Only down side: we didn't realize until last minute that only residents were allowed to launch boats...

We tried to re-book this home while we were there and the price went up almost $2000!!! I even called the main office in Portland to make sure there had not been some sort of mistake. We have loved staying there and the house is perfect for our family, but there is no way we can justify paying such an increase. We regret that we will be looking for other places that are more in keeping with the going rates at PML.

A group of 9 of us stayed at this Lake House and it fit all of us just fine. The private dock on the lake was great for hanging out. The kitchen was large for multiple chefs! Everything was clearly labeled so it was easy to find things. The tub in the master bedroom was insane. The proximity to Yosemite made it very convenient. Overall had a great stay and would book this place again.

We spent a couple of nights at the house. It has a fabulous location, is spacious and the private little dock is awesome for swimming and fishing off of. Mainly, the negatives are around the dated nature of the bedrooms and bathrooms which really detract from the otherwise attractiveness of the house. When you add in the fees to the rental, it was over $800/night and for that I expected a little bit nicer (not so 70's). We still had a good time. I think it just depends on what you are looking for. If it were to be updated would definitely rent it again.

Property was well stocked needs a cleaning. Great location.

    Manager Response:

All of our homes will be receiving a thorough deep cleaning after the busy summer season. In the meantime, we do have housekeeping coming between each reservation to do a complete clean of the home. Thank you!

Needs some T.LC. to be worth the money. It is worn out in many areas but has some up grades. I would only stay again if the items I listed in the
SURVEY REQUEST FROM VACASA were addressed. We all have our own expectations so this is just one renters opinion.

The property was perfect for the lake. We really enjoyed it! It was also close to Yosemite!!

This house is amazing and is very spacious. The location is ideal - close to the marina, had our own dock so we could swim, fish and hang out on our property. The fishing right off the dock was actually perfect - the kids had a blast catching plenty of fish. Tons of room to hand out by the water - loved the fire pit and lights down by the water.
The kitchen was amazing with all new appliances - we cooked every meal at the house. The bbq on the deck was great too. Everything was clean and all beds were comfortable. They had amazing TV's so the kids could watch movies at night. They also had plenty of games and the air hockey table was a huge hit. We were extremely happy with this house and location. One of our favorite trips to date! Pine Mountain Lake is gorgeous.

This house was beautiful. Sitting outside with a view of the lake's was very pretty and at night very pretty with the lights across the lake. It was nice having so much room. It even somehow felt a bit cozy even though it was big. What we enjoyed was the patio area that had room for a lot of people to hang out and play games. The disappointments were that the refrigerator and freezer did not cool properly and the outside porches were unswept and they would have been very nice with just a little more basic clean up and maintenance.

    Manager Response:

We are glad to see this guest experienced so many positives during their stay! Our maintenance tech did stop by the house to inspect the fridge and freezer and found both to be working. Due to the amount of food placed in the refrigerator it would take more time to cool it all down. The deck gets blown off between each guest, but there is a large pine tree that drops needles frequently that overhangs the deck. Thank you!

Nice, spacious home, and well equipped. Lots of room to spread out, good views, and a great kitchen. Access to some sort of water craft would have been nice, considering it's a lakefront property. Overall, a nice spot for your Groveland get away

This is a gated community on a lovely lake that is not open to the public. We went in September and it was quiet and peaceful, so i can't say how it would be on a busy summer weekend. We rented a boat for fishing (not great fishing), but still fun just tooling around. Super close to Yosemite. Groveland has seen better days - seems a bit less vibrant than it once was, but there are a few cool spots. The house is huge. Super clean and comfortable beds. The kitchen and main family room are great. The game room downstairs is great. There are no kayaks or canoes or any water toys available but you can rent those things at the marina. For the price, you would expect more updated bathrooms and sturdier, cleaner decks, stairs, dock. If the price was reduced by $100 per night I would think about renting again it as is. Improve the broken things and throw in some kayaks and I would go again.

This house is in a great location but has fallen into disrepair and was not clean when we arrived. The carpets in the bedrooms are heavily stained, the bedding is old and torn, there are no dish towels in the kitchen, the kitchen floor was dirty and sticky, and there was moldy bread and old food left behind. This could be a great house. It's on a pretty lake and convenient to Yosemite. However, given how expensive and dirty it is, No one should rent this house until it has been cleaned and the carpets replaced.

    Manager Response:

We are disappointed to read about this experience. The Property Manager and owner will make sure enough towels are provided, and housekeeping has undergone more thorough training. Thank you!
