This charming beachfront Oceanside vacation rental has a wraparound deck facing the sand, wide windows overlooking the Pacific, and a cozy wood-burning fireplace perfect for anytime of year! Recently remodeled, guests can enjoy heated tile floors as well as an updated kitchen and bathrooms.
The cottage is right on the beautiful stretch of sandy beach in Oceanside, which is a wonderfully uncrowded coastal town tucked away from all the bustle of Highway 101. Despite its peaceful "get-away-from-it-all" atmosphere, the town still offers a few fantastic local cafes and restaurants, all within mere blocks of your front door. This home sits right on the sand near beautiful Maxwell Mountain and across from the spectacular Three Rocks National Wildlife Refuge.
The home sits on a short cliff, giving it wonderful views while still only a short flat walk to the public beach access just two houses down. With its open layout, the cottage makes the most of its amazing views of the Pacific. Watch the waves roll in as you curl up by the fire in the living room, or take in a movie on the cable TV with a DVD player.
The eat-in kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need to prepare meals, from the Jenn-Air range to a dishwasher for easy cleanup. The cabinets are full of pots and pans, baking dishes, serveware, wine glasses, and dinnerware for eight guests. Small appliances like a blender and electric mixer make this kitchen the perfect spot to try out a new recipe.
At bedtime, choose from three charmingly furnished bedrooms. The lower level has a master bedroom with queen bed, and the full bath just outside its door has a tub/shower combo.
Upstairs, the second bedroom has a queen bed and a spacious window seat overlooking the southern shoreline.
The third bedroom has two full-size beds tucked under a cozy sloping ceiling. Each upstairs bedroom includes an en-suite pedestal sink for guests' convenience, and at the bottom of the staircase is a second full bath with walk-in shower. Altogether, the home sleeps eight guests.
In the summer, head out to the large wraparound deck for a delightfully lazy afternoon with a good book. Take in a breathtaking sunset or watch for whales, which are known to pass by this section of the Coast during their yearly migrations. The Three Arch Rocks Wildlife Refuge keeps the sky filled with thousands of graceful seabirds, and you can even keep an eye on children and teens playing on the beach below as you relax on the deck.
Wintertime brings sensational storm watching and one of the most peaceful beaches you'll ever encounter; just zip up your jacket and bring along a pail for the gorgeous seashells you'll have all to yourself.
The surrounding area is rich with natural beauty and often uncrowded, although Oceanside sits along the Three Capes Scenic Loop driving tour. Just to the north sits Cape Meares with its historic lighthouse, and to the south await the lovely towns of Netarts and Pacific City. Stop at the award-winning Pelican Pub and Brewery before climbing the dunes at Cape Kiwanda.
Oceanside herself offers the excellent Brewin' in the Wind coffeehouse and seasonal dishes at Roseanna's Cafe. There are nearly endless hikes in the surrounding state parks, chances to try your hand at clamming, crabbing, or fishing for steelhead and salmon in the nearby bays and rivers, and of course the famous cheese factory with its wonderful samples in Tillamook, just twenty minutes away. There are two supermarkets there for groceries as well.
Discover the true meaning of peace and quiet, or bring along your surfboard and hang glider for a rollicking good time. Whatever your ideal coastal vacation entails, this cozy oceanfront Northern Oregon Coast vacation cottage makes a wonderful home away from home!
*Cellphone service is spotty in Oceanside - it is suggested that all phone calls and text messages be made in Netarts, three miles away* A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

It was an unusual time to visit the coast but what better place to be? To be socially isolated on the deck with the wildlife sanctuary, ocean and beach as entertainment. The house was very comfortable and we felt pampered with heated floors and a gas fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pans. The newly installed electric shades were indispensable in late afternoon sunshine. 2 blocks down the hill to the beach access was easy. We will definitely want to return. The views were stunning.
Janet S.Mar 2020
The home was very well outfitted. Wifi was great, and the house is perched over an amazingly beautiful beach in a very pleasant small community. Kitchen was friendly to cooking- W/D right off the kitchen, was convenient. Heated floors, and updated home.
