Live like a local in this darling, two-bedroom Pacific City home, nestled among trees on a quiet road that’s close to everything while still feeling away from it all. Rise each morning and take a cup of coffee out to your large, private deck, which backs up to a stand of trees. After a relaxing start, head inside to make breakfast and wake the rest of your crew. Once everyone is fed and ready, head out to explore. You're 0.4 miles from Pacific City Beach – stop in at Pelican Brewing on your walk back for a frosty beverage. When you return from a day out exploring, toss your beach clothes in the wash, fire up the wood stove, and get cozy in the living room while you watch a little TV on the flatscreen. The house was above our expectations. Backyard was a 4 year olds paradise. Everything was very clean! We will definitely be booking it again.

This place was clean and easy to stay at. They had everything we needed for a week on the coast.

Size just right for 4 people and a dog. Very private. Clean and comfortable. Wood burning stove made the space nice and warm. Back patio and BBQ worked out great. Deer cruise through the trees out back. Great sand area for the dog to burrow too. Walking to beach is very close. Lots of eating choices too. Pelican Brewery and Grateful Bread were the stand outs.

This was a great place for the money I will try to book it again for another trip

Our group was really comfortable staying at this home and really loved the location. It's located on a quiet street and backs up to trees, so it feels pretty private and the back deck / yard is a nice place to sit and enjoy the weather. We were able to walk about 10 minutes to get to the beach access near Cape Kiwanda and Pelican Brewing. The main bedroom suite was comfortable and spacious. We found the house to be pretty well stocked as we made good use of the kitchen.

Very clean and comfortable. Nice layout. Good location. We felt very much at home.

The place itself is small, but nice. The road leading to the place has huge pot holes so smaller cars should be aware. The floors and counters were dirty, there was broken glass behind one of the toilets and the bathtub had not been cleaned, ew. All of the spices are expired, so you may want to pack your own.
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide your feedback, Nicole. We apologize that the home was not in better condition upon your arrival and regret to hear that this was your experience while staying with us. We strive to provide the best vacation homes and experiences possible and sincerely apologize if this visit did not meet your expectations. We hope for another opportunity to host you again soon, for a much more enjoyable stay

Perfect location for exploring the Three Capes coastline. A tidy and cozy little place within a walk of the Pelican Brewery. Not much of a back yard, but you’ll be out exploring the coast, right? I’m taking of one star for the noisy furnace fan—a noticeable whine in the living/dining area when it’s running, though not noticeable in the bedrooms. Not to be picky but the fridge is loud as well. Be careful driving up the road to the house. It’s privately maintained and filled with ruts, but the driveway up to the house is in great shape and drains well. I’ll be back for a repeat. Recommended.
Richard, we are delighted that you enjoyed so many aspects of this charming Pacific City home and we appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. We will schedule an inspection to check for any unusual sounds coming from the appliances, and we look forward to welcoming you back during your next stay in the area!

Three Capes Cottage was the perfect house for a quiet weekend away. All you see out the windows are trees, the kitchen is well stocked for cooking real meals and the short walk to the beach was especially fun for my dog with all the wild bunnies along the way. We will definitely be coming back!

This place reminded me of my parents home when I was in hhigh-school. I am now 50. Anyhow, that's what made this such a comfortable and homey stay. We loved it. Dont worry mom and dad, we will be coming home soon... yes, that means we will be back. P.s. watch out for bears and raccoons. Keep the garbage cans inside the garage... lol! Not kidding though..
