You'll be just 500 feet from the crystal clear waters of the lake and less than a block from the Pine Mountain Lake Marina. Within the Pine Mountain Lake gated community, you will have access to a swimming pool, restaurant, golf, and many hiking trails. And don't forget a day trip to Yosemite National Park (about 50miles east) - it's a wonderful place to visit year-round!

It was a perfect getaway for the kids and I. The internet was not working; however, this was not a deal breaker. I was nice to play DVDs and VHS movies. It was pretty cool to see my kids put down their phone. Not a bad drive to Yosemite either.

Nice area and place. Just a little DIY. The beds are VERY firm and not a lot of light inside, especially upstairs. Also pretty warm in August and only a wall unit and fans (two of which didn’t work). It was clean and spacious. Right across from the lake.

Unfortunately, this time around Vacasa had let us down in a big way! Upon our arrival we realized that the house had not been cleaned as thoroughly as had been promised - Coffee filter in the coffee pot that was molded, dirty utensils and glassware Were in cupboard, bedding had some weird stuff on it, we had to wash it over again (had to buy own detergent as there were none in the house), Trash cans were full of rotting trash to which deers came to help themselves, Cobwebs all over, dead flies on window sills, ants in the downstairs bathroom, painters tape hanging off the walls in the upper bathroom, empty water bottle behind nightstand in the loft, strange bugs in the kitchen, and many many other things.

I contacted the rental agency right away, but unfortunately aside a few little bare necessities they were not able to bring the house up to par. In fact management made no attempts to contact me through my stay (which was 7 nights!!!) to see if I needed anything else given all other issues we were having : Disposal was broken, for seven nights there were just two pods for the dishwasher, Lightbulbs were missing in a few lamps, batteries from the TV remote were missing, there were a total of 5(!!) forks for a house designated for 8-10, Picnic table on the deck is in need of serious repair with bench boards coming off revealing rusty nails, there was a broken chair in the kitchen off of which my grandma almost fell, & etc, etc, etc.) I truly hope VACASA management make an attempt to rectify this situation somehow - i understand this house is old so i could expect lack of Or old appliances, no WIFI or cable (house doesn’t have either BTW), moldy cabinets and missing shelves in the fridge- thus the house is somewhat cheap (depending on time of rental, or course) and, of course, location is prime! But if you are coming up to PML to have a good time and are not looking to be making numerous trips to the store to stack up on necessities or clean after previous tenants, this house should be avoided at all costs!

Please know this is not our standard, and we have taken measures to ensure our housekeeping team is meeting our Premium Clean standards. We appreciate you calling us to notify us of the issues right away and we do show that our local staff did contact you and drop off supplies, lightbulbs, batteries for the remotes, and cutlery. Our local staff has confirmed the chairs in the kitchen and dining room are safe for use, the cabinets and fridge shelves have been remediated, and the garbage disposal is functioning. We apologize for any frustration during your stay and we were happy to refund you for the issues experienced during your stay. We hope to have the opportunity to host you in the future, for a much more enjoyable stay!
