Every conceivable amenity was available. The house "works" well and is comfortable, well-appointed, and pleasant to be in.
I really enjoyed time here with friends. The only thing that was an issue was the internet going out once — but I restarted the modem and all was fine! I would like to point out that the oven needs maintenance or replacing as it wouldn’t preheat past 315, but the stovetop worked! I’s also suggest: it’d be nice to have a better coffee maker, or at least a grinder! I went out and purchased my own Bunn (if you’re a coffee enthusiast like I am then head over the the hardware store nearby or bring your own coffee amenities if you can hehe). The hot tub was awesome, we enjoyed that a couple of nights and early mornings. The lighting in the house was great, I just didn’t have enough light outside, specifically the front door and the area around the hot tub when it was dark out.
the kitchen space was open and nice, great for community meals and the seating around the home was exactly as advertised and clean, so definitely no complaints there!
all in all, i’d say that place is a fantastic space for a small family or group of friends for a cozy weekend in sunriver.
The kitchen wasn't as well equipped as I'd like. No mixer to bake so we bought one and donated it to the house. Most pots and pans didn't seem very clean and one that is kept with the cookie sheets is more rust than pan!
New pans and cookie sheets are in the home. Thank you!
This is a great house located in a nice quiet spot. Walking distance to the bridge where you put in for the slow float. A short bike ride to all the activities.
We'll definitely be back!
Beautiful home! Pet friendly, bikes, Sharc passes and a hot tub. Room for the whole family.
Great spot, close to river and Village. Interior decor is outdated, but house was comfortable. My only recommendation would be to pave the driveway...it's the only one in the loop with a dirt drive...creates a lot of dust, and makes the road look bad with all the tire tracks.
This was our first vacation rental home experience. Vacasa provided excellent service before, during & after! The property met our expectations as we only had pictures on the Internet to go from. It was very clean and very comfortable.
Very, very outdated. It did have an odor about it, not offensive though. If they really updated this home and replaced the carpeting, I would definitely stay again. The lofts could be so very cool, instead they're old smelling and kind of creepy.
We did enjoy the deck and the kids loved the bikes and the cool garage (it's really something to see;) They should include a picture of it on the website! The house was roomier than I thought and the kitchen island was a great place to hang out. This was our first time to Sunriver but it won't be our last!
The house is a perfect place to relax or use as a base camp to explore Central Oregon. The walking paths around the SunRiver resort were perfect to walk the dog and start the day. The house is close proximity to Mt Bachelor-perfectly located to take advantage of winter sports and easily get outside.
The house was clean, spacious and was well stocked with kitchen tools making it easy to prepare meals. The hot tub was a bonus for relaxing after out door activities.
We rented this house over the Thanksgiving holiday and found it to be wonderful! The kitchen was well stocked with plates, silverware, pots and pans. We were able to cook a great meal for our family of 5 and sit down and eat at a dinner table. The space was well set up and our family was comfortable and didn't feel like we didn't have room. Our stay was incredibly relaxing with the hot tub and we were able to walk into Sunriver Village multiple times. Thank you for the great home!
This home is actually better than the write up! We loved it! The home is spacious and very very comfortable. It's pretty too! There are so many areas in the home in which to relax. Beautiful, yet highly functional. If this home was for sale, our daughter and family would buy it instantly. Highly recommend !
This cabin is comfy and the outside set up perfectly to enjoy a summer's evening. I was pleasantly surprised at the presence of grass for my pooch to play on. The hot tub was great! The size of the cabin was also surprising! Plenty of room for everyone with a family room, living room and sun room.
we had a great time in SunRiver! the house was very comfortable and felt homey. the property is very quiet and private. We would stay again!
The location of this home was perfect. It was far enough away from the congestion of Sun River, but close enough to walk to coffee (about 1.5 miles one way) on the bike path. There were neighbors, but they were far enough away to feel secluded. While the home was a little dated, and the beds were not the most comfortable, the space itself was very comfortable and relaxing. The deck was lovely to sit and read on, the kitchen well stocked, and our dog was quite comfortable as well. The cleaning crew must do a good job of getting other pet smells out of there bc our dog had no interest in sniffing around. If I had small children scooting around on the floor, I might have wanted updated carpet...but we don't so I could care less. It was a quiet oasis in an otherwise busy vacation spot. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.
We enjoyed our stay and the hot tub. It is nice and big for 6 people and was roomy. The rooms were big.
a unique and fun residence

Wonderful lodging. Could use updated shower heads. Also the master bed mattress needs to be replaced, we sank into the middle so slept in side room instead. suggest getting knife sharpener for house as well. Thank you for everything
We loved Sunriver and my grandkids particularly loved the hot tub. A very comfortable house, in pretty good condition except for the carpets. We realize they were vacuumed, but need a thorough cleaning.
Thanks for your 5 star review and feedback. We are very happy to hear that your family enjoyed your visit. We are sorry to hear that the carpets are in need of a shampoo and will schedule one at the soonest availability. Thanks for sharing!
Pine Needle 5 is a roomy, comfortable, well kept home, in a quiet area that is still close to most of the south end attractions of Sunriver. Our family has come back to it at least three times now and plan to use it again.
There were 6 adults and felt we had ample space. Enjoyed having the bikes and Sharc passes was an extra bonus.
We stayed at Number 5 Pine Needles in Sun River, and while there were a few sprucing up things the place could have used, overall, we were quite happy with it. It had a wonderful TV and Cable package and good wi-fi, lots of room, you got to park in the garage to unload, which was very nice, and the kitchen had a lot of very useful kitchen tools that made it very easy to cook. it was very quiet -- so quiet in fact that the neightbors called the police on us because they didn't know anyone had rented the place. The Sun River Police -- the two times we encountered them -- were great. One helped us find the place, and the one that came to check the place after a neigbor reported "something suspicious" there was very polite and considerate. It could easily and comfortably accomodate a small group, with dishes, glasses, and cookware enough to keep a group fed.
We appreciate your review! Many of our homes are in residential areas and it seems like this person was trying to be a good neighbor, but we're sorry that they called the police. We are glad that you were happy with the home, it's TV/Cable package and garage access.
Loved biking by the river, bird watching and sitting in the hot tub. We were two grandparents, two parents and two children and the house was just right for us. The children loved the indoor pools, grandparents liked the shopping area and parents liked the brew pub, We had a great time.
We loved our stay on Pine Needle in Sun River! Lots to do in the area and we could easily have spent more than the three nights we did. The SHARC passes that come with the rental unit were very useful. Tennis courts were fairly close and if you golf, one of the golf courses is nearby. We loved the sunset bike rides along the path by the river (6 bikes in the garage meant we could ALL go for rides together). The river path is very accessible to the Pine Needle house. The hot tub was a welcome treat as well. The home was clean and well maintained. We'll definitely return.
It is great to hear that you had a good time. Please visit us again soon.
Nice place, very dated but still nice. Loads of room for 8 people
