Dog-friendly oceanfront house with ocean views & entertainment - walk to beach!

Fit the whole group in one house on your next trip to Rockaway Beach! This oceanfront home offers dog-friendly accommodations, ocean views, and entertainment for up to 10 guests to have a memorable vacation!

Located by Twin Rocks State Park off of Highway 101 on the south side of Rockaway, it is just a short walk to reach a beautiful stretch of sand, and a quick drive will bring you to all the conveniences in town.

The house itself has a comfortable feel with a rustic design and modern furnishings. Sit back on the couches in the main room and glimpse the ocean out the windows, or grab a bite to eat at the dining table with seats for eight. Four more can sit at the breakfast bar of the first kitchen, which is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. A woodstove keeps this room cozy in cold weather.

You might prefer to eat outside on a nice day - luckily, three round tables on the deck provide seating for 12 with amazing views of the ocean! There is also a charcoal grill on the upper deck, and a picnic table on the patio down below.

Downstairs is another kitchen, fully equipped with extras like a coffeemaker, mixer, blender, waffle iron, and dishwasher for many possibilities and convenience. There's a small table for three, and a private washer/dryer is great for any laundry you might have.

For entertainment, head to the garage-turned-game-room to play some Ping-Pong on the full-size table or watch a Blu-ray/DVD on one of the flatscreen cable TVs located in the living room upstairs or the den. WiFi is available for browsing, as well.

Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms allow this home to sleep up to 10 guests. The first two rooms, both upstairs, have a queen bed. The third, which is downstairs, has a queen and a twin. The den downstairs doubles as a sleeping space and features a twin-over-full bunk bed, a futon, a sofabed, and a woodstove for extra coziness. There is one bathroom on each level, and your dogs are welcome to join for the fun on this vacation (please note a two-dog limit and a small, nightly pet fee).

This house is perfect for a large family, a group of friends, or a couple families vacationing together - spend your days out on the beach flying kites, kicking a soccer ball, and seeing who can build the best sand castle. With Twin Rocks on the horizon, you'll have plenty of opportunities for amazing photographs! Take a hike up the beach or drive to a shop in town to buy some fresh ingredients for a delicious home-cooked meal.

Fun day trips around the area include touring the Tillamook Cheese Factory just 11 miles away, where you can learn how cheese is made, indulge in many flavors of delicious ice cream, and more. A bit longer of a drive (27 miles) will bring you to the popular town of Cannon Beach, where you'll find more activities and attractions, such as the tide pools around iconic Haystack Rock when the tide is low.

Your whole group will be telling stories about this beach trip for a long time - book today!

The house is comfortable and with a great view. With the undercover deck in the front you can enjoy the ocean without getting wet.

Location is the key to this home. The beautiful sunsets and quick beach access helped make our family of 9 vacation so lovely. The home’s interior and furnishings are dated and could use some replacing. Having said that, with 3 little ones we didn’t have to worry so much .
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Sue! We are glad you enjoyed your visit and we appreciate your feedback. We look forward to hosting you again soon!

Loved the space and layout of the home very close to beach and we could see kids from house. Loved how helpful responsive and friendly all Vacasa staff were.

We loved our stay at Falcons Nest. We had a fantastic few days with our children and the grand babies. They loved the yard, the beach and the river that meets the ocean. We loved the view, morning, noon and night it was just beautiful. The house was comfortable even though it’s a little dated. I would stay there again and enjoyed everything.

Great view and a charming spot. The decor is a little old-school but in a good way—perfect for a chill weekend with friends.

The house had a great location and plenty of space for our group and dogs. The beach area was not overly crowed and easy to get to from the house. We cooked our own meals at the house, and the kitchen was stocked with all of the necessary utensils. The house was clean and had a good layout. The deck was amazing and had a great view of the ocean and the beach.

Perfect beachfront location, Great for family get togethers. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Beautiful, spacious deck overlooking the ocean. Great place to watch the beautiful sunsets. House is fully equipped with everything you need. WONDERFUL PLACE!!!

Everything. The house is perfect for large families. Everyone has their own space when needed and a large living area for all. The view couldn't be better. Full ocean view from the living room and large deck. Beach 1/4 of a block away. Very easy access. Peaceful and enjoyable. Will be back again soon i'm sure.

The Falcons Nest was a great spot for a weekend getaway. Beautiful views of the ocean front the two large decks, ample space, and a stone's throw from the beach. What more could you ask for?

Great property

We have stayed there many years in a row through several different management companies. It works well for us because it's right on the beach near a creek that has been fun over the years for the kids to play. The bedroom set up is not great for multiple families because one "bedroom" is really the downstairs living room. I don't really want other people to stay there because they might sign up for a time we want to go .

Beds are well used, replace towels, very old. Upstairs shower door is a shin bruiser-comes off track. Loved the location.
Manager response:
The towels have all been replaced, and the owner has been advised of the other comments. We appreciate receiving this feedback.

Falcon's nest is in a great location at a wonderful beach. We loved the view and the seclusion of being the end house. The house could use some updates but it met all of our needs.

We had a great time and enjoyed having the beach right out our door. Beautiful setting.

The place would have been great if it weren't for the musty, mildwey, moldy smell permeating the entire place. Even linens and towels smelled. Otherwise it was great off the beaten path location and easy beach access.
Manager response:
We apologize for any musty smell present in the home. Stale smells will leave after the home receives more use, and the Property Manager will provide air freshener plugs to alleviate any unpleasant odors.
