This lovely home has easy access to the lake and West Yellowstone. It is clean and ideally stocked with all the items you need to relax and unwind overlooking lovely Hebgen Lake. We had a pontoon boat and cooked in and also went to "The Happy Hour" on what was a relaxing and fun girls trip. The bedrooms are good sized and living areas ideal. We would go back anytime.

Our family of 4 (mom, dad, and 2 teenage sons) stayed in this home mid August and had a wonderful time exploring Yellowstone National Park. This home is very comfortable with visually beautiful surroundings. Quite stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. Although this home is on the lake, you can not see the lake due to the heavy trees and vegetation. This however, does not diminish its beauty. There is a path from backyard that leads to the lake.
This home met all our needs being away from home. It is a very open and spacious floorpan with plenty areas to store all your things. The furniture is very comfortable as well. I cooked plenty meals and found everything I needed. Everything was is great shape except for the carpet in one of the bedrooms (with king bed). Also, make note that they converted the Master bedroom with attached bathroom into a guest bedroom with 2 double beds. Not a big deal but this left my husband and I sharing a smaller bathroom off the hallway with one of our sons who slept in the other guest bedroom. Not a big deal as I mentioned, but a bit awkward.
This home is very conveniently located to Yellowstone National Park and also the town of West Yellowstone (about 15 min). It is a very charming town with lots of cute shops to explore and restaurants to eat at. It also has 2 small grocery stores that we visited often and found what we needed.
My review would not be complete without mentioning the fly and mosquito problem when going outdoors. We chose this house because of the proximity to the lake. Our sons love to fish and we thought it would be most perfect location for them. We envisioned nights out my the lake fishing and sitting by the fire having a glass of wine..........this did not happen :(. We were incredibly disappointed but found a way to make the best of the situation which meant family movie night each night! We could not go outdoors AT ALL without being swarmed by flies and mosquitos (thousands of them)......they literally attacked us even though we saturated our bodies in bug spray. Even unpacking the car after each day was a challenge. At first, we thought we'd power through it but no, it is too uncomfortable. I dismissed the reviews that mentioned mosquitos but I wish I hadn't. Perhaps it was the time of year but locals did say this area is particularly bad.

We are boaters and had a wonderful time on Hebgen lake. The Rainbow Point Sabo Cabin was perfect for our family. Everything we needed was provided. This cabin does have a boat doc but we didn't use it due to the shallowness of the water. But the public launch at the Rainbow Point campground is just around the corner so it is very convenient. The cabin is near stagnant water so you have to be prepared for the mosquitos. Once you accept that challenge, you'll have a great time. Once you're out on the lake the mosquitos are no longer an issue.

Lovely Cabin! Right next to the shore of the lake in summertime. Highly recommend going there!

We love winter. West Yellowstone is all about winter. Big time snow here. This cabin literally sits about 6 miles off the highway. It is totally secluded. Peaceful. Beautiful. The only noise at this location was from the ravens. We loved it here. I would honestly like to buy this home. Location is incredible. Views are incredible if you can get lucky enough in the winter for the cloud cover to break. The house had all we needed or wanted. It was very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the couches looking out the beautiful window taking in the views and watched it snow as well. It was the perfect get away. Thank you!!!

The house is not too far from West Yellowstone, allowing us relative quick access to the park. We loved the quiet seclusion, and the view is gorgeous! We had plenty of room to lounge, cook, eat, and sleep. The house is well-equipped, and it was warm (-9, a new West Yellowstone record on one of our days). Glad the visitors before us had left a bit of wood. We bought a bundle on one of our grocery store runs. For visitors coming in the winter, be sure you have a supply, as well as kindling, because having a fire in that setting is icing on the cake. We had sunny skies for 3 days, then 6 inches of snow. For us Georgians, it was all we could have asked for.

We rented for my husbands 40th birthday celebration. House was in quiet area next to lake with docking point right off lawn. There is a nice fire pit and adequate outdoor furniture to enjoy.
Downside: mosquitos are absolutely unreal. We brought some tempo after first night but the sprinklers come on every single evening which was counter productive for both the spray and evening fire pit enjoyment.
Again, MOSQUITOS are a huge problem. We went through (3) cans of spray in the first evening. They resemble a gray swarming cloud that surrounds you. It sounds like you are under high voltage power lines from their constant hum.
There is no broom on site. This was bothersome for us as we prefer to clean up after ourselves as needed.
Sarah, we are so happy to hear you enjoyed the home! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback regarding the mosquitos. We will be sure to pass your suggestions about the broom as well along to our local manager for consideration. We look forward to hosting you again!

We just loved this cabin. Great spot, it's quiet and out of the way, which is what we were looking for. Very nice and well kept.

This was our second stay at this property; the first one was 3 years ago. The house and lake access was wonderful. Beautiful view from the main room; quiet and so relaxing! We were able to use the slip for our small boat and kayaks since it's been a wet winter/spring. Otherwise, there's a boat dock within a few minute drive. Groundskeeper was very friendly; the house was clean; and it had most of what we needed for the week. However, the house needs significant maintenance, including broken washer and replacing the mattresses.

Our family of 7 fit well. Close to Yellowstone where we were vacationing. Lots of room in kitchen & dinning to prepare and enjoy meals together. Very close to lake, but not right on the water. We skipped hanging outside due to mosquitoes.
