This spacious three-bedroom Boise vacation home is just one mile west of downtown, offering a central location with a little more peace and quiet. With contemporary furnishings, a fenced backyard, and plenty of room for up to six guests, this pet-friendly getaway makes a wonderful home base for a Boise getaway.

The open great room is sunny and warm, with beautiful hardwoods, a gas fireplace, and living and dining areas. The living room has comfortable seating before a flatscreen TV with a DVD player for movie nights (no cable), as well as a shelf of books and board games to keep you entertained on rainy afternoons.

The dining table sits between the living area and the kitchen, which has all the appliances and cookware needed to prepare meals for a group (including gadgets like a mixer, slow cooker, and a French press). There's also a dishwasher for easy clean-up. In sunny weather, head out to the nicely landscaped backyard for a barbecue on the gas grill and al fresco dining on the outdoor table.

The home has three bedrooms: two each have a queen bed, and the third has two twins. There is one full bath with a shower/tub combo, as well as an additional half bath for everyone's convenience. The provided washer/dryer make it easy to keep everyone in fresh, clean socks, and the wireless Internet access lets you stay connected to the office - or just make online dinner reservations!

This family-friendly home also comes equipped with a high chair and a pack-n-play for our youngest guests, and the door leading downstairs can be closed for safety. The enclosed yard is perfect for kids to play, and the home is even pet-friendly with a nightly fee (a maximum of two dogs are allowed).

The home itself is situated near the intersection of two highly desirable neighborhoods: the North End and the burgeoning West End. You'll be just two blocks from a neighborhood park, and only eight blocks to the beautiful Boise Greenbelt for morning jogs or bike rides. Two adult bikes are provided for your use. If you're looking for even more exciting outdoor adventures, Lucky Peak and Bogus Basin are only 18 miles away for skiing and snowboarding.

Whether you come to Boise for work or play, this charming family Downtown Boise vacation home provides the perfect space to relax at the end of each busy day!

This home was fantastic, surprisingly roomy and perfect for our pets. It was well stocked with everything we needed and within close driving distance to both downtown and the foothills. We loved it!

Home has a lot of potential especially When cleaned properly.

The house is spacious and very clean. The kitchen is stocked with the essential appliances and tools. Everything is in good working order. Full size washer and dryer. An abundance of clean towels. Can walk or bike to Esther Simplot and Greenbelt. Living room is comfortable and nicely decorated. Dining table big enough for large family. Backyard is large and attractive. Nice landscaping. Stayed for three weeks and were very happy. Our dog enjoyed the big yard and walks through the pleasant neighborhood. State street is close for all shopping needs.

Well renovated cozy home in N. Boise, very convenient to everything. Two bedrooms up and a spacious third down. Highly recommended!

Nice and clean little white house

We stayed here while visiting family in Boise. Very comfortable and everything we needed with lots of space to entertain. Look forward to renting in the warmer weather when we can use the backyard.

The house has plenty of space, lots of windows for cheery light, and was super comfy and clean. We would stay here again.

We spent the weekend with our 3 boys, ages 7, 11, and 14 for the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic. This property was perfect for us! First off, it was immaculately clean (and I am a bit particular about that stuff, so it says a lot!). There was plenty of room for everyone, a great kitchen for cooking meals, and best of all there was a park just a block away with basketball and tennis courts as well as a play structure. Just a short walk or drive to great coffee shops, grocery stores, and hiking trails, but in a quiet residential area. We all had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the memories Vacasa!

A great alternative to a hotel. Especially if you have 3 or 4 plus in your party. Spacious private back yard. Very quite area. Layout that works well.

The home was nice, but everything in the pictures and description are not there. We thought we had walked into the wrong house. The "dvd library" consisted of 4 movies. We paid for what the pictures online showed and what we walked into was completely different.
The description of this home needs to be updated for future guests.

Manager response:
We are very disappointed to read this review as the home went through vast improvements just prior to this guest's stay. The pictures had not been updated at that time, so the home did look different than pictured, but in a very good way! The mattresses were replaced, the bedding, the entire home carpeting, and the basement flooring. There are new stainless steel appliances throughout the kitchen, and a new washer and dryer. The furniture is new, and there's a new smart TV. For now we have removed the movie library as an amenity as we build up the movie collection. We very much look forward to sharing these improvements with our guests!

