Stunning house with historic charm, modern convenience, great location!
This historic, conveniently located, beautiful Savannah vacation rental is just the place to stay if you want to be within walking distance of downtown's best attractions! With space for four to five guests and all the comforts of home, everyone will love it here.
Located in the Landmark Historic District, this townhouse is within walking distance of most of downtown Savannah's attractions. In fact, you don't even need a car, because you can easily walk to nearby restaurants, shops, parks, and other activities.
This beautiful brick townhome, built in 1854, still maintains its original layout but has been recently remodeled and updated, and features modern comforts. With plenty of antiques and historical art throughout, you can take a stroll through the past without even leaving this gorgeous home.
Enter through the front door and you will find yourself in a formal living room. Have a seat on the sofas and relax, or flip on the TV and watch some cable. With WiFi and a DVD player, you can easily keep busy when you aren't out exploring the town. This home also offers a laundry area and central air conditioning, which you will certainly appreciate if you're here during the warm summertime!
Walk from the living room through the dining room and into the kitchen. This is a compact space, but the kitchen does feature beautiful granite countertops, new appliances, and all the cooking tools the chef in your group may need to prepare delicious meals. However, with so many wonderful restaurants nearby, you may not want to spend too much time cooking here!
On the main level is also a convenient half-bathroom. From the kitchen you can step outside to your private garden courtyard, which is a perfect place to sip some iced tea, admire the greenery, and enjoy life. There's even a gas grill in case you feel like grilling some chicken or cooking up burgers for a casual meal outside.
Back indoors, walk up a set of stairs to reach the second level. This upper floor has a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination that is accessible from the hallway. The first of the bedrooms features two twin-size beds, and the second bedroom has a queen-size bed and two closets where you can store your belongings. All in all, this home will comfortably sleep five guests (four adults maximum, please).
When you're ready to see more of lovely Savannah, set out on foot and explore the tree-lined streets of downtown. You could check out the many parks nearby, walk along the waterfront to the north, and do a little shopping at the boutiques and book stores. This city is surprisingly walkable and compact, so you may not even need a car to explore the top attractions!
Savannah is increasingly known for its trendy restaurants and cafes, so be sure to stop and get a coffee while you're walking around town. If that's not your style, go ahead and try one of the breweries in town, or take the kids to get a milkshake at a nearby ice cream parlor. Within a few blocks of this home you can find all sorts of food options, ranging from pizza to Japanese to German, as well as the many fantastic eateries that feature good-old southern-style cuisine. Whether you want to spend your visit sampling the many restaurants, taking photos of the landmarks, or simply relaxing in your private courtyard, you will love it here!
Come stay at this historic and beautiful Georgia vacation rental and experience a taste of history combined with modern comforts and the fantastic attractions of Savannah!

Great place, great patio, great location!
Beds were comfortable and water pressure in shower was amazing. Stairs kinda sketch though lol. Exactly what you would expect in the area as far as style. Wish it had at least 1 assigned spot for parking.
This historic house was the perfect distance from the busy activities of Savannah. We could walk to all the places we wanted to see and all the things we wanted to do and then come home to enjoy a restful time in the evenings. Loved the little enclosed patio and ambiance.
Had a fabulous time at this quiet end of town. Great walking distance to anywhere! We enjoyed the patio before heading out for the day. Perfect for 4 people. Twin beds were a little worn and sheets did not fit anymore but other then that fabulous!
Location was ideal to downtown. Trolley not to far. Very clean and had all the comforts of home. Quiet location. Parking can be an issue if more than one vehicle.
If you plan to stay and explore Savannah for more than two days, this is great place in a great location. It has all the amenities you need and close to one of the most famous squares, Chippewa, that has a grocery and terrific restaurants. My only complaint, whey it is not 5 stars, is that the water heater is tiny and hot water runs out in every shower - even if you are going as fast as you can.
This house was perfect for a week in Savannah for a family of four. Very clean and well equipped. Within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and a free city shuttle stopped just outside.
