Sure, the decor is a bit dated, but the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is serviceable, and the place is full of games and puzzles to enjoy some indoor downtime. Highly recommended.

Place was big enough and had great private River access. Would stay again, although pricey

This home was like stepping into grandma’s house: comfy, cozy and inviting. The grounds were well kept and my children enjoyed laying around in the yard. The river was a great source of entertainment, with plenty of wood for a fire. The property is mostly private with lots of big trees and bushes. The large windows in the home made it wonderful to be able to sit inside and watch the treetops move in the wind. We enjoyed our stay immensely and can not wait to come back! Thank you for a memorable stay.

This cabin was EXACTLY what we needed/expected for our Memorial Day weekend! No internet, no cable, NO PROBLEM. If you're looking for a nice, clean, affordable getaway to unplug, this is the perfect place. The cabin is very roomy, comfortable, & cozy. Our family included 4 teenagers (15-17 yrs) and although the weather (rainy) didn't allow us to take advantage of the river (right in the backyard) they still had lots of fun staying indoors. The cabin had some very old school VHS movies our kids had never seen so they enjoyed watching them and making fun of the poor quality of the 80's. We also spent lots of time playing cards, dice, & board games (all provided by the cabin). I want to mention the kitchen is FULLY stocked with everything you'll need (I over packed because I did not know what to expect, but it had EVERYTHING we needed). This was a nice and relaxing vacation our family needed and the cabin was PERFECT. I definitely would recommend this rental to family and friends and will rent it again!

We had a lovely and magical snow-filled weekend at this cozy mountain cabin. It’s super comfortable and well appointed. Very much felt like we stepped into someone’s well loved and well cared for family home. Quiet, serene and felt very private. Lots of snow, but no trouble getting in and out with all-wheel drive (and chains just in case). Great hosts, easy communication, the house was well prepared and ready for our arrival. And we loved the movie collection! We will definitely be back.

This was the 2nd year in a row my friends and I stayed here, and we hope to stay again next year. Plenty of room for yard games, like croquet or badmitton, easy access to the river which is very floatable in August. Takes about 2 hrs from the time the pickup car is dropped off, about 5 mins away, until we were back at the house. Multiple floats happened! BBQ, while well used, worked just fine to grill dogs and burgers. House stayed cool all weekend, and the temps were 80-85.
