Plan your next stress-free mountain escape to this South Lake Tahoe home and give yourself the gift of a fun-filled getaway! With prime location and room for everyone to spread out, your stay promises to be hassle-free.

Set in a quiet neighborhood six miles from the shores of Lake Tahoe and only five-and-a-half miles from Heavenly Mountain Resort, you'll have easy access to local attractions, while being surrounded by Tahoe's natural beauty.

Stepping inside the home, you'll be greeted by an expansive open main living area, wood accents, and the warmth of the wood-burning stove. Put your feet up after a long day on the trails, and flip through the cable channels on the flat screen, smart TV. Make it a movie night with some hot buttered popcorn.

Put a load of laundry in the private washer/dryer and then step out on the deck to enjoy a local microbrew or two. You can connect to the WiFi to find a recipe for the grill that every picky palate will love.

If it's too cold to cook outside, the open kitchen features custom stone counters, stainless steel appliances, and a dishwasher to take charge of clean up. Enjoy your meal at the classic dining room table, and then break out the provided board games for a fun-filled night with the crew!

The master bedroom upstairs features a soft double bed as well as a 3 twin-size beds. In both of the downstairs bedrooms, you'll find a double bed in each, allowing everyone to sleep comfortably.

In the morning, grab your gear and get everyone ready to hit the fresh powder at Heavenly. Shred the downhill runs or try your hand at their terrain courses for snowboarders. Afterwards treat everyone to a hearty meal at the German Himmel Haus and dive into a flight of seasonal brews.

During the warmer months, you can hit the local trails to find the perfect picnic spot. Head down to the shore for some lakeside fun and relaxation. Paddle out to explore the shoreline in a kayak, or maybe something a little faster like a jet ski. Revel in a bit of nightlife with a quick trip across the border into Nevada to Harrah's Lake Tahoe.

Whether you're fishing along the lake, shredding the fresh powder, or trying your luck at the casino, this Lake Tahoe home gives you the chance to experience it all!

The cabin was nice and comfortable. The kitchen was nicely stacked with everything needed. Highly recommended, I would definitely stay here again.

It is a nice house for a family especially with teenagers because it has privacy up stairs. I just think it needs to fix some details such as the stairs at the entrance and put more light outside on the deck and some more kitchen utensils but it is a nice house and clean
Manager response:
Hi, Jose! We are so glad this home worked well for your group. We have added more kitchen utensils, and maintenance will be checking the lights. Thank you for staying with us!

Great House & Location. Would stay here if I come back to Tahoe

Nice cabin

The cabin is really cute and cozy, had many beds. The reason for my bad review is because this property is advertised as a kid friendly cabin, when we first arrived we did a walk through and noticed mutliple loose rails. Had I not been watching my kids they could have easily gone right through them and falled from the second floor. This is a serious safety hazard. If you’re staying with young children make sure to test all the rails.
Manager response:
Thank you for your valuable feedback. We are sorry for the inconvenience. The rails have been tightened and are ready for future guests. We hope we can host you again soon!

The house is wonderful. It looks old on the outside but it is actually elegantly designed on the inside. Love the large windows and the triangle-shaped roof. The kitchen is more equipped than we imagined which is good for large groups and there are sufficient beds plus a mattress so no one needs to sleep on the sofa. There is also a board game stash in one of the closet downstairs which gives you ideas of what to do at night with your friends. If I have to name a downside, it would be that the huge backyard isn't properly maintained except for the wooden deck. It would be nice to use that extra lawn space as well. Overall, I'd recommend this rental house for a weekend getaway!

This home was the perfect place for our girls trip. It was clean, cozy and fully stocked. We had a wonderful time in South Lake Tahoe thanks to Vacasa!

Living room furniture not comfy.

This is a lovely chalet - it is clean and very well equipped. Would highly recommend it. Three bedrooms only though, two doubles and one with four single beds.

We loved the location the .. The house had lots of room very clean and comfortable... We would have liked the back yard to be cleaned up from bricks and tarps just laying around ..
Manager response:
We believe the bricks the guest is referring to is what makes up the fire pit, and the tarp covering the firewood is required by the Forest Service to prevent any flying embers from starting a woodpile on fire. Thank you!

We loved the overall cleanliness of the place. We enjoyed the Bbq and outdoor dining set.
Clean white towels are hotel quality. We would definitely come back.

Cozy yet spacious

Far enough from Pioneer to be very quiet, but close enough to the lake that it only took a few minutes by car.

Cabin has stuffy smell when first entered. Had to rush up to open all windows to air out, especially the loft bedroom. Would assume local management ventilate the cabin the morning of or no earlier than 1 day before occupancy so cabin won't be as stuffy.

It was a very nice, clean cabin. It's pretty close to the casinos and other attractions.

The bathrooms had been cleaned prior to our stay but little else

The property was beautiful and we'll maintained by the owners. I would definitely stay here again!!
Joel D. Apr 2017
The cabin was great except for the broken heater that took many calls to Vacasa to get someone to come take a look at it. Even then, they couldn't fix it, so we were stuck with a bunch of space heaters and having to feed the wood stove constantly to keep the cabin warm enough for our two families and the young kids.

The location is nice though, and there's a short slope to the side of the house perfect for young kids to sled on (3-6 yrs old.)
Manager response:
The property manager has already dispatched a tech to survey the situation and is in the process of being repaired. We will post an update upon completion.

It was a nice stay. Smaller than expected. Location was good. Had minor issues but it wasn't a big deal to us.

A nice place to stay. Snowed the first day, was a winter wonderland. Had a really nice trail through the woods in a family-oriented nice neighborhood. Close to ski resorts, lake and downtown South Lake Tahoe. All in all a beautiful place to stay and would recommend this to anyone.

This cabin is so cute and well equiped! We really enjoyed staying here. Close to all ski resorts on the south side of the lake and easy to get to from all directions. We will definitely be back!
Hanna F. Feb 2017
We have enjoyed staying here for a weekend of skiing as a couple of families with kids. Very nice, clean and convenient home - just as expected from the photos. Good location for skiing at Sierra-at-Tahoe and yet close to town as well. Would return!
