This home was perfect for us. Beautiful deck overlooking the mountains in the National Park. We spent most of our time on the deck and playing card games at night. Huge kitchen table perfect for a feast and games. Easy to get everywhere. The separate bedrooms and baths worked out perfectly which is why we picked this home. Some wildlife mosied across the backyard. We brought all of our own food and the home had all the appropriate utensils and pans that we needed. Although I did bring my own bundt pan for a special treat that I had planned, and was glad I did. We did have to buy coffee filters, as of 10-6-20 there are 250 filters that we left behind. I think I misread that there was a Keurig. Bring tall trash bags also, we did have those with us however and we did bring what we needed as far as kitchen things i.e. foil, baggies, food containers for leftovers. We loved this location and home. Quiet and beautiful.

My family loved their stay at Deer Mountain Lodge South. It was a great location just off of Hwy 36. A quiet location with a beautiful view of the mountain. We enjoyed having our evening meals on the deck overlooking the mountains. There are stores and restaurants just a couple of minutes down the road. Estes Park and the entrance to The Rocky Mountain National Park are only a couple of miles down the road.

The house had comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms, the kitchen was stocked with many items so it was easy to prepare our meals.

We would definitely stay there again.

We spent Thanksgiving here with our three kids and grandpa and grandma. Fit the 7 of us comfortably. We'd stay again.

This is a beautiful secluded cabin near the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park with spectacular views of Long's Peak and the mountains in the park. It is situated on the aptly named "Deer Mountain" with deer grazing near the cabin all day.
While the cabin is in a secluded location it has easy access to RMNP and the shops and restaurants in Estes Park,

We were there for a celebration of several family events and to go to The Highland Games.

My family is large so we need a lot of room and privacy for each family. This home was PERFECT! Loved the location and serenity. Clean, adorable and fun. Only issue was it was not very well stocked with items such as baggies to store left-overs. Had to run to store before we could store left-overs. Most vacation rentals have some sort of storage containers. Otherwise, we would request this home again!

Loved the views and the house is cozy and well kept, the only thing that it needs is updated living room furniture upstairs.

Everything in the house was just as described, our favorite part was all the elk and deer in the yard each day. The view of the mountains from the deck is amazing.

This is a great place if you're going into RMNP. It's so close to the entrance and easy to find. The wildlife was amazing too. The elk were bugling the whole time we were there. There's plenty of room and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. We'll likely book again!
