Very comfortable and well appointed. Location is great; just a couple of blocks to the beach and a 10 minute walk to downtown.
Sara M. Apr 2019
Good location. Walking distance to the beach was great. Only draw back was parking. If you had a bigger SUV or truck parking was tricky and not many spaces available, so if you left and came back there was a good chance your spot would be gone.
Debra D. Apr 2019
This place exceeded our expectations! I consider myself to be very picky when it comes to cleanliness, the place was impeccable! It was cozy, quiet, the bed very comfortable ! We went with our dog and enjoyed every minute there! The beach is only 2 blocks away. The pictures of the do not lie.
Kendra K. Mar 2019
We loved this cute little cabin for our vacation. We stayed 4 nights here and were perfectly comfortable even with the small size. Cute beach decor and gorgeous beach touches around the cabin. The futon was comfortable for sleeping and relaxing to watch tv. We will most definitely stay here again.
Lindsay P. Nov 2018
This was the perfect little spot for a weekend getaway. Walking distance to everything. Quiet and easy to relax in. The bedroom was a little bit tight, but certainly not uncomfortable. For the price, this spot over-delivered.
Stephanie F. Oct 2018
Cute little cottage! My aunt and I loved being there. What a cozy place to stay.
Catherine R. Sep 2018
Adorable room. Friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. Would definitely stay again!
Shay B. Aug 2018
We were fortunate to be welcomed upon arrival and really felt we were treated so kindly by the person cleaning the cottage. While we couldn't check in early, we were able to park our car and head directly to the beach. The cottage is cute and cozy, everything functioned well and the kitchen was perfect for whipping up a quick dinner for the family. The futon in the living room worked just fine as a bed for our two kids. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
Susanne S. Aug 2018
Great location close to the beach and village
Emliy H. Jul 2018
This picturesque little cottage was perfect for a girls weekend at the beach! It was very clean and comfortable (we had three adults and a child), and just about 2 blocks to the beach. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat!
Tejash C. Jul 2018
Stayed here for 2 nights - great location and the cottage was small but lovely. Vacasa team was very nice to deal with and the process was smooth and painless. Would certainly recommend.
Dana R. Jun 2018
It was a cute little place...very conveniently located near both the town and the beach.
Sheila H. Apr 2018
Cute little cottage in Cannon Beach. Would definitely stay here again. It was nice being such a short walking distance from the beach and our favorite coffee shop. The property was just what I had expected.
Amber K. Feb 2018
Our little cottage was nice and cozy, perfect for two people. It was nice and very clean. The area was nice and quiet, and it was very close to downtown Cannon Beach and all the shops. Just a block away from the beach, so you could walk to it easily. And not a far drive from Haystack and Mo's restaurant. We would definitely come back!
Amy G. Feb 2018
The online booking process was easy. The staff was in touch often to update my booking and keep me informed. The house was awesome and we will ceRtainly stay here again!
Janette S. Dec 2017
We found this place perfectly adequate for a weekend getaway. Bring there in December, we stayed inside a lot. The fireplace is cozy (though it doesn't put out a lot of heat, so if you're often too cold, you might want to make sure you pack warm clothes), plenty is space for 2 people, and all the supplies we needed. Very comfortable, thank you!

The cottage was exactly as pictured. A few concerns were the fireplace. It made the wall on the other side, in the bedroom, very hot which worried me and made the bedroom very hot at night, so we shut it off. The sofa is very uncomfortable and the floor near the window and chair seemed to have some issues. The water pressure is great and everything you need is there. There isn't any room for luggage unless it's just two people, like we were, and we just left the luggage in the living room. It's tiny, so be prepared to be flexible with what you bring and where you store it. It was nice and quiet and close to everything.
Christine K. Sep 2017
We spent four nights in this cottage, and had all we needed to prepare meals and have a comfortable stay. The cottage is a short walk to the beach, and a easy walk to town for lots of great shopping and dining! We even ventured upon a playground for our daughter while walking through downtown. I would definitely stay again!