Very comfortable. Terrific place to relax.
JP M.Feb 2020
Everything met expectations. As described and some.
Elisha S.Feb 2020
The place was SO clean and well appointed. The gas fireplace and in-floor took the chill off of our February visit and spoiled us. The unobstructed view of the beach made us feel like the beach was ours and ours alone. We had a fabulous stay.
The upstairs accommodations are fine, but visitors staying up there should be prepared to traverse a flight of stairs every time they need to use the bathroom.
Chris K.Feb 2020
Our family of four spent two nights here. Awesome view, great location and nice amenities. We especially enjoyed the gas fireplace which self regulated its temperature. It feels private even though there are houses on both sides. We are all looking forward to returning.
Wendy F.Dec 2019
The house is cute with a well stocked kitchen. The view from the main room is amazing and the beach access is very close to the house.
George D.Dec 2019
We stayed here many years ago and loved the lace. The view out the front window mad it seem like you were right on the ocean.
They have made it even better. A lot of renovations have made it emmaculate and welcoming.
We love agate hunting here. We think it is the best beach on the coast.
It was my wife's favorite place to stay on the beach and I don't think we will be able to stay away as long again.
Stop at Rosanna's cafe for one of the finest restaurants on the beach. The Blue Agate is a great lunchspot. Try their fish tacos or fish and chips. We hit fantastic weather but there is no better place to watch stormy weather
Julie M.Dec 2019
We really enjoyed our stay at this beach home. The location was perfect! Great view of the ocean and beach. Short walk to public access to the beach. We had a long 3.6 mile walk along the beach. We enjoyed watching surfers and people fishing along the coast.
The house itself has been remodeled beautifully. It is comfortable and has just about everything you need. We knew going in that there would be stairs from all bedrooms to the bathrooms, so it wasn’t a surprise. Our family of 5 managed fine with the stairs but it may be a concern for some. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking/baking utensils, although I could not find the coffee grinder. But that was ok, we just walked up to one of three local cafes in the morning for coffee. (Always like to support local businesses!) I planned to make a turkey pot pie (since it was the day after Thanksgiving). When I got to the house was worried they wouldn’t have a pie plate or rolling pin, but they had it all! I brought my own ingredients and all went well with pie making :). I even made waffles one morning as there was a waffle iron that worked great! The house also was stocked with board games, books, magazines. They had a smart TV with Netflix, Prime Video, etc. We could not get the cable to work though.
The community itself is small with no shops, a few cafes/Inn’s. The closest grocery is about 2 miles up the road at Netarts. The large(r) town of Tillamook is just a short 18 minute drive.
We would definitely stay here again!
Molly H.Nov 2019
Our stay couldn’t have been better! The home was perfect for our small group, the beds were comfy, the kitchen well stocked, furniture was comfortable, everything was new and lovely!! We spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the beach and all the activity!! Oceanside has to be one of Oregon’s best kept secrets!!
Janet H.Sep 2019
This was without a doubt the best home we have ever rented. The view from the main living area/kitchen was gorgeous. The house was lovely, super clean, renovated, very well stocked kitchen with (regard to cookware, appliances, basic needs: olive oil, spices, etc). Beds and linens were nice and really comfortable.
Very short walk to a great, uncrowded beach where you could take very long walks on fine sand. There’s a short tunnel close to the house that goes through to another beautiful and interesting beach.
Received very prompt and professional service when we realized we needed gas for the grill.
We will be back!!
Melissa P.Aug 2019
Overlooks the beach with comfortable chairs. Good kitchen. Great for a family. Recently remodeled and it looks amazing!
Charlotte B.Aug 2019
We have a lot of kids and we were all so comfortable in this house. There are extra futons and an extra sleeping pad and extra bedding. The location is unbeatable. The new renovations are wonderful. The puzzles and games supplied were fun.
Our only complaint was that, without any window coverings downstairs, the whole downstairs was very hot around dinner time. We had to move the chairs into the entryway of the house (in the shade) so we were cool enough to play games after dinner. The upstairs rooms are also very hot in the evening as we were trying to fall asleep. I wish they had more fans to bring cool air in those upper rooms.
