We loved the open plan living area. The ability to cook and have a cozy fireplace at night was fabulous. It was a perfect place to explore the volcano areas.

We spend 3 wonderful nights here and loved it more than any other spot on the islands. The people in Volcano are the "real" Hawaiians. I would highly recommend staying here!

The house and location were fabulous. Each couple had their own room and bath. The kitchen and living room were perfect for the whole group to get together in.

Room for all of us - grandparents, daughter, son-in-law, and 3 children. "Jungle" views out almost every window, but actually in small neighborhood and just a few minutes'
drive to all the attractions of Volcanoes NP. Heaters did a good job keeping the house cozy. Roofed deck to back two bedrooms kept them private. Spacious, well-equipped kitchen. Vacasa settled us in this house on short notice when another property didn't work out.

3 bedrooms and each with their own full bathroom was great! Kitchen was well stocked with anything you could possible need. They had internet and several streaming options on the living room TV. Very close to Volcano National Park as well as the little strip of restaurants in Volcano Village. There is a bt of a musty smell due to the humidity/moisture. They provide dehumidifiers and I recommend using them to help. All in all, exceeded our expectations and I would recommend it to friends!

We had a great stay here mid November. The house was wonderful. While we only had a couple of days of nice weather it was still an enjoyable trip. A great location to visit Volcano National park and also take day trips to beaches near Hilo, botanical gardens and waterfalls.

What a great place. The location is PERFECT for popping in and out of VNP. The house itself is so spacious and we were so comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped too and you could not see your neighbors at all. My only reason I would give it a four rather than a five was because it needed a deeper clean. I have high standards but there were a few cob webs in the bathroom windows and I provided feedback that they needed to take a scrub brush to the shower grout. I had a great exchange with the property manager on those points and feel they were right on it for the next guest. Another important point for future tenants is to get the dehumidifiers turned on in the bedrooms when you arrive. We did not discover these until our last day and they made a big difference in the atmosphere and air quality. The place is really a five in my opinion with these minor cleaning details and I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends

We loved the home. It has a great area for people to congregate and discuss "stuff". The beds were comfortable. It was also very convenient for each group to have their own bathroom. I would stay again.

This is a beautiful place to stay tucked quietly in the jungle. It has very comfortable rooms and the main kitchen living room area is great for group meals and gathering together. Just a short drive to the Volcanoes National Park and Hilo is not too far away. Would definitely recommend for a family or group.

We loved staying in this beautiful house, supplied with all the amenities we could possibly need for our family that loves to cook. The back bedrooms worked great for extended family, and the layout is perfect. The house is much newer than other homes we've stayed in in the Volcano area, and so close to the park that we took the kids over in their pajamas one night to stargaze and see the glowing caldera. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
