Cabin was lovely, view was fabulous
Nice Cabin in a nice area, but used the cheapest paper towels, toilet paper. Did not have enough trash bags, no Kleenex, two dishwasher pods, two laundry pods and two dryer sheets, while it advertised that these items would be provided during your stay.
Spacious! Loved the porches. Spent a lot of time on them
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The roads weren't a problem at all (of course, it's summer and dry.) We'd stay again!
The cabin was very nice, although the road leading up to it needs attention
The cabin was clean, well equipped, quiet and within ten minute drive to blue ridge. We fell in love with the scenic beauty. There were plenty of activities for our whole family from hiking to waterfall, shopping in blue ridge to visiting the Bigfoot museum.
Perfect for my yearly retreat to get work done for my upcoming school year. A friend and I do tho every year and seek out a nice place to study, work, and cook! This cabin was perfect and provided all necessary kitchen components as well as places to work and play. I really liked how the cabin was decorated but not crowded with decor so we could put our puzzles and things out without moving other objects. The instructions and arrival/departure were clear and easy, not complicated and demanding. We had zero insect problems inside and everything we wanted for was provided. Loved the two levels and ability to be playing in area while napping in another. Have already looked into booking again. Also, as an aside, as another review said, it seems like you are secluded and in nature, but stores and other places are just 3.1 miles away. A great fall retreat for festivals and apple picking season too!
This was my first trip to the area and renting a cabin. The Hill going up was an eventful moment but once we finally got up the hill it was gorgeous. The cabin is lovely with all the essentials provided. I will definitely rent again.
The road has recently been paved which we believe will help make the trip to the cabin less eventful. Thank you!
Cabin was a good size and would have slept up to 7 adults comfortably. We had 2 adults and 3 older teens. Check-in and check-out was very convenient using the key pad code, so you didn't have to go find a rental office and get keys, etc. The kitchen was modern and well stocked with common cooking items. 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 king downstairs. All bedrooms were good size and beds were comfortable. 3 full baths. Had a very nice game room with a fooseball table, various board and card games, TV's. 2 decks to sit on and the top deck has a great mountain view. We were close to town, but felt like we were out farther when you were sitting on the porch. The cabin was updated and clean with plenty of towels and supplies for 4 days. It was modern but cozy and rustic. We hated to leave. Fully recommend this one. P.S. - Be in low gear and hauling butt to get up the hill. Don't need a 4X4 but need to be moving.
The road leading to the cabin has been paved so it should be a much smoother experience reaching the cabin. We look forward to hearing how it is for our guests now!
My girlfriends and I were very pleased and happy with the cabin. It was very easy to check in and out. The cabin was so nice, very clean and peaceful. We enjoyed every bit of our stay from teh Jacuzzi to the firepit.
We had an amazing time when we stayed at Moonshine Hollow. They were very accommodating. We were fortunate enough to get snowed in a couple days. All I can say it was absolutely spectacular and stunning. They were very concerned about our safety getting down the mountain. They let us checkout late so the ice could melt. The place itself was very cozy and super cute.
Really beautiful, secluded cabin. Very comfortable and spacious. Close to downtown Blue Ridge. We enjoyed our stay. My only advice would be to take the steep hill to get to the cabin in daylight the first time.
The steep hill has been paved, so it should be an easier drive for our guests now. Thanks!
Our stay in Blue Ridge in October this year exceeded our expectations by far. The Cabin was clean and nicely stocked. The management company answered our call and immediately attended to a small issue that we had with the dishwasher within 2 hours. The entire staff was a pleasure to work with from the time that we booked the cabin through check out. There is no doubt in our mind where we will be looking to stay next time we are in town (usually every 6 months). The cabin is really close to town and centrally located to many attractions in the area, but is also secluded with no traffic noise. Just peace and quiet and a beautifully decorated cabin.
It was wonderful. Only thing wrong was the leaves hadn’t changed. But who could predict. Apple festival, down town ellijay and farms were a great experience also.
We were very pleased with our stay at Moonshine Hollow. Just what our family needed.
Cabin was excellent and only a couple of miles from downtown Blue Ridge and in a quiet wooded area. The layout was really nice with the master bedroom, and two other entertainment rooms located downstairs. Worked out great for the kids. Three flat screen TV's conveniently located throughout. Main floor has kitchen and two bedrooms. Three baths total. Large living area and kitchen with all new appliances. Cabin was very clean throughout with all kitchen utensils, gas grill, and outside hot tub. Would suggest bringing drinking water due to high iron content in water. As mentioned in another review, last section of road, about one hundred and fifty feet long, was a little hard to climb due to bumps without accelerating ahead of time.
That bumpy portion of the road has been paved so our guests should have a more enjoyable experience reaching their rental. We are excited for this improvement!