Nathaniel S.Jul 2019
Ideal location on the beach with an unbelievable view. We loved taking the short walk to the tidal pools and playing in the waves. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable and had the best equipped kitchen of any rental we’ve ever had. Highly recommend.
Hazel O.Jul 2019
It has an awesome view, no houses to block the view. Just a short walk to the sand and water.
Marybeth A.Nov 2018
This cute cottage had a small but well-equipped kitchen. A deck and large picture windows captured the view of Three Arches. The beachfront house is situated on a small (20 feet or so) cliff just above the sandy beach. Access to beach is via Oceanside Beach, about 150 yards of easy walking from the house. The width of the beach varied widely -- 10 yards to several hundred -- from high tide to low, but some beach is always visible. The tunnel at end of beach leads to a black rock beach, which was also spectacular at low tide.
Two restaurants are an easy walk from the house, but plan to get groceries in Tillamook. Parking is tight, but we were fine with one vehicle.
The house was spotless, with good appliances and comfortable beds. The layout is a little quirky. Kitchen, living area and two bathrooms -- one with shower and one with deep tub/shower -- are on floor 1, the main bedroom with beach view is on floor 1.5, and two bedrooms with sinks but no bath are on floor 2. It was a perfect size for 4 adults and could be comfy for up to 6 adults.
All in all, a great stay.
Ruth G.Nov 2018
Good view from deck & access to beach
Susan E.Oct 2018
We loved the spaciousness, the well-outfitted kitchen where a group can cook together, the light flooding in, the great deck with terrific view, comfortable beds and wonderfully soft bedding. A great place to celebrate a 71st birthday with adult sons. We'll be back with more family members.
Ken B.Sep 2018
Everything about it the view the decor the amenities
Jake D.Sep 2018
Wonderful house with a great location right on the beach. This house is nicely furnished and has everything you need for a stay at the coast!
Elizabeth A.Aug 2018
The area is wonderful... The house has a wonderful kitchen, nice bedrooms & all of the amenities. On the beach with a fantastic fireplace. Our family so much enjoyed our vacation.
Robert G.Aug 2018
Beautiful view!!!! Great home. Loved it!
Shonda K.Aug 2018
Well stocked and very comfortable. Loved it.
Becky G.Jul 2018
Tami M.Jul 2018
Loved how spacious the house felt. The master bedroom was super bright and cheery, even on a cloudy day. Beach was easy to access and the house was set up with everything we needed! Fireplace and TV were a little tricky to figure out - but otherwise, the place was great. Would definitely rent again.
Laura B.Jul 2018
You cannot beat this location. The view was stunning, and was super close to the beach entrance. 2 downsides to the house-
It was not very clean when we arrived (Sand on floor, and grungy carpet) and the thermostat was on a program to turn down to 60 degrees in the middle of the night. Every single night at 2am we woke up freezing and had to get out of bed to turn it back up. Other than that- loved it!
We have followed-up with housekeeping, and the owner has turned off the thermostat programming. Thank you!
Rachael B.Jul 2018
Elizabeth D.Jun 2018
The best week at the beach! Lots of tidepools
Craig L.Jun 2018
The view, the view, and the view. We've stayed many places along the Oregon Coast. This was by far the best. Fresh air and seclusion. Loved it all.
Ryan T.Jun 2018
So happy I managed to find this place. This is a perfect spot in a quiet area right along the Pacific shoreline. It provides a cozy cottage-type feel with a fully equipped kitchen, nice decor and plenty of firewood for the fireplace. Best part is the view from the deck that overlooks the ocean. Be sure to use the binoculars that they provide to see sea lions riding the waves and whales as well. Wish we could've stayed longer.
Debbie A.May 2018
Ocean view from master bedroom, kitchen, living room, balcony!!!! The best place I ever stayed all the amenities nice caves to explore nearby a parasailing event that was awesome I will definitely stay at Oceanside Cottage again!!!