Just as pictures portrayed. Clean, current, super convenient. Bed is good not deluxe, but slept really well. Linens fresh and good. Little patio a nice place to have a glass before dinner. Good water pressure/ hot water. Basic kitchen utensils ( all you need). I would come back for sure and would recommend to friends. Here are a couple of finds once there....1) Newmans 988- splendid restaurant. Not to miss. Caring chef. Good food. Steps from cottage.( Luck you)
2) Drive down a few miles to Kelly's Brighton Marina. Rent little outboard, crab pots and catch your own monster Dungeness. Less adventure? Buy clams, crabs and oyster...so fresh they need to be slapped. Kelly can steam em for you and you can eat there ( picnic tables) or take back to cottage and make a mind blowing seafood buffet.
3) Hike Ecola to Indian beach. Mind clearing, soothing fairy forest and sea's edge. Do it, it's short, it's easy and you will be grateful for the memories. Grandma can come too....
4) Find out when low tide is and get up close to haystack to check out marine life and look for puffins nesting.
Angela F. Sep 2017
Cottage is just the right size.
Everything we needed and then some!
Walking distance to everything.
Lovely neighborhood.
Troy T. Aug 2017
Overall it was a great little cabin in which to stay. Convenient to beach and downtown. Very clean and nice property. Will try to stay here again the next time we're in the area.
Blair E. Aug 2017
Comfy bed. Excellent shower. Very small unit. It was pretty close quarters for our family of four. Also, be aware that the check-in instructions mention an oven, dishwasher and washing machine even though none of those are available.
Manager response:
We were unable to find anywhere where it mentions a dishwasher or washing machine, but we did find mention of an oven. We will get this edited as the home does not have an oven, only a stove top. Thanks!
Jonathan V. Aug 2017
We always look forward to our time in Cannon Beach.
Jill L. Aug 2017
This is a cute little cottage located down the street from the beach near Haystack Rock. The location is wonderful and walking distance to shops, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. I would recommend staying here.
April M. Jul 2017
It was a nice cozy cottage within walking distance to haystack rock. It was nice to have our close friends stay in the cottage right next to us. The kids could play in the almost Fenced lawn.
Aric M. Jun 2017
This cottage is within in walking distance of almost anything in Cannon Beach. It is perfect for a small family. We love it and have come back twice now.
Angela M. Apr 2017
I went for part of spring break with my two daughters and dogs. It's just the right size for the small group of us, and a quick walk to the beach. We spent a few days over spring break there, and it was perfect for us. Affordable, quiet and pet friendly.
Schauna A. Apr 2017
We loved our stay at this cute cottage. We loved hearing the frogs at night and it was close to everything. We would definitely stay here again.
David L. Apr 2017
My wife, daughter and I stayed here for a weekend. Perfect size for three and it's close proximity to the beach is ideal.
Katy C. Feb 2017
The cottage was very cute and quaint. Location was great, we could walk to the beach and the downtown area with shops and food.
Lauren R. Jan 2017
This property was amazing! I loved the quaint space, amenities, and fireplace! The location is perfect to be able to walk to the beach (just one block away!) and to the mom and pop shops about the main stretch. The neighborhood was super friendly, quiet, and accommodating to pets. I can't wait to come back next year!
Greg W. Jan 2017
We enjoyed our New Year's Eve stay by the fire!
Kendra W. Dec 2016
My fiance and I and another couple (and our small 15 pound dog) stayed in this cottage. Location was definitely awesome--close to Pelican Brewery and downtown, never needed to drive anywhere. Very close to the beach as well (2 blocks).
I don't really have any complaints! It was small, but we didn't spend a ton of time inside. I would recommend limiting the occupancy to 3, unless you know the people you're with well. The couch is not a pull out, but rather a futon that lays out...size of a small 'full' bed (best for 1 person).
Everything was clean that we could see. A few of us had allergy problems right when we got there, which might have been because of a previous pet tenant? Hard to say.
The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. FYI there is no large oven, it is a small counter top toaster oven, so space is limited. Don't plan on baking up a lot of things while there. Everything worked well and there is a large sink so it makes cleaning up after yourself easier.
The bathroom was stocked and we had access to plenty of clean towels. The bathroom door didn't really shut...it was very difficult to lock all the way. Probably needs to be fixed.

Overall I would recommend this for a couple! Easy to find, decent size for 2, clean, all the amenities needed.
Casey S. Nov 2016
Will book again!