I enjoyed the stay very much, but the steep staircase leading up to the 2nd floor bedrooms were very difficult for my elderly aunt to climb.
The location is right on one of the free shuttle routes. We appreciated this when it rained on our walks. The house is nicely decorated and the kitchen well-equipped for cooking and meals. We had good internet and there are laundry facilities off one of the bedrooms.
Lovely home in great location for walking everywhere
It was a charming setting and conveniently located. The one drawback would be that the stairs are narrow and steep. Since all the sleeping is on the second floor, it's something to keep in mind if anyone has issues with stairs.
Location, comfy, clean, live like a Savannah civilan
Good, quiet location. Accommodated a family of 4 very comfortably!
Loved how clean and comfortable this rental was. Great location. We had a great stay and would stay here again.
Our family of 5 absolutely loved our stay off Price St. We absolutely loved the location, and the fact that we didn't have to drive anywhere but the beach. The courtyard was perfect for storing our bikes when we weren't using them, and felt very lucky to have found this spot.
this is a charming, historic house with quirky artwork . I came with two girlfriends and we were pleased with the cleanliness and convenience of the house. We did not have any trouble finding a parking spot and walked everywhere. After a late day of shopping we arrived back at dark and felt very safe on the streets.
Wished we could have stayed longer.
We loved this stay and wish we could have spent more time there. The house was clean and roomy. The old portraits on the walls added to the theme of Old Savannah. Parking was a breeze.
Beautiful house, the courtyard was awesome, as was the location. Loved it!
Very nice house. Can walk anywhere within minutes
House could have been a 10 but moldy shower curtain was a turnoff. Rest of house seemed clean. If bath problem is corrected I would recommend. Nice space. Courtyard would’ve nice in warm weather.
The shower curtain has been taken care of, and we have asked housekeeping to be more mindful of it in the future. Thank you!
We fell in love with Savannah’s historic distric and enjoyed staying in the historic, beautifully decorated house. We had a great time despite of an unexpected snow and icy weather. The house is just right for four people for a few days although we found the kitchen and the bathroom a bit too small. Nevertheless we have enjoyed the great location in the heart of the Historic District and just few minutes away from the river. Everything in walking distance or a free ride away on the local bus.
The Lark is a charming place to call home during a stay in Savannah. This vacation rental felt more like home with its thoughtful touches, tasteful furniture and historical elements of building (place was built in 1854) charmed completely.
Townhome was convenient to everything in historic Savannah - we walked everywhere. We hated to leave.
Thank you Vacasa!
Greg and Caleb
Wonderful place to stay unless you have mobility issues. Big step up to enter the house and steep, narrow stairs can be a challenge. Great location and we felt very safe and secure throughout our visit.
Vacasa rep on phone was nice, helpful, and accurate. Town home had everything you needed. Lovely outdoor garden/sitting area. Location was very good as we parked car and didn't need it for 3 days.
This unit was well appointed and very clean. It was perfect for what we needed and expected in a long weekend in Savannah. Walked to everything as we usually do. Depending on our future sleeping arrangement needs we may be back to Savannah Lark!
The property has a great location and is so charmingly decorated. The kitchen though small was well equipped and totally fit our needs. Even though the parking is on the street, we could always find a spot by the back entrance. Great place to stay!
Tour Savanna the way it was meant to be seen. Park your car for a few days and walk! Lovely house and gated private patio
I would like to stay afew weeks to take it allin
lovely home, excellent linens, perfect location.
Steps are steep, but doable for a healthy person. Creepy people pictures all about, the founding fathers will watch you bathe, lol. But my lil family will return to this location again for trips to Savannah.
We would not change a thing, Everything met and exceded our expectations,
My sister and I enjoyed a lovely “girl trip” to Savannah with our 88 year old mother. The house was lovely, but possibly a little too ‘authentic’. The stairs were particularly steep, some uneven floors, a bumpy patio. Perfectly fine for us youngsters in our sixties, but mom was unable to make it up those treacherous stairs to get to the bedrooms (she does fine on the stairs at her church). She ended up sleeping on the downstairs sofa. Fortunately, there is a half bath on the ground floor, so really wasn’t too big of a deal.
