In a year of questioning travel, our family came to Estes for a break. It was a quiet place but also close to everything we needed. Everything was thoroughly cleaned for our visit and is was wonderful to be able to bring our dogs as well.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! Good size for my husband and me. Hugh, fenced yard provided many hours of ball time for our dog. Excellent, walkable neighborhood close to town and Rocky Mountain National Park. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice house with a great location minutes from downtown Estes Park. Perfect house for those that have a dog. Large fenced in yard and kennels downstairs. We had elk run through the back yard one evening. Place has everything all you need is your food.

This property had lots of space for dogs, though I didn’t bring any. The house has a large kitchen and dining room, love the electric fireplace.
-getting the pellet grill to work was a chore and ate up a lot of our vacation time
-no meat thermometer (so we added one to the collection)
-outdated wall decor
-no umbrella for the outside table (it's very sunny in the morning)

This is a cozy 2 bedroom house with a huge kitchen. Set on a 1 acre (?) lot full of pine trees, elks hop in and out of the back yard. Conveniently close to the center of town and Safeway. The yummy Twin Owls restaurant is about a 5 minute walk. That said, this house is in a very quiet residential neighborhood.
The second bathroom is on the lower level and there are no couches or chairs there. This is a good house for dogs - 2 large crates/cages, metal bowls, pet treats and large fenced yard.
We chose it because my two parents, with mobility issues, needed accommodations with everything on one level. We did have to borrow equipment from the lending closet and there are no grab bars for the shower or by the toilet. That probably won't bother most people.
Amazingly well equipped kitchen! Large table in kitchen plus another very large dining table in the main room.
TV channel selection pretty limited. Cell phone service within the house was pretty poor (Verizon) but worked well on driveway. Wifi/internet was fast and worked great.
Towels, sheets, etc were nice, fresh, very new. Toiletries were limited; bring your own. Lots of fans and space heaters and extra pillows and blankets in the closets. Full size washer and dryer & soap were ready in the basement.

Very nice, accommodating VRBO. It was tucked into the trees, for privacy, yet in a neighborhood. It gave you a definate feel for the mountains and the wildlife in the area. A very clean, well-kept home stocked with everything you needed to cook with. Sleeping beds were good. Linens, comforters, towels, etc were new and fresh. A place you could make yourself feel at home in after a long day in the mountains or Estes Park.
The only drawback was no AC. With the August high humidity and temperatures in the upper 80's it would be very warm in the late afternoon and into the evening. However, windows could be opened to offer the cooler evening air. Fans were available to move the air but they were not overly cooling in a home of this size.
