Let’s start by first saying we arrived a bit earlier than expected an inquired about early check-in. We were told that at this time early check in wasn’t a thing due to COVID and the extraordinary cleaning that is being done for our safety. So when we get in the rental my brother soon discovered the smell of something dead in the kitchen. I guess during the extraordinary clean the occupied mouse trap on the floor by the refrigerator that was in a stay of decomposition that it had to be scraped from the floor. My brother nearly vomited during that clean up procedure (which in my years of vacations was a first).
They also missed the food in the cabinet from the previous guess. Rice also stunk up the cabinet and the leftover bread had an expire date of 3 weeks prior to our stay, so maybe a month? Guess they figured the COVID wouldn’t last on those items after a few weeks anyway?
The rental itself was nice. Kitchen had a nice modern feel, the rest was the typical dated stuff. Leather couches from the 70s and cheap DVD players.
Now let’s talk about some of the rules. The community is no smoking, not just the house, but the community. They even go as far as saying you aren’t even allowed to smoke in your private vehicle... liberals. Also, leave the lights off outside when not in use, it’s a dark sky community... but all the lights were on outside the rental next door the entire week, and it wasn’t occupied...
be sure not to wander on foot anywhere down the drive or off the property or face eviction for trespassing.
I’ve stayed in plenty of rentals with several rental companies. This one was a bit forced as VACASA took 100% of the rental on the day of booking and due to COVID we had a credit that had to be used within a short time. A refund would have been the appropriate thing. At least I may have remained a customer. Not a chance.

We also apologize for any confusion but during COVID we have been very flexible with our policies. Letting guests take credits instead of losing out on funds paid, letting them choose other houses to stay in, among other things. We would have been happy to discuss timelines of using the credit with you as well. We hope to host you in the future.

We had a great family reunion. It is a very spacious and comfortable house with a great view. The kitchen was very equipped for cooking for a large group. We were disappointed in the lack of internet connection. We were there Tuesday-Thursday and only had internet connection for about an hour Tuesday night.

This property is very beautiful with very nice internal design and decoration. The decks are great. The location is perfect - very close to Estes park and Rocky min rain national park entrance. Unfortunately we ran into mice issue on day 1 and day 2. Hope vacasa can fix the pest control issue. We will definitely return to the property if the mouse issue is fixed.

Three levels of porches to listen to the waters of the Big Thompson River, fully stocked kitchen with cutlery, several coffee pots and a griddle made cooking easy. Several king beds and WiFi with a complete stock of family friendly movies. Best part is easy access to area attractions, in town and of course Rocky Mountain National Park.

The cabin is large, roomy and welcoming. Very clean, nicely furnished and decorated. Had a few issues with WiFi and getting a little too warm (Mid-summer temps), but we had a great stay.

This house was the perfect location for our family. Close to RMNP and town. Bedrooms were large and very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking at a mule deer and her fawn! Highly recommend this property.

Our son and grandson came from NJ for a Rocky Mountain High. Our 3 days at this house was the perfect base for hiking in the park. The location could not have been more perfect, the views from the deck were awesome, and the house was spacious for our 3 generations. We would return in a heartbeat
