Loved how clean and well stocked the condo was. It was a short walk to the lake and we loved how close it was to hiking trails and a disc golf course. The only inconvenience was not having parking close to the unit, but a small garage was available. We will definitely be back.
This place is amazing! The location is prime, we were here on the 4th I’d July and could see the fireworks from the unit. The unit itself is clean and spacious for 4 adults. Everyone has their own bathroom and the rooms were decent sized. I wish the fans they provided were a little better quality as it was hot and the fans just made loud old sounds. Easy fix! I love how you don’t need to drive anywhere. You have the lake which is 8 minute walk and the Hyatt is only 12 mins away. We would love to come back!
The house was spotless! Loved that there was enough seating, that was comfy, for four adults. Perfect location, quiet, pretty, at back of development. Kitchen well stocked. We barbecued and used oven. All in working order.
The condo is beautiful, clean and spacious. Looks just like the pics!
We had problem using the TV's. Had to have someone walk us through it over phone. Ultimately all tv's were a pain and seemed to work differently. The manager was very helpful but we Felt there should have been an information sheet with how to operate specific items.
Got a great rate on this place for a week of spring skiing and it was perfect for our small family! Condo and amenities were exactly as advertised—I highly recommend checking out the 3D tour on vacasa to get a sense of the place, nothing has changed since those photos were taken. The condo feels well-maintained and clean throughout; no ‘off’ smells or dingy carpets here.
The unit is part of a large, seemingly well-maintained complex of low-rise condos set among trees; this is an end unit with windows overlooking a wooded area that extends into a city park, and we never heard any neighbors while we were home. We did hear and see lots of wildlife—jays, chipmunks, and I even saw a coyote walk past the kitchen window one morning.
The garage was a great perk in winter. Nice to be able to leave our skis on the roof rack and gear in the trunk and not worry about our stuff (or the weather) until the next day.
Diamond Peak ski hill is a 5-minute drive away, and is a fantastic resort for families with kids learning to ski. It’s small by Tahoe standards, but lift tickets are cheap (deals online), the views are amazing, and there’s enough terrain to satisfy even advanced skiers for at least a few days.
Beds were comfortable, showers were hot, everything in the kitchen worked. There were a few minor maintenance issues which I passed on to Vacasa. As others have noted the double-door fridge likes to pop open when the second door is closed. Given that this has caused grief to several renters (someone even left a 1-star review over it!), I kind of wish they’d get the doors adjusted, but as far as ‘cons’ go it’s pretty minor.
It's obvious that the owners designed this unit for their use. From the artwork, the kitchen, the pots/pans/dishes, the furnishings, the lighting - everything was really nice. It seems the first floor was nicely updated. Nice comfy furnishings, updated bathroom, and a very useful mud room/entry.
Very nice home, needs some minor repair/updating.
With beautiful scenery close to ski locations, this townhome is an ideal place to stay for family with kids.
Our stay was really comfortable in this rental but the stocked kitchen made it even more wonderful. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals and we were so close to everything when it was time to go out.
