You'll also find the Animas Mountain Trailhead two blocks north, the scenic shores of Vallecito Lake 20 miles east, and the winter slopes of Purgatory Resort only 25 miles north.
Built in 2014, this 1,500-square-foot home is bright, polished, and immaculately decorated - the perfect destination for two couples or a family in search of outdoor activity and a charming western community.
With hardwood floors, an open layout, and soft leather furnishings, the central living space is bright and comfortable. Grab a book from the shelves and recline in a seat by the window, or choose a DVD favorite to watch with your friends on the large flatscreen cable TV.
The full kitchen is beautifully appointed with granite countertops, pristine white cabinetry, and brand new stainless steel appliances. After a sunny morning of hiking on the Animas Mountain Trail or perusing the galleries of downtown Durango, return home to relax on the private patio, fire up the gas grill, and enjoy a casual barbecue lunch around the outdoor table.
With two bedrooms upstairs that offer views of the surrounding mountains, the Durango Deluxe Townhome can accommodate as many as five guests. The spacious master suite has a four-poster queen bed, a twin bed perfect for a small child, and an en suite full bathroom with double vanities and a closed-off water closet. Known for its laid-back western charm, Durango is a wonderful destination for families, outdoor enthusiasts, and history lovers in all seasons. Spend a scenic day on Vallecito Lake fishing and boating in the summer and ice-fishing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing in the winter. You could also head north through the San Juan Mountains to reach Purgatory, which offers 1,360 skiable acres and five terrain parks for riders of all skill levels. And if you want to take a fascinating trip back in time, wander through the Anasazi cliff dwellings of Mesa Verde National Park just 38 miles west.
Hiker or cyclist, skier or snowboarder, there's a little something for everyone at this beautiful Southwest Colorado getaway!

This house has everything you need and is in beautiful condition. Very clean and well maintained and we liked the location a lot!
Conveniently located, very well stocked, and clean. Highly recommend and would stay there again.
We had a great time staying in this well appointed home (we had everything we needed for our stay). The weather kept us indoors when we were there but there is some very inviting outdoor space to enjoy. It’s walking distance to the city market and several other establishments. Also a short drive to the downtown area or if you prefer you can take public transport which is just down the street.
Not as close to downtown as you would think. Beautiful home, fully stocked, and check out Was easier than most homes. Would definitely stay here again!
Great CLEAN home. It had everything we needed.
My husband, seven-month old son, and I loved our stay in this beautiful house. It was spotlessly clean and all updated. The kitchen was well-stocked and the living room was a comfortable place to hang out in during the evenings. We were a block away from a great coffee shop that we went to every morning, and only a few blocks away from the trail along the river and a trail that goes up into the hills. We'll definitely stay here again the next time we're in Durango!
House was great.... brand new and really clean!! We had 4 guys on a hunting trip to Durango for a week and couldn’t have asked for a better place.
We were impressed with the size, convenience and how fully stocked everything was. It was a beautiful home and we enjoyed our stay.
This place was perfect for our stay: it's a gorgeous home and the location could not have been better. We visit Durango a couple of times a year and have stayed at a variety of places including VRBOs and Hotels. This property was exceptional. A quick 5 minutes into the central part of town (drive or catch the trolley); a 2 block walk to an excellent coffee shop and also a tasty taqueria. The neighborhood is quiet. Having a nice patio to relax along with a private garage were unexpected benefits. It was just the two of us so we had lots of room to spread out! We'll be back.
This condo was just perfect for us. Over the two weeks we were there we had three sets of visitors. Everyone had enough space and the layout of the condo was perfectly designed. It is close to the center of Durango is about a block from a great hiking trail and a block from First Avenue that takes you directly to the center of the action.
Location was great and the house was very nice. Quiet area and walking distance to a few local restaurants.