Even though this home is older it is nicely maintained. We rented the home in order to have a place for our German Shepherd to lay out in the backyard and stretch her legs. She liked it very much especially getting to know the dog next door. It seemed to be a quiet neighborhood and we locked our van at night while it was left on the street parking There was no problem at all. We brought our own foods and cooked most of our meals in the kitchen, which I really liked. It was very well stocked with dishes and utensils of all kinds. One evening it was colder and there was frost outside the next morning. We used the gas fireplace and it worked great for keeping the upper stairs nice and warm and toasty.

We slept in the upstairs bedroom and it was comfortable. It was a air type bed similar to the Sleep Country mattresses, but it is not a Sleep Country bed. However, it was quite comfortable and we were so tired from visiting and looking around the area we just slept hard each night we were there. Sometimes it is a question about how well the shower works in rentals. This shower was a good one. We used the upstairs bathroom and it worked out good. We are Senior Citizens and we wondered if we could work the TV and DVD recorder. We were able to work it after figuring it out a bit. Even though it wasn't fancy it was doable and we will rent it again if we go back to Boise in the future. Our dog, Joy, will like it too.

Couldn't have asked for a better home for a week of music and fun! Will definitely use this home again in the future.

It was nice to have a nice clean and quiet home to go to after running all day. This is a beautiful property and we would definitely stay again. It was extra special to spend time with my family without intruding on them

Very clean. We really enjoyed our stay here. We will stay here again. Hopefully, in the summer so we can use the backyard.

Nice older home in good proximity to downtown Boise.

The home is in a great location but it not complete and we had to cut our stay short due to ant problem. The property manager was very helpful but could not solve the problem while we were there.
Manager response:
We are very sorry that there were ants during this stay; the home has been sprayed professionally inside and out using products safe for people and pets. There have not been any ant problems since the treatment.

Had a great vacation in Boise - house was perfect for our needs, with a bonus - both bathrooms have a shower. If you stay here you MUST walk to Westside Dinner - featured on the show 'Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives' awesome food and ice cream only a few blocks away and the walk through the neighborhood is nice.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. Madison is a great location and the home is neat and tidy. The backyard was perfect for outdoor dining and just sitting out reading. We would have rented again in May if the owners weren't coming for a visit!!

We loved this home, location, bikes, comfort level, space, etc. I would recommend this home to anyone. The location for us was perfect, close enough to downtown to bike or walk, but far enough away from the city noise.
Kent H. Mar 2015
This was a perfect accommodation for us. It's in a quaint little neighborhood, where we were able to get out for a walk every morning with our dog. There is also a nice park within a couple of blocks which worked out well when our son and family visited. There are decent restaurants within walking distance and downtown is really close. We would choose this property again in a heart beat and probably will again this summer.

We stayed in Boise with our son and daughter in law to shop for Christmas presents and food. The house was very comfortable in the living area and the Internet available was very important to us because of our business dealings. The bedrooms set up was a little disappointing since the 2nd bedroom upstairs has two twin beds which made it less comfortable for the kids. The master bed was a full size which was a little small as well and on all beds the mattresses should be of higher quality to make it a better night sleep. The bedroom in the basement is not at all inviting however very clean, I think that room would be better set up with a queen and a twin for a small family to sleep.
We are in the Real Estate business in McCall, Id and we see a lot of VRBO's and the Rumbalara is a great property and we will rent it again.

We visit family in Boise regularly, and this is the first time we've rented a house instead of staying with relatives or in a hotel. We wanted to have our own space, make our own food, and have a secure dog run. We got everything we were looking for. The house is charming and well-stocked. The little yard has a great table, shade, BBQ, and room for our dogs to safely sniff and run around. There are perennial flowers and raspberries, birds chirping their little heads off, and nice neighbors. Our teen daughters loved the beds and fast wi-fi and sweet bathroom. All very low-key but sweet. And we love the north end location. Would rent again in a heartbeat.

Very enjoyable experience. Felt very homey and clean and thoroughly equipped.
We'll be back!
Manager response:
Thank you for this feedback. We are so glad to hear you enjoyed the home and look forward to seeing you again!

An unsuspecting looking house with updated vintage charm close to downtown and the northend as well as the Boise airport and river! We had such a great getaway!
