We liked the view of the boat yard. The open concept was nice.

The location and the house is great for a family, with plenty of space and good amenities. We have stayed many places on the Cape over the years, and this house was the best ever. We would recommend it to otherss

The house itself was nice and it was great to be right on the river. The house was well equipped but the queen bed was pretty uncomfortable.
We had one fairly major issue-- the instructions we received clearly indicated that we were to park with our car facing a wooden block at the bottom of the driveway rather than facing the trees, which we did. One day, we came to our car in the pouring rain with our two toddlers in tow to find that our car had been completely and intentionally blocked in by the neighbor. He heard us griping about it and came out yelling at us that we had parked the wrong way. We told him we had clearly been instructed to park the way we did and he continued to berate us, in front of our children. It really soured the rest of our stay. I would recommend that the owner of this rental come to a clear understanding w/ the neighbors as to how renters should park and this should be clearly communicated to the renters.
Manager response:
Our deepest apologies for the error in parking directions. We have confirmed with all parties that the correct parking position should in fact be facing the trees. We again apologize for the unfortunate experience this guest had with the neighbor. We have made sure to correct the parking directions after confirming the proper way to park. We hope our guest enjoyed their stay otherwise.

We had a fabulous stay at this darling cottage. Second time to stay there, only wish it were longer.

Excellent rental- very well equipped. Enjoyed the downstairs open airy feel.. Fun to watch the comings and goings at the marina next door

We enjoyed our stay in Chatham!

We were very pleased with the location. We enjoyed overlooking the marina and spending time on the deck. It was extremely humid, but fortunately, there was a little breeze coming off the water. The 'partial AC" is misleading because the portable AC that was in the unit did not fit into the window, and therefore, was of little use. Fans provided were inadequate.
Since this was just a weekend with family, we had a great time and venturing in town, although very warm, was good.
To us, it appeared as though the facility was still in renovation stage.
It is a great location and once the recommended maintenance issues are resolved, it is a wonderful place.
Also, the neighbors are fantastic and friendly.
Manager response:
We are sorry to see that this stay was less enjoyable due to the unusually high heat. Most homes in the area do not have air conditioning as it is not typically needed. This mobile air conditioning unit is not a window unit and can be moved from room to room as needed. The home has new fans to assist with air circulation during the warmer weather. Renovations on this home will continue after Labor Day as the HOA does not allow renovations between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Thank you!

The house has a beautiful view, it is well located and we found it to be very well decorated and clean. It was a very nice house and our stay was pleasant. The staff was very responsive to our queries.
I only have two comments. There was no AC, I was not aware of this, and sometimes it got really hot as the fans were portable and relatively small. We had to leave the windows open at night, but then were woken up by the noise from fishermen right under the house at 3:45 am.
My other issue was that some of the rooms had no curtains, this not only gave no privacy, but we were woken up rather early with the sun coming in at 5.