Adam R. Nov 2016
A nice little town with a breach and some good food. Nice to just walk around an enjoy the day. Also driving distance from lots of other attractions.
Jenni K. Oct 2016
Cute little cottage style house, very close to town and the beach.
Britney C. Sep 2016
Very cozy and comfortable cottage. Perfect for 2 people. Conveniently located close to the beach, shops and dining.
Diane W. Sep 2016
Cottage was cute and well equipped, clean, plenty of towels, in a perfect location just 2 blocks from the beach and an easy walk to shops in either direction.
Nancy C. Aug 2016
The location of this house is awesome! It really is a short walking distance to the haystack rocks and we enjoyed the quiet and charming neighborhood.
Meredith M. Aug 2016
We had a nice stay at The Shell Cottage. Loved that we were able to walk to the beach, town, coffee and to delicious restaurants. Also, I appreciated that it was back off the main road so it was nice and quiet. The Shell Cottage is small and cozy and was perfect for our two night stay.
Michelle J. Aug 2016
The price seemed reasonable until it doubled with all the cleaning and other fees added on. I went ahead and rented it because there were not a lot of options. It is a cute place and was quiet. We were charged $90.00 for a cleaning fee for one night which seemed like a lot considering the place was not all that clean. Even though it says it sleeps 4, I would not recommend having 4 people. It was fine for 1 night but we were tripping over each other. The bed that pulls out in the living room is very uncomfortable and was small for 2 people. Also a warning the water out of the faucets gets extremely hot. My son burned his hand pretty badly from it.
Jule W. Jul 2016
Cute little cottage with everything a couple needs to stay and room for a couple of children. Very accommodating about our dog.
Julia E. Jul 2016
Darling Cottage! So clean and comfortable; perfect location! Can't wait to go back.
Susan T. Jul 2016
We liked the location, within walking distance to the beach and to town. The cottage was very cute and was perfect for 2 -people.
Bri J. Jun 2016
This property was perfect!
Jasmine S. Jun 2016
These cottages were perfect! Just a block and a half from the beach, cute, quiet, and clean. Exactly what we needed.
John T. Jun 2016
My new bride and were very please, and will return for future anniversary... Everything was perfect, very clean, and in a very good location to see all that there is to do in Cannon Beach...
Heather N. Jun 2016
Convienenrly located walking distance to beach and downtown! Nice little cottage and had the necessary things you would need. Would stay again. :)
Miranda D. May 2016
Great cottages, each having a different theme! Very cute courtyard. We love them!
Brynn B. May 2016
Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband and 7 month old baby! Very comfortable and clean and such a short distance to the beach! This is our third time staying in a Vacasa Property and second time staying in the Hidden Villas! Great place to stay! We had a wonderful time!!! Thank you!!!
Blake N. May 2016
Hidden Villa Motel offers nice, well-maintained little beach cottages tucked away from the crowds and only a short walk to beach and town. Nothing fancy but nice and clean and a great value.
Andrew R. Apr 2016
Great little cottage. It was our first time to Cannon Beach so we had no idea where to stay. We nailed it with this hidden cottage. Quiet. Excellent location - our 2 year old daughter was happy to walk to the beach (2 blocks) and we were able to stroll into town for meals without the need for the car. We live in a condo so are used to 'cosy' living and this was ample for our needs - though to be honest, you should be outdoors all day anyway, even in the rain! Looking forward to our next visit.
Yasmin Y. Mar 2016
Nicely spaced 1 bedroom place. Loved the location most especially. The only thing I would add, the pond close to the cottage has attracted some frogs therefore, just prepare yourself to listen to them crock during your stay esp at night bec it can get quite loud. But we love nature and our dogs are used to the noise so it didn't bother us at all!!!
Jenelle B. Mar 2016
Perfect spot to chill and walk all around Cannon Beach. Our 3 year old and 9 year old loved playing in the grassy common area. Only suggestion was to add a knife to the kitchen better than a steak knife - I realize not everyone cooks on vacation, but it was hard to cut even an apple! Really not a complaint though - would stay again, we loved it!
Valerie Z. Mar 2016
I love that this location is nestled away in a quiet location, but really close to the beach and shops. It is small, but perfect for 2 plus my small pooch. There were frogs croaking in the evening outside in the pond to add to the ambiance. I've stayed here twice now, and I'll definitely be back again!
