Parking Notes: Please park across the street from the steps. There are 20-30 steps down to the cottage.

Dock Details: Boat Lift - When removing boat, lower the boat lift decks only as far as needed to remove the boat, just below the water's surface. If the decks are lowered too far, this will cause slack in the cables and will result in them becoming entangled in the pulleys when raised again. What a wonderful time we had! The kids joined us for the week and we had so much fun - kayaking, paddle boards, fishing, and swimming - Euchre, Yahtzee, and Solitare on the screened in porch - coffee, sunbathing, and cocktails on the dock - HEAVEN! What a charming and cozy place to vacation. Thank you!

The cottage is very charming and well-maintained. Views are spectacular and it was great to be able to walk directly to the water. A really great place to relax and recharge. Would definitely stay here again.

This house is fun, very clean and was the perfect place for a small gathering. We loved hanging out on the dock taking in the beautiful lake view. In the evening we really enjoyed the screened porch area.
We would definitely book this place again!

Our family had a great time vacationing at this comfortable, classic cottage. The cottage has many thoughtful touches and is in a perfect location. We spent most of our time on the dock and swimming, with daily hikes in the many surrounding trails. The town of Hammondsport, where we got ice cream several times, is charming. There’s so much to see and do in the area. We hope to come back soon!

The location is outstanding, and the house is really nice (not super luxurious, but comfortable and with a delightful number of different spaces for a large family or group to use without being on top of one another). The tiny, basic bathrooms leave something to be desired, but c'est la vie. I would *definitely* rent it again.

I will warn people, however, that we had some serious problems that should have been simple to resolve and instead ruined our first day. Upon arrival, the described lockbox was missing. After spending 2.5 hours (!!!) on hold with Vacasa, the agent revealed that she had a note that she confirmed *we could not see* that the key had been moved and hidden elsewhere, but we were not informed. Once we got inside, the place had been well-cleaned, but the dirty bedding and towels from the previous renters had been left behind in big plastic bags, with no fresh bedding in its place. We had to race two hours round-trip to a Walmart to buy bedding and towels for six before they closed, and missed our first night on the lake.

Also, while we were swimming a neighbor (?) walked into the yard and into KeukaMonga's gazebo and took tools, without saying a word. We had no idea whether this was legit or not, and called Vacasa again, who said they would ask the owners, and was promised a response, which we never got.

All in all I'd give the property an A and the renting experience an F.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The lake is beautiful and quiet. We watched the sunrise every morning from the dock. The cottage is clean and plenty of privacy. Had everything we needed. Close to downtown and restaurants. Plenty of great places to eat. Highly recommended.

All our expectations were fulfilled as we entered this lovely cottage. The inside was spacious and airy. There was plenty of room for privacy when needed as well as plenty of room for family gathering. It was very clean and inviting. The kitchen had newer appliances and every thing to prepare meals. The screened in porch was a popular gathering area. The area outside was spacious and private. The fishing was outstanding. Great dock and raft. We had a wonderful vacation here.

My family has been coming to Keuka for years and we almost always get the same cottage on West Lake Road, so we were initially disappointed to find that it wasn't available this year. However, after staying at KeukaMonga for the first time, I hope we can come back here! This sweet home has tons of charm, from the property to the decorations. We found everything we needed for our stay, plus bonus amenities like the SUP boards, floating dock, and kayak for extra outdoor options. I've seen other reviews that lament the lack of TV, but I found it refreshing (I didn't even notice for the first few days), and instead we took advantage of the puzzles available to work on in the mornings while drinking coffee and looking out over the lake. Besides the stairs (a standard WLR hazard), the property was just right and we spent most of our time out on the dock or in the screened-in porch enjoying the lake views of the bluff. The only addition I would make in the future is more seating in the indoor living area for rainy or cool days, but we made due with temporary seating and spent as much time as possible outside anyway. Overall, we highly recommend, and hope to come back!
