Comfortable 1 bedroom condo right on lake Whitefish. 1 Queen bed. 2 twin beds.

Being on the lake is 100% the highlight.

Things to consider before booking this unit.
1. Stairs down to unit are extremely steep and narrow.
2. Floor between units is not at all sound proof. You can hear the upstairs neighbors every step and the TV if it’s up loud enough. If you are as lucky as we are, you’ll even hear the housekeeper blast offensive music while cleaning.

Amazing location and setting. We really enjoyed being right on the lake. The furniture/finishes are dated and the couch is super slouchy and needs to be replaced but those are small things that did not affect the quality of our time. The price seemed appropriate for the level of quality with the location/setting being a big bonus. The big downfall of this place is the strong and offensive smell of cigarette smoke. That was a very bad first impression. All else was passable or good for the price.
Manager response:
Hi, Brennan! We are so glad you enjoyed the setting of this home and sincerely apologize for any cigarette odor you smelled. All of our properties are non-smoking, so we will follow-up on this and ensure the smell is addressed. Thank you!

Great location, great town but the place was not real clean. I’ll start off with the positives the view and the lake were beautiful!! The bathroom was clean but they only gave us two towels for five people. After searching found a linen closet unlocked ( not sure if it was suppose to be ) and found 4 more towels.
The kitchen was clean and had plenty of pots, pans dishes etc. Although only two garbage bags for the week.
The bedroom was vacuumed but had stains on two of the three comforters.
The living room carpet had numerous stains on the carpet ( needs to be replaced) and not sure if it was vacuumed from the previous guest. Couple of hair clumps on the rug and under the ottoman was dirt. The couch also had an oder, I could not sit on it.
You can take this review for what it’s worth. I am usually pretty easy going about where we stay but would not stay here again until the carpet and couch are replaced.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Heather, and we're so glad to hear you enjoyed the location and views! We apologize for the cleanliness issues you experienced. Linens and a starter amount of supplies are provided at no extra cost, and we recommend guests in larger groups or staying longer than 3 nights bring extra. The home has been professionally cleaned and we hope to host you again soon!

The location of this place is wonderful! You are right on the water and within easy biking distance of town. The place itself is nothing special. It’s very outdated, the beds and couch are very worn out and there is very limited kitchen pots/pans/utensils to make dinner, but if you are planning to be in the water and not super concerned about the type of the place then it’s worth it.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review! We appreciate your feedback and have notified the local manager of your suggestions. We hope to host you again soon!

I loved the location as it was minutes away from the lovely Whitefish Downtown area and within 30 minutes of Kalispell, MT. The room accommodations were nice, but I could have used more trash bags. One trash bag for six people eating in the accommodations is not enough. I do wish that the pool would have been available at least Thursday through Sunday. However, you do have to take into account that the time frame of late October is not the most traveled time of year. The company has to take into consideration utilities. I loved the game room, and I wish the guest bathrooms would have been available throughout the time that the game room is accessible, as it is the pits to run back and use the restroom at your own unit. The apples from the apple tree were delicious, and seeing the deer and wild turkey roaming the property was awesome as well. The views from the back porch of the mountain side is definitely worth the stay as well. I enjoyed the stove, full fridge, and all the plates and silverware to boot, to make it great for family meals. I definitely plan on using this property again if given the chance.
Manager response:
Hello Benjamin, We apologize that the pool closes after September. We do wish you would have contacted us during your stay so we could have provided you more trash bags. We do hope you will allow us to host you again in the future.

1. Expect the musty lake smell when you walk in.
2. Don’t stay in a “Down” unit. Your ceiling creaks with every step your upstairs neighbors make. It woke me up every single morning.
3. Ants in the kitchen area.
4. No blankets or DVDs. You’ll have to bring your own.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with Vacasa and leaving your review. We have scheduled pest control to handle the ants, housekeeping will check that all blankets are in place, and we do not supply a DVD library. We hope to see you again!

We loooved this place! It was just down the stairs to get to the water and dock access. It had the perfect kitchen so we could cook throughout the weekend and the beds were great!

This condo was perfect for our family of five and dog. We spent most of our time in the lake or on the beach. Though it’s outdated, it’s cozy and we had a wonderful time!

Cute little condo, on the lake, close to town.
David S. Sep 2018
The view and being right on the lake only a few steps away was the highlight

My family of 5 adults used this place as a home-base for visits to Glacier and Whitefish. The place was roomy, well appointed and clean. The bedroom is larger than in the pictures and 4 adults got a good night's sleep. There is pull out couch, but the pull out bed was not comfortable and one adult slept on the actual couch. The bathroom had a great shower. We loved the easy access to the lake and the large deck for sunset viewing. The beach and lake are rocky so water sandals are a must and bring something to float on. It was an easy 10 minutes to Whitefish and less than an hour to Glacier National Park. We were very pleased with our stay.

Amazing location. Lovely view.

Enjoyed our stay at lakefront condo, it was winter so we watched fisherman on the frozen lake. Cozy, well equipped kitchen, nice flat screen TV in living room. Convenient location near downtown restaurants, ice rink, shopping, Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort, and not far from airport or Glacier National Park.
John M. Sep 2017
We have stayed in this building several times. It is convenient to everything in Whitefish. While the units are a little dated, they are clean, comfortable, and have a wonderful view of the lake, and Lion Mountain. We will be back in the future.
Brenna M. Aug 2017
Nice lake front property, definitely older construction, but kept up nicely. AC is nice to have. Great views and easy access to downtown Whitefish as well as Big Mountain.
Phillip H. Aug 2017
Great location right on the lake, bring your kayaks! Many great choices for restaurants close bye. Markus Foods is a great local grocery store just on the other side of the rail line.
Bridget M. Jun 2017
Baypoint is a great place to stay, lovely times on the lake and lots of nice walks and seeing deer walking by........ such a joy on the road! Can't go wrong with the location nested in the trees, a little paradise. We will be back!
