Ski-in/ski-out mountainview condo w/private gondola, shared pool, hot tub & gym!

Come play in Steamboat Resort's bountiful recreation and world-class powder on a stay at this modern two-bedroom condo. With access to community amenities, including a fitness center, a heated outdoor pool, a fitness center, a hot tub, and even a gondola that will deliver you to the base of the mountain, it has all the makings for an unforgettable mountainside vacation!

Belonging to the Trailhead Lodge, a sprawling complex with resort amenities, this condo gives you plenty of options, whether your interests lie in exploring the nearby slopes or relaxing at home. You'll also be only a short drive away from tennis courts, Hollywood movies at Wildhorse Stadium Cinemas, delicious restaurants, and the City Market shopping center. Please note that this building does not have an elevator and as this rental is located on the third floor, it is not recommended for guests with mobility issues.

This third-floor condo has an inviting interior with all the home essentials to keep you comfortable on a break from the slopes. Catch a mid-day nap on either of two couches in the living area or watch a favorite show on the room's cable- and DVD-equipped television. Just beyond your doors sit a variety of Trailhead Lodge amenities, so get out and explore your surroundings!

The community amenities give you options including soothing aching muscles with a dip in the shared hot tub, swimming laps in the heated pool, or pumping some iron in the fitness center. You could also challenge your group to a fun tournament on the pool and foosball tables in the lodge's family-friendly game room.

Other amenities include a private washer/dryer, a local bus route just outside, community gas grills, and a community outdoor fireplace.

When it's time to eat, you'll have all the necessary cooking equipment for whipping up homemade meals in the full kitchen. Eat together with your group at the four-seat breakfast bar, which is also a great place to lay out snacks. Head onto the outdoor deck for al fresco dining with a wonderful view of Mt Werner.

At the end of an action-packed day, retire for restful sleep in either of two bedrooms. The master suite contains a queen-size bed while the second bedroom has two twin-size beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. The living area's sofabed adds space for the final two guests in your group so a total of six travelers can stay here. You'll also find two full bathrooms, both with combination shower/tubs.

In the morning, wake with a fresh cup of coffee from the coffeemaker or tea from the kettle, then start planning a new day of adventures. You'll certainly want to spend as much time as possible at Steamboat Resort, which is conveniently accessed via the lodge's private gondola that will transport you directly to the ski lifts.

But you'll also find plenty of off-mountain fun just a short drive away. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate a picturesque hike to cascading Fish Creek Falls (the trailhead begins four miles north) or a tranquil walk along the Yampa River at Yampa River Botanic Park (about two-and-a-half miles north).

You could also head about three miles northwest in Steamboat Springs' quaint downtown to learn how its early settlers lived at The Tread of Pioneers Museum, feast on a hearty bison burger washed down with a Colorado microbrew at Old Town Pub & Restaurant, or browse handblown glass works of art at Sand Gallery. Brought along kids? They'll adore a day of bumper tube fun at the Howelsen Ice Arena (three miles northwest).

Epic days on the mountain slopes and trails or relaxing with top-notch community amenities - you decide how you want to spend a memorable Colorado getaway at this great Steamboat Springs condo. Book it today!

It is a good location and loved being able to use the recreational facilities, hot tub and the pool at the Wildhorse. We are a family of 4 and it was ok for sleeping but tight to hang out in. If you are in Steamboat for an active vacation and don't need to spend a lot of time in the condo and don't want to pay a lot, then this could be a good place for you.

This is a very spacious condo with great set up for larger family. A few issues that need to be addressed. To have a balcony that overlooks the mountains and put zero furniture out there for guests to enjoy was really disappointing. "Head onto the outdoor deck for al fresco dining with a wonderful view of Mt Werner. " was false advertising. I wound up buying lawn chairs so my Mom could sit out and enjoy the view. Also advertised were " community gas grills" which I expected to be outside of building... all we saw were charcoal grills. Maybe they were over by pool but that would have been incredibly inconvenient to make dinner. Finally, it was nearly impossible to use the key to enter the building. You literally had to jiggle it just right (and even then it was difficult). This needs to be fixed. My mother (who is 75) was afraid to go out while I was gone for fear she wouldn't be able to get back in. I might have missed (though have reviewed) but nowhere does it say this is a 3 flight walk up. Again, this is important info. I brought my 75 year old parents to treat them to a nice Steamboat getaway and never would have booked this condo had I known this. We absolutely love Steamboat and visit couple times a summer. This is in good central location and if issues above addressed would make better place to stay. It is BIG condo which is huge plus. We were so busy we never used pool etc. but was also not clear about how to access or if it was the pool way across parking lot in other complex.

    Manager Response:

We apologize for any difficulties this guest experienced with their stay. We will reach out to the owner about providing patio furniture. Any discrepancies in the listing will be fixed so as not to cause any guest disappointment. We have asked the HOA to address the door lock issue. Thank you!
