So beautiful, we really enjoyed our time at the house.

Our girls trip wouldn’t have been the same if we didn’t stay here. The home is situated in the middle of the redwoods with a to die for view. And just a short drive to town. It was perfect!

Lovely little cabin to stay in. Perfect for two but has room for four although a couple with kids would work perfectly.
Great views and open plan makes this a sweet spot.

Most amazing deck I’ve ever seen. Great view. Clean. Beds comfortable. Very private home. Perfect honeymoon spot. Shower didn’t drain very well and they need another, larger trash can to accommodate 4 adults. Overall this was a lovely home and I thought a good price, all things considered. If you want a relaxing, secluded vacation spot, this is the place!
Cecile, thank you for your feedback. The local manager is having the drain checked and looking into a larger trash can. We appreciate your suggestions. Please visit us again soon!

We recently spent our anniversary weekend there. We had things on our itinerary but that fell to the wayside once we arrived as being there just felt like a breath of fresh air. The view and what feels like seclusion is beautiful and serene. The cabin is adorable and cozy, the furnitures comfortable, and things you may think to bring were already available; ie games, cookware, binoculars for a better view of the ocean. It was amazing and would love to stay there again.

We needed a quiet place to escape busy city lives. The Redwood house was that and so much more. The setting is perfect. The view is amazing. Clearly the house was built by people who understand and celebrate the beauty of nature. We left rested and recharged and dreaming of our return.

I spent about a week in Redwood House for my honeymoon and could not have been more pleased with the experience. The lot surrounding the house is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by redwoods with a view of the ocean on clear days. All neighboring houses are blocked from view by the trees, and even though the house is in a residential neighborhood it feels completely private and secluded. The house is sweet and cozy, with huge windows and skylights which were lovely in the rain and fog when we visited in January. Some reviews mentioned that the kitchen was a little out of date, but I did not have any issues cooking basic meals there. If you are planning to cook a lot or make complicated dishes, you may want to bring some extra supplies from home and be aware there's not as much counter space or room for drying dishes as compared to the kitchens in most American homes.

Great location near the beaches of Mendocino & Sonoma. Gualala has all you'll need. Good supermarkets, friendly people. The cabin was lovely, just know that heat is provided only by wall heaters in bath & kitchen and in main area by a gas fireplace. Can get chilly. Beds were comfortable, nice linens, place was clean & kitchen well furnished. Hot tub was clean and watching the sunrise from the tub was delightful! Good find.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing weekend at the redwood house. The two story windows and the breathtaking views of the trees and the ocean really made our weekend! It was the perfect place to relax and disconnect, and we didn't see a single other person until we ventured into town for dinner one night. The bathroom and kitchen are a little out of date, but the views and huge windows more than make up for that. The fireplace was also an added bonus, making the place feel even cozier. Definitely would recommend and would love to come back.

This is a quiet, serene home. The view was wonderful. A great place to curl up with a good book.

This cabin in the woods was extremely Private, Quiet and Relaxing! It was a perfect long weekend where the epic quietness was welcomed, the grill was used at every meal and the hot tub let us watch shooting stars! I wish the house was a bit more modern in areas like the kitchen and bathroom. The window seat in the living room is everything! Put me in nap mood like no other! So nice! Thanks heaps!

The house is super cozy and our favorite part was the drop down glass windows in the living room. The jacuzzi out on the balcony is also such an awesome place to relax in the woods. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing weekend!

We loved the peace and quiet

The redwood cabin was exactly what we wanted....the floor to ceiling windows, pine trees, piece and quiet and amazing hot tub! Yes, I will admit when we arrived the cabin did have a musty odor but after we settled in, I didn't notice it again. We have a 9 and 12 year old and the cabin was perfect for our family. I do want to stress something I missed when we signed up...the bedroom, loft and bathroom are upstairs. I focused more on the photos and it didn't appear the bedroom was upstairs with it's own deck. There are two markets near by and keep in mind if your heading to Mendocino or Fort Bragg it will be 1 - 1.5 hour drive each way. The whole family can't wait to plan a return visit!

This little cabin in the woods made us feel like we were the only two people on Earth! View of the ocean from every room. A good soak in the hot tub was just what we needed after a day of exploring the beaches. The cabin had a well-stocked kitchen, and we were able to find everything we needed at Surf Market to prepare our meals. We love the North Coast and will definitely come back to this romantic retreat as soon as we can!

We stayed at this house in early November for 4 days. Waking up to the silence, the smell of the trees, and the breathtaking view of the ocean was so nourishing. We had planned on several day trips, but ended up staying "at home" for 2 of our 4-day trip. The location is peaceful and inspiring. It's also not a far drive from other beautiful places, like Mendocino and Sea Ranch. I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for quiet and solitude.

I stayed here for a week at the end of October right after the weather turned from hot to cool. The gas fireplace was very nice but it didn’t heat up the entire house well. I had to get a couple of space heaters from the rental company. The hot tub on the deck was a godsend as I used it to get warm in the chilly mornings. The place is well equipped but could use an updated DVD player as this one couldn’t play several of the DVDs I had rented. Overall, the place is very nice and comfortable. The queen bed was in good shape and had comfortable pillows. I would definitely stay here again.

Great ocean view. The Redwood house has everything we were looking for. Quiet and serene within the beautiful Redwood trees. Excellent retreat from the busy everyday city life.

We loved this house. It had internet and lots of cable channels. No phone though..that was a problem. But you can get a Wifi phone app. The hot tub was great. Beautiful View Would stay at again.

It took us a day or two to finally hear the silence of this beautiful home. Once you can hear the silence, peacefulness washes over you and life is not as complicated as we all think it is. Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us. Everything we needed was right here. Thanks!!

It was yet another lovely and relaxing few days here. This has become a great escape for us. This place is just magical. Thanks for sharing it! We will be back and hopefully soon.

This is our 3rd visit and the image of this place has done nothing but get better, like a rare old wine improving with age. The slightly smokey scent of the house, the view of the redwoods, the smell of the richly damp forest floor- all transport us immediately far beyond the 3 hour drive and the miles we have traveled from the city to a magical secret place that resides not only on this geographical plot but also somewhere deep in our hearts and somewhere anchored in childhood memories of summer in northwoods cabins. Thank you for providing us once again this beautiful sanctuary of the chance to shed for awhile, the cares and tribulations of city life.
