Located right in Pacific City, this rental allows guests to walk to the beach and the south side of Cape Kiwanda. Grocery shopping and dining are also within walking distance, and Bob Straub State Park and Nestucca Bay National Wildlife Refuge are within eight miles away.

The interior of this rental is lovely, with dark wood floors, white walls, and lots of windows, giving it a bright atmosphere. The living area features a plush sofa and an expansive sitting area. Hang out here and watch a movie on the large flatscreen cable TV, which comes with Netflix streaming, while you warm up in front of the gas fireplace. Surf the internet with the complimentary WiFi to find area attractions, plan your itinerary, and stay in touch with folks at home.

The kitchen is inviting with lots of counter space, knotted pine cabinets, and all standard appliances, including a dishwasher. Cook up a delectable dinner, and gather with your guests at the circular dining table that seats four and is flanked by large windows on two sides. Savor your meal together and make plans for the next day. Enlist someone to handle cleanup while you prepare the space for a fun family game night with the selection this home offers.

When the sun goes down and it's time for some shut-eye, sink into the comfy queen-size beds in one of the two bedrooms upstairs, which both feature a large closet and share a bathroom. There's also a futon and a sofabed downstairs for more sleeping options.

All together, this two-bedroom, two-bath home accommodates up to six guests. And don't forget that you can bring up to three canine friends with you, too, for a small nightly fee. This rental also has a private washer and dryer so you can pack light and return home with clean clothes.

Walk to the beach for some quiet reflection while you listen to the sound of the waves and feel the sea-salt mist on your face. Do some beachcombing and take photos to commemorate your time here. Walk to the north end of the beach and spend some time at Cape Kiwanda Marine Garden and State Natural Area where you can do some hiking, let the dogs run, and climb to the top of a big dune for lovely views.

On your way there or back, stop off at well-known Pelican Pub & Brewery for some hearty, high-quality fare and thirst-quenching local brews. And If wine is your preference, make your way to Twist Wine Company for tasting and mingling in their lounge, about a mile away.

Further south is dog-friendly Bob Straub State Park for more beach strolling along miles of sand. Bring a picnic and enjoy it while you take in your stunning surroundings. And 27 miles south is bustling Lincoln City when you're in the mood for shopping, a wide variety of dining, and entertainment, including a casino.

Very clean, walking distance to everything in Pacific City. Will definitely stay here again with family of five.

This house was really great, clean and close to the beach, brewery and market place!
Linda B. Jun 2019
Wonderful stay, very clean and homey. The house is a two or three minute walk from the beach, which made for a lot of beach days and sun bathing. We also hit up a lot of local restaurants because it is conveniently located within a mile or so from nearly everything, which made getting around nice (and car-free) during the crazy tourist season. Overall an excellent stay with the only (hard to come up with) complaint being that the water pressure was a tiny bit low. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone interested in visiting Pacific City or the coast, generally!
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Linda! We're so pleased that this cozy beach home w/ views provided an excellent home base for you to enjoy the Oregon coast. We have followed-up with our management team to check the water pressure for any issue that may need adjustment. We would love to host you for your next getaway!

No issues with any aspects of our stay! Would 100 percent book the same place, but maybe for a little longer next time!

We brought our two dogs with us. The house was perfect for the four of us. This place was walking distance to anything and everything we needed.
Tim O. May 2019
The house was small and intimate. It was just the right feel for a weekend away. I would love to come back and stay here again.

We loved the location of this home. A quiet community, surrounded by wildlife (lots of deer in the yard), and a walking path to the beach. The kitchen and upstairs bedroom have nice views of the ocean monolith. The fireplace is cozy and easy to operate. We would love to return!

I loved the location and easy access to the beach. The pet friendly environment was enjoyed by all. Vacasa staff responded quickly as did the site manager, all were very courteous and knowledgeable.
The house could have been a little cleaner but was well stocked with items listed as being included.

Everything was fantastic except we could not get the fireplace to work! We loved the deers! The place was comply.

Very cute, clean and cozy! Just a short walk to the beach! This is exactly what we were looking for in a place to stay. It was the perfect size for my wife, 2 daughters and my dad! We are planning on going back next year, and will definitely book again if it is available!

