This is probably our 5th or 6th stay at the Captain's House. Our family loves the quirky layout and homey feel. We love to be able to bring our dogs as well!
Location and view is great. House is clean and nice.
The old house is wonderfully quaint with comfy rooms, sunny kitchen, and great views from livingroom, bedrooms, and front porch. It had everything we wanted. Ocean access is a short walk down a trail. Lots to do and see in Bandon. We had a great time.
The view is fantastic and great beach access!
Lots of beds and bathrooms. Access to the beach, although a steep climb back up to the road.
It was a very good location walking distance from the beach. The house was spacious and comfortable for our group. The kids enjoy exploring inside the house. We would love to go back .
You won’t be disappointed with this rental property.
Two families with children stayed comfortably in this house. The house is clean and well cared for. The view is breathtaking.
We’d definitely stay again!
This is a nice house in a great setting perched on a bluff above the beach. It has multiple rooms to accommodate a diverse group of people including a well set up kitchen/ dining room, a library/sitting room, multiple bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with 2 tubs and 2 showers, a living room with an amazing view of the ocean, and other rooms as well. Our business trip involved a group of 5 field biologists over 5 days/ 4 nights. We found this interesting, rambling house easy to fit us all comfortably. We found ourselves rain drenched during one of our days in the field and washer/ dryer set up convenient to do laundry to be ready for the next day. Our trip was timed during the monthly low/ high tide and we were greeted by a knowledgeable volunteer for the fish and wildlife service on the beach able to answer all our questions about the nesting seabirds in the cliffs. In addition, the house has its own copy of the Peterson's field guide to birds. I would be comfortable recommending this house to anyone looking for a roomy, nicely set up house in an amazing setting.
