Most everything at the property was as advertized or better. I would stay again. Good layout, location, nice view of lone peak, and comfortable new coach.
(There was one mattress that in need of replacement in my view, along with some pillows...)

Location was perfect for our mountain biking and river rafting adventures. The place was very spacious and comfortable. Only rating it a four as the beds upstairs (didn't stay downstairs) were very uncomfortable. But, hard to please everyone's preference. I'm a firm mattress type of person and these felt like I was sinking down to the floor. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Location was good

Loved this casual and well appointed home. Lots of room for eveyone and a ten minute walk from the town center. The bedrooms are spaced apart, and the living area has plenty of seating. I would certainly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay in Big Sky Montana, The Home on Lone Walker was very comfortable and enjoyable , extremely convenient to all fun activities in Big Sky . Looking forward to planning another fun filled trip to Big Sky . One word of caution do not leaved your car unlocked with food in the car , Yogi bear is smarter than the average bear knows how to open doors and snatch that picnic basket.

The house was decent but I wouldn’t pay that much to stay their again. There were cob webs all over in the house and the shower in one bathroom had not been cleaned as there was used bar soup left in the shower. We couldn’t find a place to put our garbage so it just had to be left in the house. There was also no air conditioning and only one ceiling fan that wasn’t helpful in cooling the house. We had to go out and purchase fans to try and cool it off even after leaving the windows open all night. We did a lot of driving and spent time outside so coming home to a hot house was not pleasant.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Shelby. We apologize if the cleanliness of the home left something to be desired, and we will follow-up with our housekeeping team to see that future cleans are completed to our standards. We would love to host you again in the future.

We really loved staying here. Kitchen is so completely stocked. There are lots of towels. They thought of everything that you could need in a home. It was also super clean. Only disappointment was no tv service, other than that it was wonderful.

We had a wonderful time in Big Sky!! So many fun, happy memories. The home was perfect for our family, very clean, spacious and comfortable. Great location!! Walking distance to restaurants and shops and the golf course. We would love to come back again!

We are a family of 4 (2 teenage boys) that likes active vacations and this was definitely one of our top 3 favorite vacations. Tons of stuff to do and breathtaking surroundings.

Loved the house - was exactly as the pictures indicated. Plenty of room to hang out as a family or enjoy alone time. Room downstairs is a mini apartment and the 3 bathrooms were a definite plus. Everything was up-to-date and extremely clean.
Location was excellent - only a 5 minute walk into Big Sky. Don't expect to see any wildlife out your windows as there is really no yard, but we saw wildlife everyday as we drove to and from our outings. Very centrally located to everything we did - hiking, horseback riding, ATV's, white water rafting, fly fishing. Booked all excursions (except ATV's) through Montana Whitewater and they are excellent to work with.

Worth the trip to Bozeman (just under an hour) for groceries at Wal-mart. The grocery stores in Big Sky are beyond expensive!! Everything was a nearly triple the prices at wal-mart (sometimes more).

Favorite restaurants were the Riverhouse (exceptional smokehouse with great atmosphere) on the Gallatin River and Milkies Pizza & Pub (awesome pizzas, wings and burgers) in Big Sky.

Rickie was our contact person and she was extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. Kitchen is well stocked. Hot tub was a hit. Only real drawback of the house was there is no firepit so no evening fires. We loved having the grill and being able to eat in sometimes. All around great property and definitely one of our favorite family vacations!!

House has a large great room and large bedrooms for all to enjoy.

Perfect location right next to restaurants and shopping as well as the golf course but still super close to Big Sky Resort. We love to cook and the kitchen was very well set up with nice cookware and knives as well as plenty of spices and seasonings. The purified water at the kitchen sink was a nice touch, though the water there tastes great out of the tap.

The main living area was nice and open and the big windows/deck area look directly at Lone Peak. The bedrooms were comfortable and separate from each other so we each had our own space. Nice furniture and clean, white towels and linens rounded out the experience.

The only thing I needed help with was figuring out the heat...took us a little bit to realize the heat is radiant in floor heating along with a gas fireplace. Both are easy to use once you know what’s happening...a simple manual on those would be helpful but certainly not a negative that we didn’t have them.

Beautiful setting with deer out the window and super easy to get in and out of. Highly recommend for an affordable getaway.

We loved our stay in this home! We brought our two dogs along for a long weekend in Big Sky, and the fenced yard was perfect for our pups. All of the trees make it feel very private and we spent at lot of time relaxing on the patio. We also drove to Yellowstone one day, it's a quick and beautiful drive. We will definitely be back!

Clean and comfy

We found this cabin to be located the perfect distance from the Big Sky Resort and Town Center. It was close enough for a short trip into town, but far enough away to feel quiet and secluded. The cabin was very clean, in good condition, and well appointed. Plenty of space for 6 adults. All instructions were clear and easily accessible. The views from the patio were nice and we enjoyed spending mornings and evenings on it. The only very minor issue we had was the outside garbage can was too full to use, but again, that is more an opportunity for improvement than anything else.

I would completely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to enjoy the Big Sky area. Thank you for your hospitality! We hope to visit again.

Best yard yet for dogs, they loved it. Elk walk through lot next door every day.
Mary M. Jun 2018
Beautiful home with a great view of Lone Mountain. Well stocked with all needed essentials. Very convenient to the Big Sky Towne Center...walking distance. I would have rated it 5 stars but not having air conditioning was problematic with all of the construction noise and yard maintenance noise with windows open. We could not sleep past 8 am due to the noise outdoors. Other than that, loved our stay.

We really enjoyed the stay. This house has some really great Mountain View. Very well maintained and decorated interiors.

I will definitely recommend this.

Great location, close to fishing, quiet, and very clean.

This could be a nice house but there are a number of significant disappointments. First, the quality of the mattress in the master bedroom is awful- thin foam rubber that provides no support. The temperature of the spa would never rise above tepid, and the landscaping has gone to tall broadleaf weeds.
Manager response:
We apologize for the maintenance issue with the hot tub. It has since been repaired. We have advised the owner of the comments regarding the mattress and landscaping. At this time, the owners only maintain the front lawn. Thank you!
Laura L. Aug 2017
Great location! Much bigger on the inside than pictured.