The Barefoot Beach house was as described. It slept myself, my husband and our grown daughter and son very comfortably! The beds were firm - comfortable, but firm - so just something to be aware of. The walk through the Shorepine village to the ramp up and over the dune is easy - you're at the beach in less than 5 minutes. The beach at Pacific City is one of the prettiest on the Oregon Coast - in my humble opinion. Thanks for a great stay!

The home is in a great location. Quick walk to the beach, close to food and groceries if you need them Fairly quiet

Loved everything!! It could have been a little cleaner for my taste. Cobwebs, dirty window ledges, doritos under the table. More garbage sacks!! All in all it was fun a d amazing!!
Manager response:
We sincerely apologize for the lack of housekeeping and will follow-up with our team. Thank you!

Mostly nice, very clean, great location, except for the main road noise. Needs side tables in bedrooms, working fireplace

Over all nice house, parking sucks. The house itself is well furnished, clean and relaxing. It was a nice weekend

Can't beat this location for beach access and ease to the Pelican Brewery and other shops.

A clean, open home with absolutely no décor or thought to coziness, but it works if you bring your own music, games, reading material, etc. Loved the neighbors and everyone we encountered in town. The proximity to the beach and town is wonderful and watching the eclipse from the dune was a fantastic lifetime experience. Be forewarned that your clothes will live on the floor or in your suitcase for the duration of your visit as (apart from a few hangers in the closet), there is nowhere to put clothing - no dressers, no nightstands, no lamps or end tables. All this said, we would definitely go back (with our own tv trays and dishtowels)!

We vacationed with 4 adults, one baby, and two dogs. The house was wonderful for our group and very clean! This was our first time at Pacific City and we all fell in love with the town. My only sore spot was there was not a fenced area for the dogs and the main road is directly behind the house. However, there are many paved trails in the area to walk the dogs and the beach is very close. All in all, it was a wonderful time and we will be back!

There was my husband, adult son and myself sharing the lovely home. We went to Pacific City for some R & R and was not disappointed. The Vacasa house we stayed in met all our needs, was very clean and comfortable. The surrounding area had some entertainment such as nice sitting and walking-in-the-sand beaches. A very high sand dune to challenge those eager to try and climb. The Pelican Brewery was a great place for nice dining or relaxing with a drink. We decided we loved the Citricumulus beer and returned for more. Nice atmosphere, too. The trouble we had was inability to find bike rentals to enjoy riding. Vacasa was easy to work with and would enjoy staying in one of their homes again! Oh can't forget....those of you bringing your furry family member, there was great access right out the back door for potty purposes. I'm pretty sure my dog enjoyed the R & R, too!!

The house is in good shape. Lacking some common kitchen stuff like salt-and-pepper. Could you some tile racks and parking is tough for a full-size pick up
Chris P. Jul 2017
Clean and comfortable.
Short walk to the beach or dining.
Michi S. May 2017
We loved our stay at this house. We had our two dogs, two friends and their infant, two of us and our daughter and her friend. Everyone was very comfortable. The teens slept on the pullout sofa, friends and baby had one bedroom and we had the other bedroom. The dogs were also very happy. The house is in a perfect location, steps to the beach and steps in to town. We love this area and will definitely come back. Thank you.

Overall a really nice stay.

We were very happy with the house and its location. Everything was very clean and well kept and it was a quite weekend in the are which is what we were hoping for. Other than the propane tank being empty and not being able to use the fireplace on the cold rainy night when we arrived everything else was great.
Amy K. Mar 2017
The house was great. Very convenient location. Very well stocked house, comfortable beds and nice amenities. Would definitely recommend.
Matthew R. Mar 2017
We lucked out getting a sunny day at the beach in the late winter. However, we lucked out even more by getting a welcoming place just a short stroll away from the beach.
The place is large enough for three couples to fit comfortably (with dogs). We utilized the kitchen space for most our meals. There are refillable bottles to top off at the brew pub. And the Pacific City area has many sights to check out.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend. We arrived to find the house clean, tidy and comfortable. The gas fireplace was great, and helped make a very cozy house during a big rain/wind storm. Hopefully the owner will add a coat rack or hooks as there was no place to conveniently hang wet coats when coming in from rainy beach walks.

Access to the beach was just a few minutes walk to the boardwalk then up and over the dune. We walked to town for a cinnamon roll at Grateful Bread (highly recommend!)

The kitchen was great for cooking for our group of 6. Overall a very nice place to make our home away from home for the holiday!