This two bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome was just perfect for our family vacation to Durango. We had four people (mom, dad, two twenty-something boys) and it worked out great. Full gourmet kitchen, we never lacked for anything to make meals. The City Market grocery store was two blocks away. Many restaurants nearby, across the street from the Animas Museum, close to the city recreation center ($6.50 per day for gym, climbing wall, swimming pool, etc.) We went ziplining at Soaring Adventures. If yu know you are going to go to Soaring, try to purchase your tickets before the end of the year. They are usually available 2-for-1. Also went rafting in duckies, still fun, although the water was low. Went full day fly fishing on the San Juan River, NM, with guide from Durangler. Only an hour or so from Mesa Verde National Park. Well worth the day trip. Highly recommend this townhome.
Nice, new and clean, but beds very hard and sheets scratchy and cheap. Plastic on pillows also uncomfortable.
We apologize for this guest's experience with the bedding. Some of the mattresses are firmer than others, but they are all relatively new. We have replaced the sheets with fresh clean ones and removed the sanity liners on the pillows. We have kept them available for guests that would prefer to use them. Thank you!
The house was very clean and comfortable with every amenity we could ask for in a quiet location 5 minutes drive from the Historic Downtown.
I loved that the description is exactly what you get. The pictures do it justice. Wonderful front porch for sitting outside. Lots of comfortable beds. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. It is a great place to stay!!
Well appointed and beautiful home in downtown Durango. Everything was very comfortable. We never saw the owners even though they lived in the other half of the home. Separate entry. Completely separate space. Really was a beautiful home that was nearby everything. First rate
Everything was as pictured and described on the web site. So nice and new, close to why were in town.
Spotless and well laid out home. Attention to fine details like cinnamon, olive oil, cups in bathroom, barbecue utensils. Will come again
Loved this apartment. Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the front porch and the back porch. Even used the nice grill once when we had guests over for dinner. We went to the coffee shop down the street and to the nearby Doughworks many times.
The place is very nice, convenient location, close to amenities and a hiking trail. Would definitely stay again and already looking into coming back!
I stayed here with my husband and in-laws and we loved this home! It was a great location, the driveway was big enough for both cars, we cooked breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoyed the backyard area. If you're heading to Durango we highly recommend staying in this home. It's on the other side of town but the drive is only a few minutes and it's two blocks from the beautiful Animas River.
We also loved that there weren't a ton of checkout directions. The padlock on the door made it easy to access.
We enjoyed this town home because it was convenient to everything Durango had to offer. The unit was exceptionally clean, neighborhood quite. Enjoyed the trail behind the town home to walk up. Very roomy and nice place to stay. Couldn't believe how stocked the house was. Wash/Dryer with detergent, pantry with Coffee, sugar, spices for cooking, etc. It was very nice not to have to go out and buy the little things.
Very clean, open living space. Great layout. Wonderful to have a garage. Really nice to have the extra half bath. Beautiful landscape and appeal from the street.
The house is a short drive (~ 7-10 minutes) from the finish line of the Thirsty 13 Half Marathon and 1.6 miles (absolutely walkable) from the San Juan Brew Fest. It's a really great place to stay.
Be sure to use the City Market discount key-fob in the kitchen drawer. We used it a number of times when shopping.!
Home was VERY nicely landscaped.
Truly a great house, and one we would definitely rent again if we come back to Durango. Our boys loved the place, and set up was perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
exceptional house.new & very good furnishings.quiet. good parking.liked keyless entry. nice garage
This home is clean and updated and in a great location. Best stocked kitchen ever! Private patio- loved it!
House was very mice. Convenient to stores, Trolley. We had deer visitors and other wildlife right in town. The back patio was private with a grill a pleasant surprise. I would stay here again.
Great location. Walking distance to essentials (grocery and liquor store). Walking distance to trolley stop as well. Will definitely stay here again!
The house is clean, modern, comfortable, and has great appliances and awesome upgraded bathrooms and kitchen. The front and back patio are perfect for morning coffee, and any outside dining experience! Would definitely stay here again!
Had lots of fun. House was great! Very clean and relaxing.
Great location, beautiful, spotless. Couldn't ask for a better accommodation
Plenty of room for our family. Like new, super clean, and fluffy towels! The garage parking was a major bonus when loading and unloading the car on cool days. Even cuter than the pictures.
