Great open concept floor plan, and nice little hill on the driveway for the kids to sled down! Loved our stay!

Great getaway for the guys for offroading and outdoor adventures. The house and property included all the necessities and then some. Great communication with the owner, probably our favorite yet!

You’re in the middle of the wilderness yet minutes away from society. The cabin is big and has a large outdoor space. It’s a great place to stay!

We had a blast staying at this property over the weekend. Joanne was very responsive to all the questions we had.
Two thumbs up and will definitely stay here again.

Elk Tracks Lodge is a beautiful place for a winter vacation. The location is very easy to find and the best thing is that it is just an hour away from Seattle. We spent three nights at New Years at the lodge and had wonderful time. The lodge is equipped with everything needed to live and enjoy. The heating system works great and keeps the whole place warm and cozy. During the day we went cross country skiing at Cabin Creak, just 10 minutes away, the pass is 20 min away, very convenient for day activities. You need a Sno-Park pass for parking. There was lots of snow, but the driveway was nice and clean. The owner Joanne was very kind, trying to help with everything that we needed to make our stay most enjoyable. Thank you.

First let me start my saying that the communication from Joanne was great! There is always some stress involved regarding any stay in any place on vacation however, Joanne made things very easy and comforting through her quick responses.
As far as the lodge this place is absolutely amazing! The lodge has an open concept so the extremely large kitchen allowed everyone in the living room to be involved in conversations and the kitchen literally has everything you need to prepare even gourmet meals. Most importantly to me the lodge was extremely clean, warm and the beds were extremely comfortable. All I can say is that my wife, children and the other couple we were with were thoroughly impressed. We have already recommended this lodge to our friends.

What a wonderful house. My family of 8 including myself and two children spent our Christmas here. It was perfect. The beautiful gourmet kitchen and great room were the perfect size. We had lots of room and a roaring fire in the wood stove. The couches and all the furniture were so comfy. And plenty of snow. We sledded and played everyday. I highly recommend this great house and location. Joanne, the owner, was so friendly and easy to get a hold of if you needed anything. Thank you Joanne!! The best Christmas ever!!

Great stay in a beautiful part of Washington. The home was more than comfortable for our two families and Joanne went out of her way on Thanksgiving day to make sure we had access. Loved staying here and would again when travels bring me back this way.

We loved this house for our three families get away with preschoolers and babies. The kitchen was fully equipped to do all sorts of cooking, the house is child friendly with lots of space to run around.
The king beds are quite tall off the ground so if you sleep with your baby you may want to use the other rooms.
The owner was very friendly and easy to reach answering all the requests in a timely manner.
We'll definitely reconsider for our next ski getaway.

My family had another fabulous stay at Elk Tracks Lodge! We returned to celebrate my mother's birthday and spend some quality time together. We truly enjoyed our time sledding and playing in the snow in this peaceful and serene setting. Joanne went out of her way to accommodate us, making the check-in process seamless, and our stay stress-free. We couldn't ask for anything more and are already looking forward to our next trip!

We stayed at Joanne's Elk's Lodge for NYE 2016. We had 3 families with 5 children under 5. Joanne was extremely accommodating with our schedule and her house was perfect. It was extremely clean and comfortable and fit our families nicely. The kids had a wonderful time playing in the great room and playing in the snow while the parents looked on in the comfort of the family room. Only draw back was that there were only 2 master bathrooms so the families had to share showers - but no big deal. We spent one day skiiinf at Snoqualmie and another day sledding and ice skating at Suncadia. Overall, it was perfect - thanks Joanne!!
Oh - there was also no internet. When I texted Joanne about it she responded immediately and suggested we use a phone as a hot spot and it worked like a charm!

This property was clean and very well managed. We enjoyed our stay very much. It was also close to a little town called Roswell and the Red Bird Cafe where everything is made from scratch. The biscuits and gravy were delicious. But that is not about the property. This property also had plenty of DVD's to watch. It is also a beautiful place to go for a nature walk. I had several correspondents with the owner and she was very helpful and answered my e-mails promptly. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away for a peaceful relaxing vacation. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Elk Tracks Lodge is fantastic! The home is lovely, clean, and stocked with everything you could need. The owner responded quickly and was a delight to work with. The setting is perfect; serene, peaceful, secluded, and just absolutely beautiful when covered in snow. My family went here to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday and she hasn't stopped raving about how wonderful it was, and how the memories we made there will last a lifetime.

Just spent 3 nights with our adult kids to celebrate Christmas together. This place has plenty of room for the 6 of us. The kitchen is big enough to cook for an army. The beds were all very nice. Being there in the snow was amazing and so peaceful not a sound. Large choice of DVD's if you get tired of playing in the snow. This is my 12th VRBO and it is definitely a keeper.

I would highly recommend this home. It is clean, beds are comfortable. It was like being at home. The kitchen is equipped for all you cooking needs. There is a Nintendo Wii at the house which came in very handy for the kids. We hiked in the woods and along the river. We did not see elk but we saw where they had walked through.

I recently stayed at Elk Tracks Lodge with my husband and 7 of our close friends. This was an absolutely beautiful home tucked away in the woods. There were plenty of beds for all of us and the jacuzzi in one of the master bedrooms was fabulous (and romantic!). Despite having 9 people there for several days, the large space and number of bathrooms never made us feel too cramped in. We were able to easily prepare all of our meals together in, what I would call, the most beautiful and spacious kitchen I've ever used. The wood stove in the living room also added to the mountain cabin feeling.
This home is so close to all of the area's recreation opportunities for both summer and wintertime.
True to its name, we did get to see elk grazing just outside the home!
I would highly recommend staying at Elk Tracks Lodge and look forward to more getaways there myself!
