Great house and incredible location! Very hospitable!
Pooja V. Oct 2020
It's a great house with great views however keep in mind, it's pretty high on top and roads are pretty steep, we did not expect to be that steep. Great for kids and toddlers as they have some toys for young kids however house needs some upgrades for quite a few things, pots/pans are pretty used and non-stick is peeled off, game room table is broken, door locks are not working properly, AC wasn't working so had to call maintenance, the wing of the fan fell off while kids were playing, the jacuzzi in master bedroom only worked once for a few mins and same for hot tub, it didn't work after using for a while since everyone took turns. It definitely has a very pretty view and great location, the experience would be much better if a few things would be fixed. We enjoyed our stay except a few things!
Manager response:
Hi, Pooja! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay despite some maintenance issues. The pots and pans have been replaced, the jacuzzi tub is scheduled for repair, and all ceiling fan blades have been tightened. The hot tub appears to be working well at this time. Thank you!

The home was very peaceful, clean and the view was unbeatable!

The view was spectacular! This cabin was great for combining three families under one roof for each family had their own level for sleeping arrangements. This cabin was a great home away in the mountains.

Great clean cabin, loved the location. One issue...the garbage container outside had alot of garbage in it and smelled. We didn't have room to put ours in there. Other then that I will highly recommend staying there.

View was terrific. Close to the national park, pigeon forge, and gatlinburg. House was clean, but we still wiped everything with a Clorox wipe because of COVID-19.

We chose this cabin because it listed many amenities that suited our family - 4 adults and 6 kids ages 6mo to 7! There are some toys, and the top deck has a built in gate to prevent little ones from running to the street. (Wish there was gate on the bottom deck). Unfortunately, the amenities did not meet our expectations.

the air hockey table wasn’t functional. The Wii has no games - just a game case. We found the the one game the night we were packing up and going through the toys to make sure we had all of ours. The wii controller had no batteries and there was only 1 - for a cabin that sleeps 12, we expected at least 2 working controllers. Since there was no apparent organization to the toys, I’m confident they were not cleaned and sanitized prior to our arrival.

The hot tub was fine, but small for this size cabin. The deck furniture by the hot tub is in horrible condition The side tables were broken and two of the chairs had no seats. We were very disappointed with this, especially since the upper deck furniture was very nice! The furniture in the cabin was overall fine, but getting worn. And there were several chairs/rockers that were broken.

Overall, location, view, and size are the winning features.

Great views. Great house. Excellent space.

This cabin was great for our group of 8 adults, there’s plenty of room for a large group to be comfortable. We really enjoyed the outside decks with the views. I will say there were a few things wrong when we arrived such as a few broken chairs and a broken pool stick, but not a big deal
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback, Chase. We are so happy this cabin worked so well for your group. We apologize for the broken chairs and pool stick. We have passed your comments along to our local manager who will remove or replace the broken items. We hope we can host you again!

Nice house with amazing patio and view. Overall, we are happy with our stay. I would further recommend it.
Pros: The ground and the upper levels of the house were in a good condition, however my friends complained about the condition and the cleanliness of the basement level. Lot of available appliances and utensils. Large dining table. Plenty of available bath towels. Internet signal was ok.
Cons: The water in the jacuzzi tub looked disgusting, greenish- yellowish in color. Not sure how often it is being changed, but I personally didnt dare to get in. For the 5 days, we booked, we were provided with 5 dischwasher pills and 3 laundry detergent pods. This is not enough for a house fitting 12 people. Garbage space was not enough.
Good to know: Driving up was fine in the summer, however I wouldn't dare to rent the house during the winter season, especially if snowing.
Manager response:
Hi, Iskra! Thank you for telling us about your time here. The entire home has received a very thorough cleaning, especially the basement, and we do apologize for any oversights you encountered in that regard. The hot tub has been serviced, cleaned, and refilled; we would have been happy to do this during your stay had you called to let us know you needed it. Please do not hesitate to reach out for assistance in being fully satisfied with your rental experience. We hope to see you again!

You will love how kid friendly this cabin is. The owners have gone to great lengths to provide all the things you need to make a home safe for toddlers and children. They even have baby gates in the closet and pack and play. The basement is ideal because it has toys for all ages. The main level has a gated porch so little ones can walk around and parents can relax knowing they are safe. This cabin is nice. The beds are so comfortable and the living areas have plenty of room. We loved our time here. You should choose this for your family vacation!

