, all your dining needs. The gondola and mountain coaster are just about 10 minute walk down from the condo. The views from the condo are gorgeous. You can see the slopes day and night and the sunset over the mountain - all while sipping your coffee or wine. We had a great stay at the Ski Time Square. The location is a quick 5 min walk to the base resort. The Ski locker was convenient for storing ski gear and the hot tubs were perfect for relaxing after a long day. The unit location is on the top floor in the corner and provided us with privacy and great views of the mountain. We came from New Zealand for 10 weeks after a lot of desk research. Ski Time Square is a brilliant location. The condo is older, the parking is odd, but the apartment was warm and friendly and not precious. We loved it. Dated condo, and disjointed management (trouble in communication of parking, where to find garbage, the key etc) - but all in all comfortable space, for a good price, in a great location. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

The place did what we needed as a place to stay relatively close to the ski hill. The fees are outrageous (increased base cost 50%) considering you take out your own trash and we found empty beer cans and cigarettes upon arrival. its ok but we will not be returning to this development. The management company was responsive though which was nice. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

We had a great time staying here. The views from the balcony are quite amazing. The grounds were very pretty and well-maintained. The condo was clean. It was a great layout with two couples staying together.

We had an issue getting our key out of the lockbox and the management was very quick to respond and get us in. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