The location was great: close to downtown riverfront, easy parking, near Kroger for groceries. The more quiet neighborhood feel was welcome, and people were friendly and helpful. The free commuter bus for the historic district had a bus stop within the block.
The house is well furnished with everything you need. Just show up, unpack your duds, and enjoy Savannah!
This property is in the perfect location. My Fiance and I stayed with another couple for the weekend while attending a wedding. It was the perfect size for the four of us.
It was a lovely and very clean condo! So many restaurants and shops were within walking distance!
A real home to stay in! Full kitchen, one and half bath, two bedrooms, cable, and washer and dryer! A nice walk to the sights of downtown Savannah. Price was right. I'll be back!
Great property ideally located in historical Savannah and walking distance to all local attractions, shops, restaurants and riverside. Happy to recommend this wonderful holiday home.
This Home is very lovely & historic like Savannah. Parking was no Problem and der area around is nice and close to historic District and the Riverstreet, we did all by a walk. 👍🏻
Great stay. Perfectly appointed and great location. Location was so great that we never even used our car. We would love to stay here again.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit!
We found this place online and really had no idea what to expect. The townhome is right in the middle of everything and so we were able to walk some places and drive a short distance from others. The place is very clean and we felt very safe. The mattresses on the beds need to be replaced but other than that it was great. We definitely would go back.
Awesome place to stay at Savannah
This is a great little house! The family and I loved it. Within walking distance to most of downtown. It wasn't an issue for us, but the stairs are a little steep and slope downwards at the bottom.
This was our first time in Savannah and our family of 5 had the most enjoyable experience in this historic Savannah home. I am so glad that I found this listing and chose to take a chance at staying in a historic home vs. a hotel room. The home was easily found and parking was no problem at all since we arrived on a Monday. We never had to move the car due to being so conveniently situated within walking distance from everything. The home is perfectly decorated with Savannah charm and was extremely comfortable for our nights in front of the t.v. Everything was very clean and in working order as described. This is a perfect condo for storing bikes since there is access to the courtyard from the road. This neighborhood felt very safe and this was very important since we enjoyed Savannah every night and had to walk home with our children in the dark. I must say that even the evenings were magical due to most homes being lit by the gas lamps. We were most impressed with our stay and are already planning a trip next year. This was a great price for the location and charm...Thank you Vacasa!
Beds not so comfy. Overall everything else ok. Parked the car and walked everywhere until we had to leave. Great place to stay with the family.
Very good location, parked the car and walked everywhere, great neighborhood, and pleasant welcoming home!
We stayed at this apartment for a weekend to attend a family wedding. We were not informed a head of time that the outside of the building would be under construction while we were there. We were woken early both Saturday and Sunday mornings to the pounding on the building as they repaired the brickwork. The back patio which looks so lovely in the photos was not passable as it was full of scaffolding, tools, ladders and cement used on the building. Forget enjoying our coffee out there! Sunday the ladders had moved to the front of the building, in front of the bedroom windows while we were trying to dress for the day. My teenage daughter was very uncomfortable dressing even with the curtains drawn with the worker going up and down the ladder. We made our reservations 3 months in advance so they certainly knew we were coming when they scheduled the work, they just didn't bother to tell us but then asked us to pay additional cash should we want to stay past 11am! I won't use this company again
We are extremely sorry this guest had to endure the inconvenience from construction debris and the accompanying noise. The property manager was in constant communication with the contractor leading up to the reservation and assumed they were finished before the guest checked in. However, the contractor returned during the guest's stay. A full refund will be made. Thank you.
