We just returned from a weeks vacation at the Beach Palms (4/16-4/23). It was simply fantastic!!! The condo was exactly as pictured and it was immaculate. It was very spacious and the layout was great. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 teenage boys and there was plenty of room for all of us. We never felt crowded. The view of the beach from the balcony was so pretty, especially at sunset. The twin guest room has a small "Romeo & Juliet" balcony overlooking the pool. Since there is no public beach access in the area, the beach was never crowded. The pool was large and always clean. All three bedrooms were big and the closets in each room were huge walk-ins. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. The blender was a plus! We were thrilled to find 5 beach chairs, 6 beach towels, a beach umbrella, beach toys (sand toys, frisbees, fishing nets, beach ball), and a styrofoam cooler in the hall closet, as these items weren't advertised in the listing. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, a 7-11 and coffee shop within walking distance, and mini golf less than a mile away. However, the area is very low key and quiet. It's not over commercialized like it is further south towards Maderia Beach and further north towards Clearwater Beach. We usually stay in Siesta Key or Marco Island and were afraid Indian Shores wouldn't live up to our expectations. The beach was beach beautiful and the condo was great! We would definitely stay here again!!!