Joe B. Feb 2016
Cozy cottages within walking distance to almost everything. Clean, comfortable.
Mark M. Jan 2016
It was quiet and relaxing. The cottage itself is very small and is more suitable for a small person or someone who prefers vet small spaces. This was similar to Tiny house living. The storage for luggage is non-existent. However, the cottage was clean and the surrounding area was quiet which aided the ability to relax. The cable connection was very troublesome and we were without it for two nights and part of a day before it was resolved by ourselves and the cable company directly. Overall, I would recommend a lonesome traveler settle hear for a night or two of rest and be on his or her way the shortly thereafter after shopping and getting a quick bite to eat athe amusing and quaint little town and stroll on the beautiful beach..
Manager response:
Thank you for your review. We are sorry that the cable was so troublesome!
Billy S. Jan 2016
Hard to beat the location and charm of this little cottage!
Jeff A. Dec 2015
The Shell Cottage is really cute inside, with nice furnishings and kitchen appliances. It was very adequate for 2 nights. On the inland side of the main beach road, it's not far to walk approx 2 blocks to ocean access. It's convenient to downtown and to the awesome Sleepy Monk Coffee Shop. Very comfy bed, nice towels, hot shower. This cottage is close to Haystack Rock and very cute inside and out; we appreciated the economical option for staying with our dog. The cottage is quite small. We were glad to have a rare sunny, clear day in Winter. If it was raining ... it would've been hard. Parking is tricky if one guest doesn't think about the other guests; painted lines may help designate space. The cottage was pretty clean, except for the "used" toilet upon arrival. Also, there was no bedding for the futon, which we planned to use - we called and left 4 messages before someone came around 8 pm and brought sheets. There should've been a blanket for the futon too. The only heat source is a small blower in the bedroom and small gas fireplace in the main room; it was very cold when we arrived. No heat had been on. Heat was hard to regulate. Having a host on site would've made the difference in these issues/questions. Our digital guest book didn't work, and after repeated calls for bedding, it wasn't worth it to call to ask for something like a broom. An on site host would make a big difference. Once you arrive, you're sort of on your own.
Manager response:
Thank you for your response. We apologize that the bedding was not ready for you, that there were missing supplies, and the clean was not up to standard. We will work on making sure that does not happen again in the future. Thank you!
Cindy A. Oct 2015
Cottage a great value, close to the best dinning in Cannon Beach. Can't wait to return.
Aimee G. Sep 2015
This was a nice retreat for my husband and I to take for our honeymoon. We were just a short walk from the sandy shores of Cannon Beach, close enough to town, but just far enough away to avoid the foot traffic of tourtists. I would definitely return for a other trip, however, the kitchen amenities were limited, so I would make sure to pack a pot, pan, and some other utensils to save costs on eating out next time. Overall, a great place to stay!
Karie S. Aug 2015
The cottages are fantastic! Perfect location and a short walk to the beach and into town. The units are clean and well maintained; with plenty of fresh towels, bedding and kitchen stuff.
Ms. P. Aug 2015
The photos and description were accurate so I was not surprised when we arrived. Nothing fancy but we brought our dogs and we didn't want anything fancy. I brought my laptop and had very good free Wi-Fi so I was able to work. The kitchen is very small so if one wanted to do a lot of cooking, that would be tough. The fridge and freezer is normal size which is nice and the 2-burner stove, toaster oven, and microwave met our needs (BTW, your description should include microwave; we didn't think there would be one because it's not include in the list of appliances). It was unseasonably hot so a couple of floor fans would have been nice, but my son who came a day later brought 2 fans from his house (I texted him) we used at night for air circulation that helped a lot (so if you're coming in July-September, and if you're driving, you may want to throw in at least one portable fan). The shower had good pressure and plenty of warm water. I liked the big sink in the kitchen and that water was very hot. Good for doing dishes, but I suggest bringing a pair of rubber gloves to do dishes because the water was too hot for my hands. The garbage dumpster was handy. Although the cabins are very close to each other, it was very quiet the whole time we were there --mornings and evenings, but maybe we just got lucky. There should be a hose/water in a central location for people to rinse off their feet (and dogs) when coming in from the beach. We had to use the shower but that was after we tracked sand in through the house. The outside was nice; we used the sitting area quiet a bit because it was so nice outside. The only complaint I have about the outdoor area is the water feature had so much algae that it looked like pea soup. I suggest that the pond/fountain be maintained better so we don't have to look at green water if sitting outside. I have no major complaints, but then again, we weren't expecting anything fancy.
