Views of the Three Arches await from this cozy, dog-friendly home for six
This dog-friendly Oceanside vacation rental is bursting with character and awaiting up to six family or friends, where you can enjoy the entrancing ocean even from the comfort of the indoors.
Not only are you close to the Three Arches, but you see them right from your bedroom window! Oceanside Beach State Recreation Site is just across the street, giving you easy access to the gorgeous sandy shores of the Oregon Coast. You won't need to travel far for anything here with shops and eateries within a few miles away.
From lighthouse renderings to actual coral and starfish, the ocean life comes to you from inside this lovely beach cottage.
With overstuffed crimson leather furniture and a wood stove in front of a rustic white brick wall, the living room is great for catching up with loved ones, a movie night on the flatscreen TV, playing games across the coffee table, and a quick afternoon nap before scampering back out for more adventures. A DVD and VHS player are attached to the TV, and there are also WiFi, a stereo, and an iPod dock, so you can turn up the tunes while spending quality time together.
Backed against gorgeous natural wood walls, the dining room table for six is perfect for sit-down family meals. Gaze out the large windows at the enchanting ocean as you sip your morning coffee.
Boasting dark cabinets and cream tiled countertops, the kitchen comes well stocked with everything you'll need to whip up tasty meals. Clean up is made a snap with the portable dishwasher (which hooks up to the sink when needed), and also provided are an oven, refrigerator, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, toaster, microwave, and lots of cookware.
The main floor has a quaint bedroom with a comfortable queen-size bed. Guests staying here can use the bathroom with a stand-alone shower located just down the hall. There is also a washer and dryer so you can stay clean and have fresh clothes for the next day's activities no matter how long you decide to stay.
Up a few stairs is the stunning master bedroom. White linens and furniture create a peaceful oasis. Use the binoculars to take in closer views of the waves crashing against the shore before using the attached bathroom to get ready for bed.
With the two beds and the living room sofabed, there is room for all six guests (four adults comfortably) to rest each night. If you decide to bring along your furry family members, please keep in mind there is an associated dog fee.
Enjoy the ocean breeze while you walk to Roseanna's Cafe for a cup of coffee or a quick bite to eat. Though Oceanside has few businesses, you'll find ample options in Netarts - including the Schooner Restaurant and a small market where you can pick up the basics. Rent kayaks or surfboards from a nearby town (or bring your own) to explore the ocean before lounging on the beach listening to its rhythmic hum. Tillamook is only nine miles away if you want to see right where that delicious ice cream (and their amazing cheese!) is created.
From feeding the seagulls to snuggling up at this welcoming Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental, you'll find the best home base for your family or friend getaway here. A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

The home was clean and close to the beach. We spent more time out of the house because the weather was bright and sunny (but still early March cold). The house was nice to come back to. We would definitely rent it again if we were in the area.

I love coming to Oceanside and this location did not disappoint.
The view is incredible!
The kitchen had everything we needed.
The main master is awesome with the view and relaxing atmosphere.
Loved the decor and special touches.
We figured out the portable dish washer due to I had one growing up in my family home.
We hope to have a return visit in the summer

Bring your binoculars, check out the fishing boats out on the horizon. Was a great place to relax and enjoy the ocean sounds. The house was very clean and more than comfortable for us and a close walk to the beach.

The view and the quiet location of the property
We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay, David. We hope to host you again soon.
Janet G.Aug 2019
We had a perfect view of the ocean and within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and other family member homes.
Sara G.Jun 2019
Had a wonderful mom-and-daughter getaway here! The view was incredible, and the home was spotless and well-maintained. Easy walk to the beach and cafes in town. We'll be back.

Oceanside is my favorite town on the Oregon coast. This house is in a PERFECT location - one of the closest possible homes to the beach in Oceanside. The view from the living room and master bedroom windows was GORGEOUS.
We had 5 guests and a dog. All were happy and comfortable.
I will specifically seek this house out again.
Cristine U.Apr 2019
Loved the location, views, and well equipped house!