Everything we could possibly need. Perfect location and beautiful home.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at McCloud 137. The unit was very clean and nicely furnished, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the appliances worked well. The location is within walking distance to Incline Beach and Ski Beach. As another reviewer noted, the garage is easier to find than the unit itself. If you stand with your back to the garage, walk straight ahead down the path, and then turn left, the unit is the last one on the left. It is a two-story, end unit. The complex is quiet. A few things to note: (1) Despite the description, this unit is *not* air-conditioned. There is a portable air conditioner in one of the closets in the master bedroom that you have to hook up yourself if you want to use it. We didn’t use it, so I can’t say whether it is enough to cool the entire upstairs or just the master bedroom. We stayed in the unit in mid-July, and the temps were in the low-mid 80’s every day. The housekeepers left the blinds open the day we arrived, and the upstairs got pretty warm. We found that the condo stayed cool enough if we shut the windows and blinds upstairs during the day, and used the fans to cool the bedrooms in the evening. The downstairs never got hot. (2) The unit could really use a few more towels. We were provided with 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels, and 5 washcloths. There wasn’t even an extra hand towel for the downstairs powder room. A couple of extra towels and washcloths would be appreciated. There are no beach towels or beach mats, either. So, if you plan to go to the beach in the summer, you will have to pack your own. (3) There is no iron or ironing board in the unit
We loved our stay at #137 McCloud. The location is perfect! It's an end unit with no other condos behind it, so it is very quiet. It's a short 5 minute walk to Incline Beach and a 5 minute drive to the grocery and several shops, restaurants and other beaches. The kitchen is a cook's delight with a Jenn-Air gas stove, dishwasher and refrigerator and Cuisinart, Kitchen Aid and OXO appliances. The interior is tastefully decorated and we were very pleased at how well the condo was stocked with soap, shampoo, hair dryer, other wonderful amenities and a bottle of wine to welcome us.
We loved this condo! It was spotlessly clean, perfectly appointed and very comfortable. The location is amazing - so close to the beach for Summer and just a short hope to Diamond Peak or the Hyatt. The complex is amazingly maintained (we never walked on an unplowed sidewalk or driveway), and having the car garaged during a major snowstorm was very convenient. We couldn't be more pleased.
The condo was gorgeous other than the heat not working when we got there, the condo itself was beautiful and well stocked. And they compensated us for the lack of heat the first night.
We love staying at Incline Village and this was our first time staying at McCloud 137. Our first impressions were that this was a very nicely situated condo within a very quiet and well maintained complex. It was a little difficult to find as it is at the end of a run of units. We discovered the garage first then the condo. The condo is very well equipped and nicely furnished. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils etc. It was very clean - the only area the cleaners had missed was on top of the armoire in the bedroom. The painted kitchen cabinets are very worn - and need to be re- finished or replaced. The biggest negative to our stay was the tv in the family room was temperamental - it only worked for one day out of 5. There were no instructions on how to use the entertainment system which came with at least 5 different remotes. We would stay here again - as it is very conveniently located and within walking distance of Incline Village's beaches and restaurants.
We had a great stay in Lake Tahoe! It was so nice to have a kitchen and living room to entertain and relax. The bedrooms had ample space. The rents and grounds were well maintained and the garage was a great perk!
Nice quiet location. Everything great quality. We really enjoyed ourselves.
Lovely condo. Very clean and well kept with up to date appliances and everything else you could need while spending a weekend in tahoe.
Everything worked properly, the unit was very clean and property instructions were clearly defined. They even had shampoo, conditioner and hand soap in every bathroom. We slept with the windows open at night and never heard a sound. The unit location is ideal as it sits toward the back of the complex. We will definitely look to rent this unit on future trips to Tahoe. Thanks!
Thank you for a great weekend, great property with a perfect location and nice private beach that was 2 minute walk.
We rented this condo for 4 nights and it was wonderful. We used to own a home in Incline Village and sold it a couple of years ago, so staying in someone else's condo was worrisome. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations.
We planned a work weekend and got to stay in this cute place in Tahoe. Well kept, and a little compact, it had all we needed minus an iron and ironing board. Love the French doors to the patio and nice and quiet. There were some mouse droppings in a few of the drawers, problem with places in the mountains, and parking for a second car was very challenging. But we enjoyed the stay.
Everything great except no toaster.
My family loved this location and proximity to Incline Beach! The house was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was that the washer and dryer were broken, and housecleaning only provided 4 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth for a 6 day stay for 4 guests.
This condo was perfect for a weekend wedding in Incline. The nicest remodel yet and we stay every summer in a different condo. It is nice to see an owner put so much thought into a tasteful decor. I would definitely look for this condo again. I only wish this complex had a pool.
All desired anemities, wonderful location close to beach and Hyatt, quiet complex and cozy interior. High quality appliances and comfortable bedding and furniture. I would highly recommend this rental,
