During COVID-19, it's difficult to safely vacation with multiple households. But if you rent the main house and the guest house, you'll have a fantastic shared outdoor area for maintaining 6' social distance! There's plenty of seating on the deck, and each house has its own fire pit.

At low tide, exploring the bare lake bottom is fun for everyone. The lakefront and grassy areas are an exciting and safe adventure for dogs. Multiple clamming beaches are less than an hour away, and Fred Meyer, Safeway, and Milkvue, are 15-20 mins away.

The main house is very spacious with big windows for natural lighting. Aside from the dog smell (as to be expected from a dog-friendly rental), we found the house to be very clean. The kitchen was stocked with new sponges, plenty of soap, and hand sanitizer. We had just enough dishwasher pods to get us through our stay, and we appreciated the variety of cookware and appliances (food processor, full set of knives, collanders, cutting boards, and more).

When we checked in, we noticed the main house refrigerator was warm and leaking melted ice. Luckily, there's a refrigerator in the guest house too. Also, Vacasa very helpful in troubleshooting the issue and then sending a maintenance person out just a few hours later.

As another reviewer mentioned, our map apps took us down the wrong road. When you book the house, make sure to note the street name in the address. Your map app will tell you to turn off of that street name as the last step in your directions. As long as you stay on that street name, you'll find the house easily.

We loved this house and were very happy with the response from Vacasa when we had our refrigerator issue. Would definitely rent this house again.

Perfect yard and waterfront setting, great for kids and dogs alike! The house was comfortable and well equipped. Note there is another rental on the property that shares the yard, but thankfully it wasn’t occupied while we were there.

I actually had a very bad experience with Vacasa previously. And this was my second round with them, I loved this house, it was beyond what I expected. I loved the fact that they prepared it with extra attention to details for a family stay (extra beach towels, seating areas, kitchen fully packed etc). The house is wonderful, we had a great time and might come back for more. The only thing you need to remember is that there are 2 extra units within the same property lines, basically the units seats on the same location, so we got lucky and we were alone there but had there been someone renting the other 2 units our vacation would probably got destroyed since you literally seat in the same back yard.

Property is private and home is beautiful with awesome musical options — jukebox and record player were big hits. Watch the tides when you book. All our days were marked by no water from 11-5 ish!!!