Getting lost out the big front windows. Even saw the whales spouting. Very exciting. Everything about this little place I love. Can't wait to return.
lori s.Jan 2019
Could not of asked for anything better. I have never been to Oceanside, can't wait for my next visit. The master bedroom is amazing. Watching the night sky and never leaving the pillow. Wave Watch'n is truly the sport to do here!

We stayed here for the New Year and really enjoyed our stay - cozy, clean, and nice big windows to enjoy the view. I was so excited to see a fire pit right outside, including a beautiful view of the ocean. Perfect for watching the sunset! We will definitely be back.
Jonathan K.Dec 2018
The view and beach access was great! We had a great time.
Brigitte F.Nov 2018
You can't beat the views from multiple large windows in this house. Oceanside is off the beaten path and has a fantastic beach. At low tide you can even enter a man made cave and visit the beach on the other side of the headland...great adventure and a beautiful beach.
The house was small but charming except for the kitchen which was just adequate.
I would rent it again.

We’ve stayed in 4or5 places in Oceanside. This one, while not beachfront, has a great view and is close to everything. Well maintained and upgraded since we last stayed there. A better selection of tv would be appreciated- Netflix? We’re seeing that much Moy often in vacation rentals.
Stephanie S.Oct 2018
We love this place so much that I don't want to sing it's praises too much or it will be booked all the time. :)
Kim K.Sep 2018
We loved the cozy home, great views, small town feel and peaceful walks on the beach!
Ann I.Aug 2018
Everything we hoped in terms of proximity to beach & facilities. Had booked our stay to include a weekday thinking we could get a little work done but the Internet (and by extension phone) were so unstable we just had to give up - couldn’t even hold a 15 min convo without it getting dropped. Too bad - we’d stay longer in the future if that weren’t the case!

Wave Watch'N is the perfect size for a couple + dog or couple + dog + guest. Very short walk to beach and restaurants yet private and great views. We've stayed in places 3x as expensive in Oceanside but they aren't worth the extra money in my opinion. This home has it all and is one of the closest to the beach in town.
Aviva E.Aug 2018
Loved the views from the living room and master bedroom! A very short walk to the beach. Also enjoyed the outdoor seating area. A comfortable home with lots of fun artistic touches.
Stacey M.Jul 2018
Loved it!! The view of the ocean was breath taking. Also loved the quaintness that a smaller house provides. Our group was spread out over 5 different house and this one had the best views by far!!! Will definitely be back!!
Annette H.Apr 2018
We loved the spectacular views and the well stocked kitchen and the staff at Vacasa!!! The beachy home decor was also a joy!
Teresa K.Jan 2018
You'll love it~