Loretta C. Jul 2015
My husband and I treated my daughter and her roommate for their birthdays and they were pleased with the cottages. There were plenty of places to visit and eat at. We will most likely visit again next year and Vacasa made it very easy.
Molly M. Jul 2015
if you're looking for a place you can afford, that allows you the comfort of a small private house and that's in an easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, as well as the beach--then this is it! You can't go wrong with one of these cute little houses and they have everything you need for your stay.
ARIC M. Jun 2015
What a wonderful place to launch all your Cannon Beach and Oregon Coast activities. Comfortable, quiet, and affordable. They are small, but perfect for my wife, daughter and I. You won't be disappointed.
Marie S. May 2015
We spent 3 days here, my daughter and I. We were able to park our car and walk the whole time we were here. Enjoyed sitting outside in the lawn chairs.
Heather C. Mar 2015
Such a cute little cottage. I had read reviews about ants, but we did not see any during our stay. The cottage is small but that was to be expected after reading other reviews. You can easily fit a pack'n'play next to the bed if you scoot the bed up against the wall. It was super quiet and we felt very safe. We will definitely stay again and would recommend to others.
Kathryn B. Jan 2015
The location of the cabins is great. It's very walkable to town; shops, restaurants, etc. and just 1.5 blocks to the beach. The cabins are historic structures and exude an early 20th century charm, inside and out. As is usually the case with historic buildings you get storage issues. There is no closet in the bedroom and no storage in the bathroom. Counter space in the kitchen is limited, but there is a good amount of food storage space there. The cabin was clean upon our arrival and the grounds were nice. (Might have made use of the outdoor grill and seating area had it been warmer!) That all said, we were very cozy and snug and made it work for our week's stay. The gas fireplace was a nice way to heat up the space. We'd rent the cabin again and are recommending it to friends.
Paula C. Nov 2014
Came to town to surf.
We had a great stay in the cabin, the bed was very comfortable and it was a peaceful area for a nice restful sleep!
The kitchen is well stocked but we walked out for dinner as the location was perfect.
The internet worked great!
Would absolutely stay here again.
Laurel S. Oct 2014
My husband and I travelled to Cannon Beach from Victoria BC and stayed in Shell Cottage (#2) at the Hidden Villa for 5 nights. We had a wonderful stay and were very happy with everything. The Villa is in an excellent location, close to Haystack Rock and a short walk to town but still quiet and off the main road. The cottage is tiny but perfect for a couple. It is well maintained and the layout and furnishings are very convenient and comfortable. We found that pretty well everything that we needed for our stay was supplied - coat hooks, cooking utensils and appliances, bathroom toiletries, bedding and towels, TV and DVD player and so on. The reservation and driving directions we received in advance were clear and helpful and the instructions in the cabin were easy to follow. We would definitely stay at Hidden Villa again and will recommend it to others.
Wally C. Sep 2014
A Great time at Shell cottage. Accomodation was better than expected. I would recommend Vacasa to anyone. First day had a problem with the TV , the management and service staff were professional, the quick response to fix the situation was greatly appreciated. The location of the cottages to the beach and to the townsite for shops and restaurants is ideal. THANKYOU FROM, ME, MY WIFE, AND OUR TWO RARE BREED BIEWERS APOLLO AND AMBROSIA.
Prabhjot R. Jul 2014
Stayed here for a night, 4 people fit comfortably with the bed and pull out couch. Cottage looks small from the outside but a great use of space. Loved the fridge and small kitchen area. Less than a 5 min walk to the actual beach, maybe 10 mins to town. Perfect location! Check in and out procces was very well organized. Would definitely stay here again!
Amy B. Jul 2014
This place was perfect for two people and our dog. I think it maybe uncomfortable for 4 or even 3 people. Great location and the grounds were neat and pretty!!
Hiram W. Jun 2014
If you want coffee in the early morning you'll have to bring your own ground coffee and filters.
