Nice house with very beautiful views! The ping pong table and hot tub add to the fun. Short drive to market but not really a place with restaurants- I recommend driving to Langley for that (20min). The house heater was not working so it was cold at night even with the fireplace on .They brought a heater to help with the situation thou.
Hello Flavia, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We apologize for the issues with the heat during your stay. We have ordered the part and are working to repair the heat currently. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope we have the chance to host you again!

We opted to do a little trip for the holiday since we couldn't spend it with family this year due to the pandemic. This was such an incredible way to escape the city and enjoy the nature and beauty of Whidbey Island in such a cozy atmosphere.
The home's view from the water and various windows make this such an incredible place to relax. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub every night and the spacious kitchen was well equipped for our needs. Waking up to the sunrise in the loft was a great way to start the day. Our dog loved all of the space to run around and it was really helpful to have a dog run in the front for him to enjoy.
Also have to give so many props to the local manager, Laura, who was very proactive to let us know there would be an issue with HVAC upon our arrival. Even with that not working the Pellet Stove made the whole house warm through our stay and HVAC repair wasn't even needed. The team in Whidbey was very communicative and helpful during our whole stay and we were so happy to see a Christmas Tree in the home as well, which was unexpected.
2020 was a crazy year, but the Christmas experience we had on Whidbey Island in this home was so amazing and is something we will cherish forever. We hope to return to this home again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway any time of the year.

This was a lovely home!
The beds were comfy, the hot tub loved it, soaker tub, loved it, kitchen space, loved it.
Almost killed ourselves on the upstairs bathroom carpeted launch pad, could use a small light light there. The kitchen pots and pans could use updating.
Also, if you're used to City water you might want to bring a few gallons to drink, because Whidbey Island water definitely has a quality to it.....

Loved the house even though it was sparsely decorated. Had a nice little dog run out the front door and the everything worked well. some of the spices on the spice rack were rancid, use at your own risk.
Thank you for your review, Kris. We appreciate your feedback regarding the spices and have made our local staff aware. Our homes typically do not have spices supplied, so we advise our guests to bring any they may need to enjoy their meals. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to host you again in the future!

This was our first time at Whidbey Cedar Sunsets and we really enjoyed out stay. The view of the sound from the deck, family, living and master bedrooms was astounding. The furniture and bed were very comfortable and cozy. The neighborhood was also quiet and friendly. Relatively close access to South Whidbey Park and shops in Freeland was another plus.
If you are a cooking enthusiast, please note only basic kitchen tools and dishware were provided. Due to the pandemic, availability of restaurants for takeout was also limited. Please note it's a short walk to the vicinity of the beach but there didn't seem to be any public access to the shore.
That all aside, we really enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our week in this house. The views from the deck of water and mountains are glorious and the house was perfectly comfortable. The neighborhood is a bit denser than I might have expected but all the neighbors we talked to were very friendly.

Overall the property is well maintained and we enjoyed our stay there. Sitting on the couches and enjoy the beautiful view through the big window made our getaway very relaxing. There are some minor fixes I hope the team can address soon. We found the water coming out the air gap when using dishwasher, potentially there is some clog somewhere. Also occasionally we heard heater make some loud pumping noises.(as someone knocked on the pipe) It didn’t bother me much as I wear ear plug at night but my wife got woken up once because of it
We appreciate you staying with us, Qi! The dishwasher has been repaired. We hope to see you back soon!

After two solid months of 24/7 high-stress work and parenting, I badly needed a solo getaway. This was the perfect home to choose. Aside from being extremely well managed - meaning impeccably clean, well-kept, everything labeled, all necessities provided and house instructions all clear - it boasted an amazing location, view, amenities, deck and hot tub. Loved the wood ceilings and walls. This was the perfect recharge spot for one person without feeling too huge but could also sleep up to the maximum occupancy quite comfortably, thanks to the two full baths. I'd come back in a heartbeat and bring friends/family! Thanks for an amazing experience.

Loved the panoramic views. Wake up to the view. Quiet neigborhood close to cute shops and good eats. Relax in a nice hot tub after shopping all day. Play ping pong with hubby till the sun comes up. Priceless. Highly recomend.

I wouldn't want to stay any other place if I came back to Whidbey. The views, the tub, and the cleanliness of the home where impeccable. We we're able to bring our 2 dog's. There was a nice dog run for them as well. My only regret was not booking my stay longer.

Amazing place to stay! This is a beautiful home in a wonderful location on Whidbey Island. House is very well equipped with necessities. Very clean and well kept. Fantastic view of the Puget Sound. The community is very friendly. We had a wonderful family vacation but didn't want to leave. We will be back! Thank you.

Beautiful, spacious, open house with a 180 degree view of the water and an absolutely stunning sunset view. The house gets a lot of sunlight so it can get a bit warm in the afternoon.
Some cons: the door is a bit tricky to open (malfunction? ), the water doesn't stay warm (for showers and washing the grimes out of the pot), the household supply was low (no dish washing for the dishwasher so I had to go out and buy some). In regarding to the water, I kept having to turn the knob further to the hot side and warm water would come out for a couple sec then it turn cold again. This made me nervous as I was afraid it would suddenly get warm and burn my kids skin.
However, overall it was a great, relaxing stay.
Hello Hongmai, Thank you so much for your review. We have restocked the dishwashing detergent (kept under the sink). Although the hot water heater is brand new, we will have our maintenance tech look at the hot water heater to make sure the temperature is not set too low for future guest use. Please know that the front door is an electronic lock and not everyone may be familiar with how they work. It is not automated, and guests do need to type in the code and turn the knob before the code entry expired. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and we hope to host you again for another relaxing vacation.

Lovely home! Beautiful views, short walk to the beach, clean/spacious home with all the amenities! It was so relaxing to sit on the deck watching amazing sunsets, wildlife, and ships cruising by. We liked it so much, we stayed an extra night:) Would definitely recommend!
