Went up North and visited Gualala. La Maison Rose was very private and offered a great getaway from the stresses of life. Other than the gate which we had to open and close every time we went somewhere, perfect!

Loved the house, peacefulness and the grounds were beautiful!

Great place...located so close to the coast, but off the road enough that you don't hear car noise only the sound of the ocean and the birds. The house is surrounded by redwoods and a plethora of mature trees, plants and flowers. We loved all the windows...it made you feel like you were outside. There were two couples and we also enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hikes and hanging on the beach....our dogs loved it too!! The only thing we suggest are comfortable chairs are needed on the deck. And just an fyi, one bedroom has a single and a trundle underneath....they were comfy and with nice blankets and comforters. If you have a chance to stay here you'll love it.

It’s hidden in the woods, with a beautiful garden, well laid out design, amazing indoor soaking tub & very nice outdoor garden hot tub!
The kitchen is also decked out with everything you could need:) *would have 5 stars, though, the bed was a bit small & not very comfortable

The home is very difficult to find but worth the effort. Fully fenced so perfect for families with yiung children or pets. We found it clean and a good floor plan for family gatherings and a large compound with garden and hot tub perfect for the couple that just wants to get away from everything. Not a chefs kitchen but reasonably set up however there were no supplies (sponge, saran wrap, foil, coffee filters...) so bring your own.