This house is inviting, charming, cozy and well furnished. The stairs to the upstairs bedrooms and main bath are very steep but doable. Off the twin bed room is a nice washer and dryer. There is a totally private hedged in patio with table and chairs off the kitchen. Very nice. The neighborhood is quiet - no loud parties in the evenings. We found a thrift store 1 block south (where we bought more hot-weather pants- and a lovely "Bier Garten" pub and restaurant one block north of the residence. Best wienerschnitzel I've every had. The historic district is a walk of only 6-8 blocks, along lovely streets rich with wonderful old houses. We loved Savannah Lark.
Beautiful home. Easy parking. Good location. We enjoyed feeling as though we lived in the historic district. Nice to have a washer and dryer.
Note: it is an old staircase. Narrow and uneven. Not for those with mobility issues.
5 Ladies stayed at this home and we had a blast. There was plenty of room-3 beds and two blow up mattresses made it comfy. It was located close enough to places that we were anywhere in Savannah within few minutes and 25 minutes from Tybee. We would definitely stay here again.
Price point for area very good.
Very clean, quick help if needed and safe area. Cost very reasonable for 3 beds and one and a half baths. Walk to J Christopher's on E. Liberty for breakfast, excellent! Don't miss the Bonaventure Cemetery Tour with Shannon Scott. Old Civil War era cemetery within one block of this location. So much history! Will definitely stay here again when I return to Savannah!
Great house for walking to everything!
Wonderful place to explore downtown Savannah. Very close to shopping, dining, and nightlife. Great Experience!
Savannah Lark is is great location if you plan to walk Savannah. Parking is on street so once we parked our cars, we didn't move for most of our stay. The home itself was very clean and nicely appointed. It was nice to be able to come back in the evening and cook or grill a nice dinner when we came in after a long day of wandering Savannah's parks. Our kids were fascinated by the portraits hung throughout the house. It is certainly furnished to feel like a home not like a hotel room.
Vacasa staff member helped locate lock box and stayed on phone with me until I got inside the property.
We were 2 couples celebrating Thanksiving here. Perfect for our stay. One of the bedrooms only has 2 twins so we had to buy a king bed connector and mattress cover etc, but then it worked great. The pillows are super thin and flimsy...that was a shame but everything else about the place was fantastic....didn't want to leave!
This was a very easy to get to rental. Very comfortable for a mother daughter getaway. Next time I would stay a little closer to the river
Very satisfied with our recent stay at Savannah Lark. Planning to come back again.
The home is in a great location for walking around the historic district. There is not on-site parking, but there is plenty on-street, just pay attention to the signs. Overall, no complaints. 4 of us stayed comfortably here.
We loved the feeling of the apartment and the decor! The beds were very comfortable! We were only there for one night but loved this place! Would stay in again!
I totally recommend Savannah Lark and Vacasa. We especially appreciate that everything was exactly as portrayed online and there were no hidden costs or surprises. Check-in was a breeze and contact information is readily available if needed. The place is clean and very comfortable with everything supplied including a blow dryer and toiletries in the bathroom. It's a great location and very walkable. The stairway is steep and narrow so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with a physical disability. We had an awesome stay and would stay again if we ever return to Savannah.
Everything was within walking distance. Nice sitting area in back. Felt like we were a part of Savannah. Clean.
Nice small place in good location. Several blocks from river street, but can be walked in about 1-15 minutes.
We loved the old-time charm of the property. Very clean!
Lovely home, convenient to the sites, and stocked with all the comforts of home.
Great location, can walk to river front and historic downtown areas.
We are a family of 5, so it can be challenging to find places that accommodate us. This place worked out well, the staff even provided us with a new inflatable mattress for our daughter.
Most everything is about a 10-minute walk. Tybee Island is a short drive away and is a very nice beach.
Within walking distance to many amenities. Clean, efficient- cute historic row house and had everything we needed. Queen mattress/pillows needs replaced, had to sleep on twin beds- glad we brought our own pillows. Plus was a little weird that people were staring at you in every room (old portraits on walls).