Amy W.Apr 2018
My family loved this cozy house in the little town of Oceanside. It has a view you truly can't beat on a cliff right above the beach and spent a lot of time gazing out the many windows. The fireplace was a nice touch during a stormy night as well. Easy access to the beach was just a short stroll away. There were a couple of house maintenance issues, but Vacasa sent out someone to fix them within a few hours, and he mentioned the owners were about to upgrade the flooring and cabinets which will make the house even nicer. We plan to return!
Marjorie K.Mar 2018
We stayed at this rental for 6 days and there was six of us which was about the right number. There were beds enough for Eight but that would have been a little crowded. It was a delightful place and the view was spectacular The kitchen was well stocked with all the things we needed to cook, etc. The one lacking was cell coverage at the Cottage but you just had to go a short distance down the road to obtain it. We were able to send emails and be contacted that way.
Clifford B.Jan 2018
Wonderful place. Wonderful Village.
Ellen T.Nov 2017
Great place to stay. Roomy and right on the beach. very comfortable
Eric B.Nov 2017
There are a lot of good views on the coast, but there are none better than here. You feel like you are on the water. There are long views accross a curving coast line to your left as well as crashing waves along a cliff wall to your right. Not to mention the "haystack" rocks just offshore. Simply amazing with wide open sunset views.
The house is comfortable and well appointed. Nothing fancy, but all practical and usable. My kids (15, 13, 9) and I loved it and all agreed we would definitely go back.
I intended to bring food for the whole trip so we never had to leave, but I left one bag in my kitchen so we ended up heading to the Tillamook Safeway which was only 15 minutes or so away so that was not a problem.
The house is essentially at the end of the road so there is essentially no traffic. The only thing we heard from outside the entire time was the constant roar of the ocean waves.
The beach is nics and sandy and good for kite flying too, which we did.
I did notice that there is an advisory stating the that the clams in the area are toxic so clamming here is not an option.
If you stay here, look out for Redbeard the seagull. We named it that because it walked the plank (the deck railing) and had a red "goatee" on his beak. We never fed him, but I think someone has in the past as he spent most of his day with us.
Dick S.Oct 2017
We were surprised how nice it was when we first walked in. Enjoyed the art and decor items. Thermostat shows ceilsius and was not helpful to we farenheiters.
Lavern M.Oct 2017
Amazing all that was provided. The instructions and labels ere great
Richard S.Sep 2017
Very nice cottage overlooking the beach at Oceanside.
Gordon A.Sep 2017
What a great view, right on the ocean front. The home was clean and well stocked with the basic needs. It was clean and comfortable. We would stay again next time we're vacationing in Oceanside. Highly recommended.
Bob & Rosemary H.Sep 2017
Monica D.Aug 2017
Super well appointed. Exceeded our expectations. Best view and ocean sound. Will return asap!!!! Love this amazing town and cottage
Sharlene M.Jul 2017
Cute, comfortable house! We had plenty of room for 5 adults & 3 children. Spectacular view! Good pair of binoculars for us to watch seals & sea lions playing in the water by the rocks. A cute little tunnel/cave to walk through on the beach. It was so nice not to climb down steep, rickety stairs to the beach. Easy access. Can't comment on the kitchen...we don't cook on vacation. :) Roseanna's Café was very good....Blue Agate not really. A couple of reviews said the street was too narrow to pass through with cars parked on sides of street. Didn't see a problem with that at all. If you are there at the first of the week, don't get scared if, at around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, you think a car has hit the house. It's just the garbage pickup. We knew they were coming & went right back to sleep. No cell service in Oceanside, but the house had wifi & we could facetime. Tillamook is 10 miles, Seaside 45 miles, Lincoln City about the same. Lots to do. We had so much fun. What a great experience!
Linnea R.Jul 2017
Enjoyed our stay
Karen B.Jul 2017
We loved our stay here! I would go again and would love to take my grandchildren here for a visit. Very comfortable.
Shirley F.May 2017
We stayed for a week and it was cold and rainy most of the time. We put a lot of miles on our rental car seeing the area, nice place to come home too. Staff was Jonny on the spot replacing a propane tank for grilling. I can see how it might get warm in the house in warmer weather but with that view grab a cold one and enjoy.
