I booked this unit in October and chose the pay half now half later option on the website for my 10 day January visit. Soon after I realized Vacasa charged my credit card the full amount and didn't make much of it. Later I realized that this was sign of how they operate. Got to the unit and the electronic door lock code they provided did not work. The main bedroom fan and light were also inoperable. For a unit that has non potable water the supplied my guest and I 6 tiny water bottles which I found very petty considering the nightly fee. I reached out to more than one contact that was provided and was assured the issues and water would be taken care of. I even received a text asking me what time would be best for the water delivery. Later that day Jose the local customer service rep contacted me and said he would take care of everything. I let him know that someone named Isis already responded to my requests. At this point he told me he spoke to her and she said we never had a conversation, to which I sent him a screenshot of her responses.He asked me to take pictures of the switch in question, which there was only 1 in the main bedroom. As for the front door electronic lock, that is self explanatory. By now I knew I booked with the wrong company. I've stayed at other units in the same complex and all issues were always resolved. Even after calling their head office customer service team no one made any effort to resolve the issues. It's ironic because they are constantly preaching about saving energy and keeping the air conditioning at 21C and shutting it off when not in the unit, but they hadn't realized that had the fan been operable we would have used the a/c less. Very disappointed with the unprofessionalism displayed but all customer service members. Will never book with Vacasa again.
