The furnishings are neutral-toned and comfortable, with a sleeper sofa, wood burning fireplace, and a flat screen TV. Come back from a day flying kites on the beach, eat dinner, and then pop in a DVD for a family movie night.
Just around the corner there are shelves that are loaded with games, puzzles, and books galore. There's even a collection of movies to choose from. Spend the afternoon curled up with a good book or spend the evening putting together a puzzle. Help yourself - there will be no dull moments happening here! From here, beach access is only four houses to the north and down a flight of stairs. For those who require easier beach access, just four blocks south there is a handicap accessible cement ramp that takes you right down to the sand, with parking right nearby. You can spend your time hunting for hidden glass floats or just relaxing on a big, striped beach blanket. And if you forget something, it's just a short walk (or drive) back to the house!
On mornings you want breakfast out, local favorite Nelscott Cafe is only a half of a mile away, as is Mexican restaurant La Roca for heavenly fish tacos and classic hole-in-the-wall charm. Just a bit further north on Highway 101 is Blackfish Cafe - one of the best places on the Central Oregon Coast for fresh seafood and plates made with seasonal, local ingredients.
Close attractions include Salishan Resort for golf and spa amenities, Chinook Winds Casino, and the giant Tanger Outlet Mall for finding a great deal. A 30 minute drive south takes you to the Oregon Coast Aquarium and is a great day trip for the whole family.
