Lovely oceanfront cottage w/ deck and panoramic views!

You'll love this quiet, charming, oceanfront, restored 1920s cottage with updates on a private dirt road. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sea. You'll wake up each morning greeted by exceptional views of Cape Cod Bay, and possibly seals sunbathing on the nearby rocks. The private beach is accessible via stone steps next door, and a short walk on a country road brings you to two conservation beaches for walking and swimming. You may also escape to Cape Cod (the bridge is five miles down the road) or head up to historic Plymouth for the day.

What’s nearby:
If you're a fan of early American history, Plymouth is the perfect getaway! First settled in 1620, Plymouth is celebrating its 400th anniversary in 2020, with special events and celebrations. You can see how the Pilgrims lived by visiting Plimoth Plantation, a replica village of the first settlement. Don’t forget Plymouth Rock and the replica of the Mayflower soon to be returning. Situated in Pilgrim Memorial State Park, the rock is believed to be the spot where the Pilgrims first stepped foot on American soil. A ship- and rope-building mecca in the 19th century, Plymouth today boasts myriad historical sites, colonial architecture, shopping venues, and over 400 restaurants. The cottage is also five miles from the Sagamore Bridge, so you can also enjoy Cape Cod's beaches, quaint seaside villages, and wonderful seaside restaurants.

This home was so charming and right on the water with views that will not disappoint! Property was very clean and well cared for. We spent one day at Ellisville Park which was minutes away and second day took a short 25 minute drive to sightseeing spots, great restaurants, and Mayflower Brewing in Plymouth. Sleeping to the sound of the water was so peaceful and it was fun waking up to see seals on the rocks near by. Will look to book again and would recommend to a friend.

Location was great. Cottage was quaint and quite nice. Very small bathrooms were unfortunate but comes with the territory of a cottage. Plenty of room.

Very private. Perfect view.
Just need a coffee maker.
There was a keurig machine but no keurig coffee capsules..
Should let people arriving that they need to provide their own keurig coffee capsules.

The house is a classic Cape house and right on the water. It is lovely, comfortable, and very private. The kitchen is fully equipped except that there is no dishwasher. There are thoughtful touches throughout the house for guests. The house sits directly on the bay, but a storm last year took much of the beach away. There is access to a rock beach through stone stops next door. A sandy beach is a 2 minute drive and a .5 mile walk, Ellisville Harbor State Park. A group of seals live directly in front of the house and are fun to watch and to listen to their eerie singing. There are also lots of chipmunks about, which this Californian found adorable. While the house is in its own world, there is a small shopping center with everything you need just a 5 minute drive. Plymouth is 20-30 minutes away if you want museums and the ferry to Provincetown.
My family can't wait to go back and enjoy this unique vacation home!