We loved the location on top of the mountain. The cabin was clean, beds were comfortable, and we loved that the kids could hang out in the lower level. Perfect Thanksgiving weekend!
Evelyn L. Aug 2019
Cabin was beautiful with tons of space. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
Sally H. Jul 2019
There were 10 of us, including 5 children, room for all. Great family vacation.
Corinne K. Jun 2019
We loved our stay at the cabin. The view was spectacular. The cabin was welcoming and a great place to hang with family and friends. We could see the mountains for miles. The drive up was a little unexpected but worth it. Happily we didn't see any bears, just a raccoon, two rabbits, a chicken and three turkeys. A cabin in the mountains makes for a relaxing vacation.
Terri L. May 2019
We had a wonderful time staying at Fox Hollow Cabin! The 3 bedroom cabin is spacious, with privacy for everyone! We would love to visit it again!
Nathan G. Apr 2019
The mountain top neighborhood location was quiet with a beautiful view and convenient drive to the Smokeys, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. The cabin, while not perfect (old windows difficult to open missing screens, some DIY carpentry and flooring, and dated and aging furniture and appliances etc.) was spacious and functional with a comfortable cabin character appeal. For the price I would say the cabin was a decent value and we would stay here again.
Richard V. Jan 2019
This was my first time in Tennessee with my family and some friends. I can tell you that everything was so clean and plenty of room for the whole family. The mattresses slept very well, plenty of kitchen supplies for staying in and cooking, the views were breath taking. We will definitely be coming back soon!!!

Michael B. Aug 2018
Great outdoor spaces, flexible layout inside. Large kitchen/dining area with room for all guests.
Kimberly O. Jul 2018
Love that each room had a private bath and how spacious they were. We had 12 in our group and there was plenty of dishes to go around. Love the fact it had a game room, something for the kiddos to do.
Sherry B. Apr 2018
The view was amazing
Ezequias Rizzon Z. Jan 2018
Clean house with a wonderful view.
Beth W. Nov 2017
This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family's long weekend getaway. The views were gorgeous, the distance between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was perfect and the cabin was beautiful! What more could you want?

An added bonus is to those with little ones. The cabin had a play kitchen and play tool bench that kept my young girls very entertained.

We will definitely stay here again.
Ann P. Oct 2017
We truly loved our stay. The cabin had all we needed as far as pots, pans. All was very clean. We loved playing pool and the hot tub was wonderful. I have only good things to say about this cabin.

Absolutely loved the location of this beautiful cabin. Perfect for friends and family.
Piotr C. Aug 2017
We had a great two days stay at the cabin, kids had a blast in the woods hiking, in fact we all did.

Cabin is very nice, spacious, clean, everything works perfect, I'd definitely stay again.
Danny B. S. Jul 2017
Great cabin, amazing views, and very quiet and relaxing
Beth G. Jul 2017
Really enjoyed our week in this cabin. The view was amazing and the cabin was perfect. My only concern was the drive up the mountain to this cabin. That one "Hairpin curve" was a doozie! Prayed all week that it would not rain - don't know if we would have made it up that turn!! Thank God it did not rain.
Patricia L. Jul 2017
The cabin was very nice and the view of the mountains was spectacular. The kitchen could have been better supplied for a party of 12. The hairpin curve was scary to get to the cabin.
Tamela W. Jun 2017
We loved the house. It was clean and roomy. The paved road was very curvy with at least one hair pin curve. When raining, it was very scary to go up because our tires would spin on our Yukon XL. The road is what would keep me from staying here.
Kathleen B. Jun 2017
This cabin is high up (with the angels and St. Peter) making the view GREAT. The beds were good and we had everything we needed. The water pressure was very good. We used the grill which we found clean and of good quality. We had a total of 3 families and all of them said it was the best one we had rented in the last 3 years. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin.
Dana H. May 2017
Your cabin is very nice and the location is beautiful. You have provided everything one would need for a relaxing trip. Thank you so very much for letting us stay in your cabin
Angela M. May 2017
The air hockey table was in such bad condition that it was unplayable. The faucet in the upstairs bathtub was so loose I thought it was going to fall out of the wall. The cover for the hot tub buttons was missing so you just have to randomly push the buttons to figure out want each of them are for. Plus the hot tub is way too small for a cabin this size! They had just replaced part of the outside stairs leading to the downstairs deck but hadn't gotten around to staining them or putting grip tabs on them and unfortunately for us it was raining when we arrived and a guest in my party fell down the unfinished steps severally bruising his arm! The cabin is very roomy and the view is nice.
Manager response:
The air hockey table was repaired and usable the morning after these guests reported it as not working; they never reported the faucet not working, but it has since been addressed. The steps are brand new and cannot be stained or have grips applied until after the wood has cured out. We did explain this to the guest, and we also asked if the guest needed to be checked by a doctor, but the guest declined. We are sorry to see this guest experienced some disappointments during their stay.

Over the last 20 years I have vacationed in Gatlinburg at least 6 times. This was by far the nicest cabin I have visited. With 3 separate master bedroom on 3 different levels each couple in our group had there own space. The view is great as well.
Nicole B. Apr 2017
This was an amazing place to stay. 3 families with children comfortably!! Great toys and basement for kids to play in. All bedrooms spaced out so lots of privacy. Awesome all around !!!!!
Stephanie S. Apr 2017
We recently fly stayed in this home for 6 nights. The pictures are accurate, this house is gorgeous with all of the amenities needed. The beds were all comfortable and the views were stunning