Joe B.May 2017
The house needs some TLC, but is still a great place to stay.
D A.Apr 2017
The cottage was perfect. Great views.
Jessi C.Apr 2017
We stayed at this home during our kids Spring Break. Location can't be beat. It is a short walk down to the beach. The view from the balcony, master bedroom and back of the home is amazing. We cooked all our meals at home, everyone slept well and comfortably and we all had a great time!
Elissa E.Apr 2017
If you want a spacious, fancy, modern house, this isn't the one for you. If you want an adorable cottage with the best ocean view EVER, and very comfy beds and couches for lounging, this is the perfect spot. Can't beat the view. We'd come back in a heartbeat. Tub in one of the bathrooms doesn't drain well and the shower nozzle was a little sad. Parking is a challenge for two vehicles, especially with such a narrow road and the neighbors parking directly across the street nearly made it impossible for vehicles to drive through on the road. But we enjoyed every minute of our stay and would recommend the place to ocean view lovers everywhere!
Shelly G.Feb 2017
I consider myself a connoisseur of beach rentals, and this one met all my requirements! The view of the beach, waves, and rocks of Oceanside is the absolute best. Between the view, the agate hunting and tide pool wading, we were in heaven. It's small, but well organized to provide private spaces and gathering space.
Ralph S.Nov 2016
If what you want is white sand and lots of dining options - this is not for you. If you want a quiet cottage by the sea, with the ocean in your bedroom and spectacular sunrises and sunsets you see while you lounge on the deck with coffee or wine in hand, after preparing a meal and dining inside or on the deck, this is for you. The little cafe is just yards away if you want to go out, with the same stunning views. There are lots of options for day trips - and groceries are readily available in Tillamook just 20 minutes away, as well as a few more dining options. Internet and TV in the cozy living area is there for other entertainment. It is a special place for a couple looking for a seaside hideout or a large family looking for fun!
Kathy H.Nov 2016
We totally enjoyed out stay here. The view of the ocean and all the people walking on the beach was glorious! Thank you for a wonderful long weekend.
Ellen T.Oct 2016
The only thing that didn'the work was the disposal. The overall experience was wonderful, and I have stayed here repeatedly and I highly recommend this rental.
The Property Manager has inspected the garbage disposal and found it to be working perfectly. We believe the reset button must have accidentally been hit. Thanks!
Kristin E.Oct 2016
We wanted a quiet area with interesting geographical features on the coast but not entirely cut off from civilization. This cozy beach cottage was perfect and exceeded our expectations in many ways.
Stephen W.Oct 2016
This house on the beach in Oceanside worked perfectly for us. Plenty of room for 5 adults, unobstructed views of the beach and ocean, well equipped for cooking, great bird watching, whale searching and watching, seals and sea lions on Three Arch Rocks. A quiet community off the beaten path with an excellent restaurant, Roseanna's.
David W.Sep 2016
Nancy T.Sep 2016
Great location, exceptional ocean view, well-equipped, needs some minor maintenance.
Dorothy F.Sep 2016
This is a lovely, cozy home!!! Wonderful views, great beachy furnishings, and well-stocked kitchen. Be aware that all bedrooms have stairs (many or few) leading to them, and there are stairs between all bedrooms and bathrooms. This would only be an issue if someone has issues with stairs, but is good to know. We had a wonderful time!!!!
Mary T.Aug 2016
I had a great time with my family. I would say it's probably not the best place to bring a very young child, but they did have baby gates and a high chair. The house was clean with easy access to the beach. I would stay there again.
David I.Jul 2016
We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed the house and the area. The house is very clean and had everything necessary. The beach it's on is clean, large and great for walking and beach combing. The house overlooks the beach with large windows and a deck.
There are only two restaurants in the small town which we didn't try because we cooked when we were there. However, there is another town 7 miles away with more choices. We also enjoyed exploring further up the coast and drove to Cannon Beach and that area for one of the days. It's a great drive with lots of wonderful scenery. The area is sooo gorgeous! Loved our time in Oceanside!