Manager response:
Thank you for this great review. I am sorry that you were unaware that we do not supply coffee grounds. We are glad that overall you enjoyed your stay with us.
Jodi O. Jun 2014
We enjoyed our stay at the Hidden Villas. Being pet friendly was a major plus. The small courtyard was perfect for our dogs (yorkies) and everyone picked up after their pets. The units were quiet and comfortable. We will definitely look to Vacasa for future vacations.
Michael W. Oct 2013
Great place and location, was able to walk everywhere.
Nicolette F. Sep 2013
We truly enjoyed our stay in #2 at Vacasa Rentals. It was a perfect place for our little family. It is quaint and peaceful. The pond/stream outside was so relaxing to listen to. Our 4 year old son loved to walk over the little bridge and watch the little stream. The cottage has a beachy feeling with the décor and the

The Hidden Villa Cottages are a true find. Immaculate, comfortable, cozy and minutes from one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen (and we live in Santa Barbara, Ca minutes from our beach) Well maintained with every ammenity. We would return here in a minute!
Matt H. Aug 2013
This is a tiny little unit, and is best suited for two people. It's small but it has everything you need and you can't beat the price for being walking distance from the beach and all the shops.
Shelley S. Aug 2013
Loved Cannon Beach,
Anna S. Jul 2013
For anyone wondering if you should stay here or not, please allow me to answer that question for you. Yes. The cottage is immaculate, no trace of sand or beach and its only a block away. The cottage is such a cozy place to come back to after a day of kite flying, hiking, beach dwelling, shopping, or any combination. Its well equipped with everytjing needed to make breakfast, lunch, or dinner. So please stay. And enjoy like we did!
Karie S. Jul 2013
We also really enjoyed the courtyard area. It was nice to be able to enjoy meals outside or just relax and read.
Shanta S. Apr 2013
We really enjoyed this cottage. Close enough to the beach, and local business.
Scott D. Jan 2013
We really enjoyed our stay. We know that going to the coast in the winter is a gamble and we came out on top this time. The cottage was very warm and had a great heating system and we were never uncomfortable.
Victoria C. Jan 2013
My experiecne with Vacasa was great. I will use them again, but I will not stay at this particular cottage again. It is a very small 350 square feet. The size is enough for 2 adults staying for the weekend. First impression was, it was a very cute tiny little cottage, with the same space and amenities as a RV. The kitchen is tiny with a little fridge, but that is all that is needed for a weekend stay. The living room is a nice size. The bedroom is very tight. My hunsband is a tall large man and banged himself up quite a bit going to and from the bathroom - which is also very tight. Also the bathroom has high ceilings, but the tiny sink is very low, and it made it difficult to use without splashing water everywhere. I was very disappointed with the condition of the sofa. The sofa should eiher be replaced or covered with a slip cover. The TV is very old, which would not be a problem if the remote worked (it was held togehter with tape and the batteries were corroded). All in all I will give it 3 starts because it is a cute place with lots of potential. If it was spruced up a bit (with newer or cleaned sofa/slip cover, updated table, flatware, glassware & dishes) it would be a great place for people to stay.
Manager response:
Thank you so much for your review. Yes, the cottage is small and advertised as such. Some like it, some prefer a larger space. The sofa has been replaced immediately after your stay and we have replenished the dishes in the kitchen. We appreciate your feedback.
Matthew K. Oct 2012
The cottage was cozy and delightful. Full of little charms while being simple. Just the kind of place we like to stay. 2 blocks to the beach, and walking distance to all of the shops in Cannon Beach. We are telling all our friends.
Shelley W. Sep 2012
I will definitely stay at Vacasa Rentals again! The location was absolutely perfect! Very quiet. Very clean. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cannon Beach. First time I had been there, but it definitely won't be the last, and I will be staying at Vacasa Rentals when I do go back.
Kara F. Aug 2012
We stayed in cottage #2 for 3 nights and had a fabulous time. The reservation process was easy, the cottage was clean, and it was the perfect amount of space for the two of us. The location is perfect. The walk to the beach is probably less than 5 min. and Haystak Rock is right there. The walk downtown is about 10 min. If visiting Cannon Beach again, we will absolutely try to book here.