I really enjoyed the location of the place; only a couple of cars passing at night even let you know you were in a city. The city was within 5-10 min walk in any direction. Accommodations were clean, secure, and well-appointed. I'd love to use the same location again next time.
Great townhouse......quirky and very Savannah period decor. Narrow stairs but was fine for us. Townhouse has everything you need; patio was super cute!
Loved the location and as always Savannah people are great!!
This location was perfect for parking the vehicle and not driving again until time to leave. Nice walk to all the various locations to visit while in Savannah. Place was extremely clean and there were no loud noises, ect during the night to prevent a good night's sleep. Would definately look for availability on this particular place for any future trips to Savannah.
We had a wonderful stay at this townhome; it was clean and well set up. We appreciated the guest book, and the location was extremely accessible. The decor is somewhat old school and my kids found the artwork to be a bit strange, but overall this was terrific for a family of 3-4.
Clean, quiet and convenient. Wonderfully furnished and a great location.
Highly recommend. Clean and convenient.
We were there for a long weekend for a family wedding. This house was ideal. We were able to walk to the wedding location and also to tour all other sites of interest. Loved waking in the morning and having coffee outside in the private patio!
The Savannah Lark is a small but charming place to stay. It is beautifully decorated, with many nice touches. The kitchen is tiny but very well equipped. The back yard is lovely to spend time in. When we arrived, we parked the car and didn't use it again until we left Savannah. Excellent location. Watch the stairs! They are of uneven heights. An acceptable trade off for the wonderful period feel of the place. We did find the beds too soft.
Well within walking distance of "old" Savannah and its attractions. Interior decorating top notch as is kitchen equipment. All mod cons a plus. Not a space for those with physical disabilities. I'd use the townhouse again and recommend it to friends.
We enjoyed this place very much. It was close to all of the attractions in the historic district. We could walk every where. The place was very clean and and we liked the decorations. We would highly recommend this place to anyone!
Great location. Comfortable.
The house was exactly like the website. Very nicely furnished. Would stay here again.
Wonderful location, comfortable accommodations, historic charm.
Fell in love with Savannah during this trip. The place we stayed was perfect for a less pretentious family.
Charming, well appointed townhouse with everything you need for your stay. Quite location within walk to River Street where you can catch free ferry for view of historic district from the water. Savannah historic district is my favorite place to visit.
Sound proofing is poor. Sounded like someone was walking upstairs and unless it was a ghost it was from the people next door.
It was great having a nice, clean, quiet place to come back to every night. This place really felt like home.
We have been to Savannah multiple times and rented all over the city. This was an exceptional find as it is in a residential area but still very convenient in terms of walking distance to all other attractions. It is in a very quiet area of town which was also a plus. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. It is managed by Vacasa and we found their team quick to respond to any questions prior to our trip and although we did not require any assistance once we arrived, I suspect that they would have been very quick to address any concerns. Our condo had a security deposit and they refunded this money to us on the first business day after our trip. We will definitely stay at this property again and will recommend it to friends.
We stayed here for a girls weekend with 2 of us and were happy with the location, walking distance to everything. The living room was very comfortable and 2 very nice size bedrooms. Nice back courtyard.
The staircase up to the bedrooms is very narrow and steep. We did not have a problem with it, but if you had a large suitcase or were unsteady on your feet it could be an issue.
Fabulous place! Exceeded our expectations. Looking forward to staying here again. Highly recommend
The location was awesome and property was everything promises!
We enjoyed staying in Savannah Lark. The location was great and was within easy walking distance to the shops on River Street and in and around the historic district.
Property has a great location and is very spacious. We loved the outdoor space to drink our morning coffee. The apartment is equipped with everything you may need. The check in and check out process was smooth and easy. We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment and will stay again!
This was about our 10th time visiting Savannah, 4th with our 2 young boys. Savannah Lark was perfect for our family. The house had everything we needed as well as the historic atmosphere we love. The location was perfect and was easy walking distance to great restaurants, Forsythe Park and River Street. We would love to stay here again our next visit to Savannah.
