Professionally decorated and updated with all new bedding and mattresses for 2020, the bayfront Sunset Haven truly lives up to its name. This property overlooks the scenic waters of the Back Bay, where the almost indescribable colors of the sunsets must be seen to be appreciated.

Step inside to find modern flooring, an open floor plan, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame panoramic views of the protected coastal lands. The living area has ample seating for family functions, a 37-inch HDTV and DVD player for movie nights, and a selection of games to provide some friendly competition. Looking to stay connected with loved ones back home? A desk is provided, as is free WiFi service.

In the evenings, step out onto the private balcony, watch the sun slowly set into the Back Bay, and marvel at the wildlife that float by on the ocean breeze. At dinnertime, you'll find that the open kitchen - with granite countertops, all the essential appliances, and plenty of cabinet and pantry space - is equipped with everything you need, including a Keurig coffee maker. The butcher block dining table comfortably seats six while the bar-height counter right off the kitchen also serves as a great spot for a quick bite. Each of the two bedrooms is a suite with a TV.

The Sanctuary offers wonderful on-site amenities, including three outdoor pools (open mid-May to mid-September), Viking grills, and two fitness centers. Adjacent to the complex is the 400-foot fishing pier at Little Island Park, which also includes a children’s playground; tennis, pickleball, basketball, and volleyball courts; and enough public parking for the unexpected visitor. Just down the road, you can explore Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, which offers beach access and hiking trails galore.

THINGS TO KNOW

• The community pool is open annually from mid-May to mid-September for guest use. Pool dates are weather permitting and at the Condo Association's discretion.
• The Sanctuary HOA schedules structural upkeep during the off-season, blocking off certain sides of the buildings, making it unsafe for our guests to be on the balcony. The balcony may not be available for guests from October to mid-May.
• The hot tub is closed during the summer months and will also not be available in winter 2023 due to construction.
• There is ongoing construction at the Sanctuary at both A & B Buildings through 2023.
• This property is managed by Vacasa Virginia LLC.

• No pets are allowed at this vacation rental.