Eric G. Aug 2012
My wife and I stayed in Cabin 2 on our wedding night and came back for our 5 year anniversary. It was wonderful to imagine our clothes hanging up on the hooks again and to remember the days we spent here with friends and family. We had a lovely time strolling on the beach, watching the sunset and sitting by the fire. The cabin is in a perfect location, close to everything, but on a quiet street. Can't wait until our next Cannon Beach trip!
Tina E. Jul 2012
Private, Quiet, homey setting. We enjoyed our stay. Being able to cook at "home" was very nice both from a cost and relaxation perspective.
nicolette h. Apr 2012
Can't wait to come back and stay in another hidden villa cottage and visit Sean at the Irish table. My husband were both so happy with this place, cute, comfy, and great location. We plan on returning this June and staying in the ocean theme cottage. Not a huge space or a whole lot of room for your stuff, but over all great place.
Barb and Jack B. Apr 2012
The cabin was cozy - smaller than it looked in the pictures - but it grows on you. The location was perfect. The price was right and the privacy was nice.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The location is perfect- A block to the beach and in between downtown and mid town Cannon Beach makes it a great place to venture out from.
The cottage was cute and cozy. It would be nice to have a full stove and oven instead of just a cooktop. Either than that it was a perfect little getaway. Would be a bit tight to squeeze 4 adults.

Great place. Close to the beach, cozy, and easy walk to coffee and some good restaurants.

This was a very cozy, quaint place. So easy to walk to the beach and experience the beauty. Just loved our short stay there. I think it would be a great place for a honeymoon or aniversary celebration.

We had a great time at the Hidden Villa Cottages. Wished we could have stayed longer. Our Daughter is already asking to go back to "#2" and we just got home! Can't wait to visit again.

Firstly, the place is great! I took my three kids, dog and our Scrabble game for a nice weekend while their mother was out of town on business. I laughed when I saw that the unit already had a Scrabble game in it. I loved the warmth of the gas fireplace and enjoying my coffee in the morning sun on the front porch to the sound of the water fountain. It's a perfect walk to the beach and downtown.

Three suggestions for the management staff: 1) include two regular chairs + two folding chairs. Your website said there would be three chairs, but there were only two in the unit. We called and were permitted access to the back unit to borrow two more, so no problem in the end, 2) Place a small card on the mantle with instructions on how to operate the gas stove. It was not obvious how to do this and I had to poke around before finding the control switch, 3) put hinged wings on the kitchen table under the leaves. Without these, the table was nearly unusable for the four of us b

My fiance and I needed to get out of the city. This beach cottage was THE BEST place in Cannon Beach. The property was super cute. The fountain out front was peaceful enough that I feel asleep in the grass reading a book. We were rode our bike everywhere because it's only blocks from the heart of town.
The cottage itself was small, but perfect for the 2 of us. Not much room for the suitcase we brought, but our clothes fit well in the dresser provided and hooks/hangers were available. The kitchen was awesome, because we were able to cook small meals and save money. The bed was very comfortable. The gas fireplace made for very cozy nights too.
The only downside (if you can even count this): The toaster was broken, there is no oven to cook only 2 burners/microwave and the trash from the previous renter was still in the kitchen. Wouldn't have been a big deal if the stinky food inside wasn't going bad.
We will hopefully be back next year!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hidden Villa. It was great to find a place that our dogs were welcome since we don't go anywhere without our canine friends. Bosley and Fisher loved the short walk to the beach and lounging by the fire. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for a great trip. Thanks for everything. We will definitely come back. Thanks again, Steve, Heather, Bosley and Fisher

I found our cottage at the Hidden Villa Inn to be extremely cozy and quaint. The Shell Room was the perfect size for two and the kitchen was completely stocked with pans and cooking utensils. The fireplace and water fountain outside made for a totally relaxing environment in which to spend a quiet weekend. The only minor problem was that a few ants had managed to sneak their way into our cottage, but this was quickly fixed when we spoke to the woman at the front desk. I highly recommend this cottage to others!

We loved the cottage it was perfect for our romantic weekend getaway, the hidden villa cottage was amazing the cottage was cute super close to the beach and we felt safe but Cannon Beach was small and it not being summer it was boring and a long drive to Lincoln City, all in all we loved the cottage BUT not the small town, we will probably return again though it was awesome
