Scenically situated among the lofty evergreens of PlaVada Woodlands, this inviting cabin is the perfect home base for your adventures in and around Soda Springs, Donner Summit, and North Lake Tahoe.

The PlaVada Woodlands community sits just off I-80 near Donner Summit, along the banks of the Yuba River where you can swim and fish all summer. It's an incredible location for recreation in every season, with Royal Gorge Cross Country Ski Resort, Boreal Mountain, Sugar Bowl Resort, the Pacific Crest Trail, and Donner Lake all within a 10-mile drive. Historic downtown Truckee is only 15 miles east as well.

Cap summer days spent hiking, fishing, and mountain biking outside on the spacious front deck. It's a lovely spot for barbecuing on the gas grill, gathering around the fire table, and counting the stars in the spectacular night sky.

On winter days, shed your gear in the ground-floor entryway and make your way upstairs to a great room with towering ceilings, generous windows, and beautiful details of natural wood. Watch movies on DVD, Blu-ray, and streaming services in the warmth of the gas fireplace, get started on a hearty meal in the well-equipped kitchen, and sit down for dinner at the adjacent table.

In addition to the bedrooms on the main floor, there's an open, loft-style sleeping space upstairs. Complimentary WiFi is provided as well.