We definitely enjoyed staying at this house. The views of the ocean and offshore islands cannot be bested, and beach access is a 3-minute walk (or less!). The kitchen is nicely equipped, all of the appliances work just fine. Adjacent properties are far enough away that you don't hear them. It is a slightly older property, so there will probably be some modernizing that comes in time, but overall, a really easy place to land and enjoy the coast for a few days.
Marianne S.Nov 2017
Great place to stay. View is fantastic and everything you need close by.
Marcia L.Oct 2017
Loved our stay. Great location and lovely beach house. Already talking about a return trip.
Jim S.Sep 2017
Nice view, convenient to the beach and town. a classic beach cabin - funky, comfortable. TONS of bric-a-brack a bit overwhelming. Hopefully they'll provide intstructions on use of TV/VCR so future guests won't be as frustrated as we were.
Alison C.Jul 2017
We have stayed in this cottage twice and both times it was charming, clean, and comfortable. The beach is interesting, uncrowded and occasionally gives up a clear agate.
Kelly L.Jul 2017
There are few views more beautiful in Oceanside than the ocean from the Wave Watchn' property. Whales, sea lions, and eagles are all your neighbors from this delightful home. Just a short walk to the beach, the house is located on a rarely used road with an unobstructed view of the beach and ocean. You have a front row seat to the wonderful private fireworks on the 4th of July and you can stroll the sandy beaches 2 minutes after leaving the front door. The layout of the home is well-suited for a variety of activities - 2 different seating areas, an open kitchen, and 2 deck areas provide space for games, movies, a glass of wine, or quiet contemplation. We have rented this property twice and will come back again.
Steve R.May 2017
It's a nice little place — clean and comfortable and nothing fancy. The master bedroom is very comfortable and airy but with a tiny bathroom. The other bedroom is tiny but with a larger bathroom down the hall. It's in a great location for this sleepy little town, just a block from cafes and the beach.
Liz T.May 2017
For the same price as a hotel we stayed in this lovely home. Wifi worked great, it's right in the middle of town but back on it's own road. Bed was super comfy. View is amazing. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, & utensils. I don't think we could have picked a better place to stay!
Angela J.Apr 2017
We spent nine days at the Wavenwatch, and found it to be clean and comfortable. Many previous guests had left essentials for cooking which was a benefit. The area is quiet. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with a beautiful view at Roseanna's and had some terrific food and beer at The Blue Agate Cafe. We had a great time walking through the tunnel on the beach, and enjoying the other beaches. We watched the most incredible sunsets, and found bountiful mussels. Nearby Netarts had a little store that had everything we needed from fresh produce to wine and souvenirs.
We enjoyed watching parasailers and hang gliders from the house and on the beach.
When it rained we got to see the fishing boats out the window.
Upon arrival we found fresh towels and linens, enough to make sure all three of our kids had comfortable spaces to sleep whether it was on the hide a bed, guest bed or even the couch. The decorating was whimsical and interesting, and while it may be too much for some, we found it fun and thought it added to the beachy feel.
The two drawback we had were that we had no cell service in the house or on most of the beach, and the landline phone was not working, and that the guest bathroom shower valve needed replacing. It did not regulate the temperature, it wavered from fine to scalding to cold so we only had one shower for the five of us.
We are delighted to see this guest had a great time on the coast while staying with us. The Property Manager has a plumber scheduled to come and install a new faucet. There is no cell coverage in Oceanside, but the home does have a landline. We apologize that it was disconnected for this stay; it has since been repaired. Thank you!
Carol S.Mar 2017
This is a cozy little home in Oceanside. There are steps to enter so no one with mobility issues can use the home. The description says up to 6 people but who wants to sleep on a hide a bed? 4 would be comfortable.
The view is magnificent, especially from the master bedroom.
I'm glad we located it in the daylight. It would have been very difficult after dark because the road is no more than an alley, including potholes and gravel.
We would stay here again, but just the two of us and our little dog.
Keith D.Jan 2017
Really enjoyed. Great view of waves rolling in.
Annette H.Nov 2016
We were more than satisfied. It was beautifully decorated, great views all over the house, and very comfy. Nice to have 2 t.v.'s too and a great selection of videos. Nice also to have a hose to wash the sand off our feet by the patio! Thank you for a wonderful vacation. My only sadness is we could not have stayed longer!!!
Anne L.Oct 2016