Matt S.Jul 2016
We loved our stay in Oceanside. The house was very comfortable and provided all that we needed for a great vacation.
Joni E.Jun 2016
Beautiful, peaceful & relaxing. Spent some quality time & made some wonderful memories with my granddaughter. We plan on coming back next year.
Elizabeth B.Jun 2016
It's a beautiful, well maintained, clean cottage in a great location. The beds and linens were incredibly and unexpectedly comfortable -- I don't think we've ever rented a property with such nice accommodations!
The only thing that gave me pause was the baby gate on the second floor window. At first I thought the window was broken, and the baby gate was there temporarily. But actually the windows folded up and the baby gate was there to prevent kids from falling out. The pictures on Vacasa made it seem like a safe nook for reading and peering out into the ocean, but it made me very uncomfortable with my young children.
There were no screens on the windows upstairs, either, and it got exceedingly hot especially with no A/C. We kept the windows open to get some cooler air in, but I was terrified the kids would open the windows further and fall out. There were no screens, and we all ended up with a bunch of mosquito bites.
Cynthia C.Jun 2016
Loved this place. We will definitely be back.
Joe B.May 2016
This is the single best rental house in Oceanside.
SUSAN B.May 2016
Our group of three couples spent two nights in early May. A coastal heatwave with brilliant sunshine and temperatures in the low 80's! The cottage is very charming, quirky but clean, well appointed and pretty. There was lots of space in the main living areas for us to spread out and the two bathrooms were also spacious and very functional. Our only issue was with the two tiny upstairs bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was simple and pretty. However, due to lack of ventilation the rooms were stifling and stayed that way almost all night. There was also no view from either room, even though dormers would have provided both amazing ocean views and badly needed fresh sea air. Seems like a no brainer in a house right on the beach?
Wayne G.Apr 2016
Love the location.
Kit V.Apr 2016
Jennifer P.Apr 2016
Wonderful place to stay
Samantha H.Apr 2016
This house is all about the view. We lived staying there and when we weren't on the beach we stared at it! Basic clean house with most of what you need. Bring some Tupperware and beach towels and you will be good. Our kids flew kites and found tons of large sand dollars. Wonderful time!
Johan G.Mar 2016
Amazing views of the ocean and treasures were found on the beach. We didn't want to leave.
Jeff W.Mar 2016
We all enjoyed our stay at this nice home with wonderful location----incredible views of offshore sea stacks, the sound of the surf just below you, and easy access to a lovely and interesting stretch of beach. Oceanside is a wonderful place, quiet and much less developed than many places on the coast. It is like going back in time. Our stay was in March and we say whales from the deck 2 of the 3 days, as well as sea lions on the rocks. Would love to stay here again.
Paul B.Feb 2016
All in all a great property. Your house cleaners need to work on a few items. Loved the access to beach.
Brenda M.Jan 2016
We loved this true 'cottage on the ocean', it is very comfortable, we LOVED the fire place and the view is mesmerizing! I wish I had a novel to write, this would be the place to do it! And Oceanside is a beautiful little cove, a hidden gem...we didn.t want to leave!
Lisa R.Dec 2015
We love love loved it here and would return! Thank you for everything,
Diana S.Sep 2015
We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at your beach house. The only thing lacking for us was more time there ~ so stay longer if you can! The view is the best there is. The house is comfortable and has everything you might need. Our ages range from 4 to 66 and it could not have been any nicer for all of us. Just perfect!
John V.Sep 2015
We stayed with 3 of our adult children with their spouses. The place was roomy, clean, great kitchen and dining area, bedding and supplies excellent. And the view spectacular. We will return someday.
Kathy V.Aug 2015
The house was great for a week at the beach. The views are truly outstanding--directly on the ocean with a great view of Three Arch Rocks The town is great and a good starting off place to explore the coast further.
Liz S.Jul 2015
This was the perfect spot for us. Beautiful vistas in every direction. Many hiking spots in the area. We didn't stay long enough!
Ellen T.May 2015
I was totally satisfied and delighted with our stay for my birthday coast trip. It was better the second time. Improvements were made where needed and I felt right at home.
