Generations was a great place for our family to stay during a long weekend trip to Douglass/Saugatuck. It was a nice halfway point for folks from Chicago and Detroit. For 7 adults and 2 kids there was plenty of room for everyone. The best part was the large kitchen and dining area where everyone congregated. Very close to Oval Beach and downtown Saugatuck to spend the days and short half mile walk to Douglass beach to view the beautiful sunsets. The big deck with 2 patio tables, string lights, grill, and firepit all added to the wonderful experience.

We had a girls' weekend with plans to attend the Tulip Festival in nearby Holland, MI. We did go see the tulips one day but spent the majority of our time at the house eating, playing games, and enjoying the firepit and each other's company. The kitchen was excellent for gathering.

Group of guys who golf, had a nice grill and backyard. Showers with powerful water pressure and beds were comfortable.

We enjoyed this cozy little spot as it was prefectly located to access all the activities of the area. The house was large enough for our group and the spacious backyard was perfect for the kids in the evenings. The grill is brand-new and worked wonderfully for our dinners in due to pressures of Covid. A few pots and pans could be refreshed but got the job done. Over-all, a great spot with plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Very clean too.

The kitchen is the hub of the house ,so much room for all of us to be in there at the same time . Love the deck and backyard , deer and turkeys visited everyday . Lot s of room to sit and read and watch TV ,play games . Close to the lakeshore for a walk to sunset

Generations worked well for our multi-generational family providing the space we needed. It was close to the beach and hiking which was important to us.
Unfortunately, Vacasa was not easy to work with. If you need to make changes do not rely on email. While you can communicate slowly through email, apparently they only act on phone calls.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Gayle. We are pleased to read that this home was an excellent fit for your party. We apologize for any frustration you experienced when reaching out to us. Please know that we are in the midst of expanding our guest services team to meet the current demands of guests reaching out to us via phone, text, and email. We look forward to another opportunity to impress you in the future!

We rent this house for a friend's birthday celebration and it was perfect. Lots of space, great yard, open kitchen, and close to the beach. Our kids loved the loft area with the single beds and the adults appreciated the peaceful back porch and yard.

Beautiful house a short walk to the beach. Woke up to deer in the backyard. Very clean!

I was pleasantly surprised at how much bigger this home is! I walked through the front door (not really knowing what to expect) and was so happy to see that all of the bedrooms were on the main floor and the upstairs had 4 beds as well! The back yard and kitchen is where we spent most of our time and we had plenty of space and felt very relaxed! Super close to the beach and town! The kitchen was STOCKED with pretty much any and all dishes you'd ever need. Plenty of silverware, cups, counter space, etc. Also, I was running late and the management company was SO easy going and were super easy to work with!!

My family (5 adults, 5 children) enjoyed everything about the rental on McVea St in Douglas, MI. The house was able to handle anything the 10 of us wanted - plenty of wide open rooms inside & delightful, flat backyard and large desk outside. Rental agency was very helpful with directions and add'l information about the area. We plan on a return stay.