This place is quirky, maybe too much decor? But it was very clean and comfortable! The view of the ocean is amazing and the price is very right! Just steps to the beach and plenty room for the 5 of us! More amenities than we expected and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and baking. Games and puzzles and movies will keep you busy indoors at night. Watching the waves was endlessly entertaining! Wish we could have stayed longer!!
Richard S.Oct 2016
Perfect location, awesome view, clean, but just a bit dated inside.
Emma B.Sep 2016
Wonderful place to stay. Exceptional bang for your buck. Ocean-front view, clean home, short walk to beach access. Highly recommend.
Heather W.Aug 2016
Super cute and close to the beach.
Jo B.Aug 2016
Loved the proximity to beach and nearby attractions. Kitchen was very well equipped and since there is very little in the way of restaurants in town, it is nice to be able to cook with all the conveniences.
Curtis S.Aug 2016
Great hidden gem. Incredible sunsets, beautiful beaches and very family friendly. A bit out of the way, which I now realize is the whole point. Cafes are quant, nearest grocery store is in Tillamook and the prices are super high, I recommend doing your shopping ahead of time.
The best fresh crab and oysters can still be found at Jetty Fishery and Marina, ten minutes north of Rockaway Beach. Well worth the drive.
We will definitely go back and will prioritize Oceanside over most of our usual Coastal haunts.
Sharon W.Aug 2016
Enjoyed our stay! Was very close to the beach and small town of Oceanside.
Pamela R.Aug 2016
Way to small for 6 people!!! Our first experience on the Oregon coast, hope next time it will be better.
Patricia T.Jul 2016
Great place to enjoy ocean views rain or shine,Perfect location! Thanks Wave Watcher????
Melina T.Jul 2016
The location of this property is great. Beach access is about 200 feet from the house. It is a tight space but it works. The big issue is the lack of a fan in one of the bedrooms. My son called it the dungeon room as it was very dark and hot.. The window didn't have a screen so bugs got in and my son was bitten three times in the middle of the night. So ou can't open the window to cool the room. It's hard to sleep well in a hot room.
Then I couldn't find a cutting board or a cheese grater. I've always found these in VRBO homes as they are pretty basic items. Some people don't go out to eat all the time and cook in homes.
Because we had to choose between a hot bedroom or bug bites, I wouldn't stay there again, but if they fixed that I would recommend the place.
We appreciate having these items brought to our attention. A new window screen has been ordered and will be installed as soon as it arrives, and a fan has been placed in the back bedroom. The Property Manager has also placed a cutting board in the home.
Sheree W.Jul 2016
Loved everything about it!
David F.Jul 2016
If looking for a place to ocean watch from the deck or window this is it. House is rather small and would not recommend more than 4 people.
JoAnne B.Jun 2016
Very relaxing. Three minute walk to the sand. Having two full bathrooms is very nice. We loved our short stay there and would return in a heartbeat. The only drawback was the inability to make the main bedroom impervious to morning sunshine. I woke up at sunrise each morning due to a high up window that has no shade or curtain. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay.
Stephanie S.May 2016
Thank you for such a beautiful, comfortable and convenient home to stay in while at Oceanside.
Kathleen L.May 2016
We loved the cabin. Incredible view. Very homey feeling with beach theme. We loved our stay and even extended a day. Had a great show with the cliff jumpers parasailing and hang gliding right in front of us. Also great watching the wind surfers. This is a great get away. My 88 year old mother loved relaxing on the deck.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this cottage. The bedrooms and bathrooms are small, but the living area has plenty of seating for a family or two couples. The two restaurants in Oceanside are both great. The Tillamook Cheese factory is well worth the trip. Oceanside is less commercial than some coastal villages, and the shoreline is hilly giving the town a feel of Italy or Greece. There was no cell service right at the cottage, but the wireless was fine, and you could get cell service just a couple miles up the road. There was also a landline. The cottage is a bit out of date (no ice-maker, dishwasher must be connected manually) but I prefer the hominess and charm of a place like this rather than a cookie-cutter condo. The view is amazing! I highly recommend!
Sheryl A.Feb 2016
While a bit dated, this property is very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great. It is missing a book to tell you how to use all the appliances and we had some problems but the Vacasa staff were really helpful.
Paul P.Jan 2016
My wife and I have been renting this place for over 20 years. If you're looking for peace and quiet and a break away from it all, this is the place! Oceanside is a sleepy town way from everything. The beach is long and stunningly beautiful. Very relaxing. Perfect for long walks on the beach or just reading a book from the balcony of this house. Full beach view from almost every room in the house. Tastefully decorated house with all the amenities you'll need.