Joe B.Apr 2015
We love Oceanside, have stayed there many times on other properties. This house was great for the 8 of us. The best part of this house is most definitely the deck. If you don't that view, then what the heck are you doing in Oceanside?
Greg E.Jan 2015
We stayed in Oceanside for two nights in January 2015. The house was very clean and well-appointed with a great deck overlooking spectacular rocks jutting out of the ocean. One of my companions greatly appreciated the new toothbrushes left over the bathroom sink. Securing the house and checking in was an easy process. Communications from the management company were timely and detailed. Oceanside itself, is a quiet town so if you are interested in variety of food, drink, or activities, Tillamook and other larger coastal towns are a short distance away.
Kathleen G.Dec 2014
The home and location were absolutely perfect!
Ellen T.Nov 2014
Very comfortable, lots of space, ideal oceanside location. I've stayed in Oceanside at the Oceanside Inn for 30+ years and when I can afford it, I'll choose here. My sons , grandson and I released their father's ashes off a big rock at low tide over the ocean. Grandpa Gary's last wish. The stay was a perfect home away from home to be together and share this most precious moment.
Jaclyn S.Jun 2014
This was a wonderful house. Everything we needed, we found. There were even beach toys and a kite in the garage. The kitchen was very well stocked. The view was fantastic and its just a short walk to the public beach access. The beds were comfortable. It has many board games and books provided for guests to use while staying. There was also a great pair of binoculars to use for whale watching. The upstairs stayed warmer than downstairs, so we usually left the upstairs windows open to keep it cool. We really enjoyed our stay at this house.
We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay in Oceanside. This beautiful oceanfront home can't be beat. The view is amazing and all the touches the owners have provided like the beach toys and binoculars for ocean gazing make it so welcoming. We hope you'll visit again.
Robert D.May 2014
Had a great time with friends, saw whales and love this property.
Florin D.Apr 2014
We loved the views from the living room and master bedroom. Very close to the beach access.
Sung K.Apr 2014
Our stay was great! The place was clean, cute and cozy. The beds were VERY comfy and the kitchen was stocked well (we found everything we needed). The views are amazing. The perfect get away.
*Most of us had AT&T and none of us had phone reception the whole time we were in town, but the place had wifi, which was enough for us. :D
Thanks for your review! Great tip for those with AT&T and want to unplug from the phone for a weekend.
Diane P.Mar 2014
This house is amazing, so cute and comfortable. The beds are so comfortable, you just want to stay in bed. Force yourself to get up, there's too much to see and do. This house provides just about everything you'll need for a great vacation. They say no pets, but you'll be greeted by the friendliest cat you ever met. Once he checks you out he'll be on his way. Definitely a great place.
Thank you for your great review. It sounds like you had a wonderful time and also had the chance to meet the neighborhood cat. Thanks again.(Please Note: No pets are allowed in this home)
Francis R.Nov 2013
We were in town for a wedding and had a wonderful stay. The house was in a great location, right on the beach, and the house was clean and comfortable.
Nancy J.Sep 2013
The location was outstanding, and the house was very pleasant.
Ben and Jill L.Jun 2013
We really liked this place, we weren't ready to leave when our time ended and will be sure to keep this in mind when we are in Oregon again.
Thank you for your review, we look forward to your return!
Sue S.May 2013
This getaway was just what we needed! Laid-back and healing. The sounds of the lapping waves eased all tensions. The cottage was homey enough to seem like we'd been there before. Oregon and this experience will never be forgotten!
Thank you for your review! We are glad we were able to help you find the perfect home away from home and we hope you come back soon!

It is expensive for us seniors on S.S. and a small pension.
Thank you for your review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay - we do try to keep the prices competitive and we have a range of homes available to suit all budgets. We also vary the pricing based on the time of the year so that people that have more flexible schedules can save a bit by staying midweek or in the off peak season. Thanks again and we look forward to having you back again!

The property is older and the cabinetry etc a little dated, but the lovely decor and the beautiful location and view more than make up for those small shortcomings. Everything you can possibly think of has been provided. You'll love your stay here!