Beds are hard and small The rest of the house was nice
The house was comfortable, immaculate and had everything we needed! And it's right up the street from an excellent coffee shop and taqueria.
The house was gorgeous! Had everything we needed and not to far from downtown!! I look forward to coming back!
Great place to stay in Durango. Easy access to ski area and Junction Creek. Quiet.
This is our go-to for visiting our son at Ft. Lewis - it's well-equipped to make family meals, spacious, and well-appointed. The back way up the hill is a block north, and there is plenty close by (City Market, Microbrewery, coffee, fast-casual mexican, etc.).
Great place to stay in downtown Durango. Easy ride to the ski slope but very quick and easy access to the town, shops and retaurants. Look forward to staying here again.
Great stay! Great place!! Convenient location!! The place was perfect for my family of 4. The extra twin bed upstairs as well as the one downstairs were not comfortable and my 20 yr. old had to sleep on the floor one night, but other than that a great stay. I would say a smaller child would be fine, but for an adult the twin bed(s) were too hard. We walked to a Mexican (Chipotle style) restaurant and ate in the rest of the time. Kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed our family time in the den. We loved having the garage! Thanks again!
Your home was the perfect place to enjoy our wonderful time in Durango, CO! It was clean and had absolutely everything we needed.
Thank you again for letting us stay. Hopefully you will see us again soon!
The condo was easy to find and in a good location. The interior was nice and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.
We loved the rental and its location. Owners were very nice.
One of the best vacation rentals ever! Immaculate, comfortable, great location, quite and conveniently located. Will stay again! Thank you.
We were in town for a family event, and five of us shared this Town Home. It was perfect. It is in a good location--quiet and safe, and near to a good restaurant, coffee shop, grocery store, trolley line, and walking trail. Couldn't have been better!
We really enjoyed our week in Durango, the house was very quiet and well stocked.
Great place close to everything. Just as advertised.
Nice condo, neighborhood, so so! Convenient location
Excellent property. Would rent again in a minute.
This is a lovely property convenient to restaurants and shopping, one block from main road. You can walk to the grocery store and a couple of small restaurants. The house is beautiful! New, well appointed, and spotless. All appliances and fixtures are high end. Everything you need for your stay is provided and in excellent condition. We will definitely want to stay here again. The reservation and check-in processes were smooth as well. I highly recommend this property.
Our 2nd stay in as many trips. We love Durango and western Colorado. Wish we lived closer so we could make the trip more often. Lovely place and amenities.
A beautiful home to stay in. The location is great, close to trails, a coffee shop, and not too far from downtown. I had my two small children, and mother with me. She got her own room with a bathroom, and there was plenty of room for a crib in the master room, as well as an extra bed already in the room for my older son. During our three day stay we visited the four corners, Mesa verde, pagosa hot springs, and rode the Durango silvery on railroad. Such a great part of the state! And this place made our stay not just comfortable but luxurious. I would recommend to anyone!
New, clean and great location
This house was perfectly located walking distance from several restaurants, grocery stores, the trailhead at Aninas Mountain, and the giant rec center. Super cute house with ample room for three girls on a girls trip. Excellent communication from Vacasa (the leasing company) regarding check-in, etc. Very clean with a well-stocked kitchen. Great visit to Durango!
We loved this property--new, clean, and conveniently located. Lots of privacy even though it's attached to another town home. Trolley stop near by. Walking distance to Animas River. Beds were quite hard, but everything else was perfect. We would stay here again!
We had an amazing stay. We have never stayed in a cleaner unit with such a well stocked kitchen. The unit was spotless, wow! The cleanliness, attention to detail and landscaping were far above what we usually find in rental units. I would love to stay here again. It was also a great location. By coincidence, we met the owners who were friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay.
beautiful property, nice yard, fully equipped kitchen. very clean
Super nice, new townhouse on north side of town. Great since you can walk to several stores, shops, coffee house a block away, City Market and liquor store a block away as well. Easy access to all of Durango. The house is super clean, modern, great kitchen for cooking, comfortable beds and furnishings.
A great place to stay, the Townhouse had everything we needed with plenty of room!!
