The good: This spot is terrific. It's literally across the street from the bay and the view is awesome. It's up one (outdoor) flight, has an outdoor porch facing the water. It has everything you should need. The property is on the line between ptown and truro. There's a shuttle to bring you to/from ptown if you want. You get one parking space right by the condo and can have one guest (in a guest spot) but not for more than 24 hours in the spot. The less good: There are two window ACs, but they only promise "partial." When we got there it was more than 90 degrees and there was one AC in one bedroom, incorrectly installed. We found the other in a closet and installed them both properly but if we hadn't looked, had tools in the car, etc., we would have baked. The beds are horrible. My kid was fine - but adults might want a mattress topper. The hot water runs out fast, which is really surprising in a condo. Plan to spread out showers. The beach across the street is beautiful, but - at low tide it's super-shallow sand bars - really fun for playing in, but you'd have to walk out a thousand feet to get it deep enough to hit your thighs. At high tide, the beach is gone - the tide comes all the way to the (short) staircase to the beach. In between, you can find some more usable times, so watch the tide schedules. If you have kids, low tide is a blast.

Amazing quaint place to stay and fall asleep to the sound of the waves

This place was amazing! Great location and we really loved being able to have access to the beach especially during the heat wave we just had. Plus, easy access to Commercial St so everything was walkable. We parked on the street, which was fine and a little over $30/day. If we wanted more flexibility we could have parked at a lot down the street for about $40/day. It was the perfect little gem of a place that we were looking for. Thanks so much for a lovely stay, this was the best vacation we’ve had in a long time. Hope to come back in the future!

FAQ

Yes, our oceanfront rentals offer direct beach access and are located just steps from the water.

Beach chairs, umbrellas, and other beach gear are often provided at many of our oceanfront vacation rentals. However, they are not a standard amenity across all oceanfront homes. We recommend reading the listing description thoroughly and looking at the home's list of amenities.

Many of our oceanfront vacation homes and condos include a private balcony or deck with stunning ocean views, along with water views from many of the rooms. Although that is not standard among all oceanfront rentals. We recommend looking at all the photos and taking a property’s 3D tour to make sure the property offers the amenities you’d like.

Some oceanfront rentals, especially those located on popular beaches, may include an outdoor shower or designated area to rinse off sand. This is not a standard feature across all rentals, but is more common in properties where guests participate in beach and water activities. We recommend reading the listing description thoroughly and looking at the home's list of amenities.
