Peaceful mountain cabin with stunning views, perfect for a quiet getaway!
You and your loved ones can leave all your worries behind thanks to this peaceful cabin in Washington's stunning North Central Cascades! A true sense of remoteness, along with plenty of natural beauty to enjoy, lets you unplug and relax.
This home for seven is five miles from the nearest town, South Cle Elum. It's easy enough to stop by for a meal at Smokey's Bar-B-Que (though four-wheel drive and snow chains may be required during the wintertime), but with nothing other than pine trees and distant mountains surrounding the home, you'll feel serene and secluded.
Shake off the snow from a long day on the slopes and head inside. Wood walls and ceiling beams, along with the crackle of the fireplace and touches like an authentic bear skin on the wall, create a rustic atmosphere that's truly unique to authentic mountain cabins. There's no internet to distract you with stressful work emails, so take a seat with your family and friends on the living room's leather couches and take in some DVDs and VHS tapes on the flatscreen TV.
Contrasting with the overall rustic theme of the home is the kitchen, where stainless steel appliances and a gas range are decidedly modern. The breakfast bar for three is a great place to snack on some appetizers, before heading to the bench-style table near the door for the main course. You can enjoy your food near more cabin memorabilia like a pair of crossed skis and a wood-carved coat rack, or head outside and dine under starlight by the outdoor fire. Wherever you eat, the dishwasher makes cleaning up quick and easy.
Three bedrooms allow seven guests to stay in this home, with a maximum of six adults. Head upstairs to find the master bedroom, featuring a king-size bed and another bedroom with a queen bed. The final bedroom has a twin-over-double bunk bed, perfect for kids. Each of the home's two bathrooms let everyone get nice and refreshed in the mornings, whether it's for playing a game of pool or heading out to explore!
South Cle Elum - and, just across the river, Cle Elum proper - is a fine place to pass the time, with small shops and restaurants waiting for you to visit. As peaceful as relaxing by the Yakima River can be, don't get so lost in the gentle flow that you neglect the surrounding natural beauty. Skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, and more await at Snoqualmie Pass 29 miles to the north, with hiking trails available in the summertime.
Save your dates today and take the first step towards an unforgettable vacation at this Cle Elum cabin!

I stayed here in the peak of the big 2019 snow storm.
Super cozy, warm and spacious enough for several friends to be cooped up with and still not get on each other's nerves.
I didn't see this 'vast VHS collection' (or even a VCR), which might be old info in the cabin's description of amenities, but both TV's are HDMI ready and had no trouble getting gaming systems hooked up and working.
The power lines some other guest whined about are awesome!
During the snow at night, you can see them arc out on the snowflakes (if you get close). And during the day, it just sounds like a running river to me.
Fire pit was stocked, there was plenty of hooks for winter clothes to dry out on. I found the place in 2 feet of snow no problem, parking was not an issue. My friends all agreed that this place would be put on our "short list" of vacation options to return to.
Home was beautiful, cozy and tucked away. Nice comfortable beds, clean linens and spacious for 3 people. We enjoyed our stay here and will be coming back.
Wood receive 5 star but power line noise.
The house was perfect for four adults. Fully stocked kitchen. In a great location not far from town but far enough to feel nice and some what secluded. Quiet neighborhood. Fresh snow every day.
I took off a star because it was not cleaned up very well definitely in hurry. Garbage's were full so we had to stack our garbage in the laundry room which is also your way to head out but we figured that out. The floors had not been cleaned up and someone was obviously just been there for Christmas as we found quite a few chunks of tinsel/garland and dirty tissues sticking out from under the couch. So upon arrival we swept out the house. Bathroom rugs were not fresh either after realizing the house was not swept I decided to shake out the rugs in the tub to see and they were dirty used mats. This doesn't change how great the home was or how great the people at Vacasa are.
Clean cabin with nice amenities, and close proximity to both Roslyn and Cle Elum. Early check-in and late check-out were a fantastic benefit through Vacasa.
Overall was a great trip. Just had some mishaps with 7 bags of garbage left on the deck, along with both garbage cans being full. Called the 24 hour number for Vacasa and was on hold for over 30 minutes... I just hung up and cLled the next morning. Called in the morning and was told they would co.e pick it up and credited me $50. Trash was not picked up till after 4pm.
Also the check out check list stated that we were to wash all bedding, mop floors and clean toilets. So when I talked to the gal about the garbage she said now to worry and that is what our cleaning fee was for....
As a small family the house provided all of our needs. We had good parking and all the amenities we needed.
Spacious house with fully equipped kitchen convenient to Cle Elum.
Loved the location and the cabin is super cozy!
Really great views, was quite get away
Vacasa worked very well with us. The deer and elk grazing near us every morning was an unexpected thrill. Very close to the Brick restaurant to make it worth the drive.
This cabin was perfect for us! A ways out of town but it was worth it! We will be booking again. The cabin was stocked with all cooking necessities and everything worked like a charm:) Things to be aware of, (didn't bother us too much) You are right next to the BIG/MAIN power lines. So if you are comfortable with that, then book!
AND a piece of advice to the owners.... Everything was clean in the cabin except the dishes :( I am sure the company that cleaned the house thought the dishes in the dishwasher were clean and put them away before the next guests arrived. Not too much of a big deal, we put them into the dish washer and ran them through. Other then that we enjoyed the cabin very much! Thanks!!!
Comfortable. Nice location.
A very relaxing time spent with family. The house was well stocked and very clean. Highly recommend
We really enjoyed our stay here. This was a perfect size for our 2 families each with a 1 year old. The location was great and we hope to be back again!
Great location for winter fun. Nice clean and cozy house with almost everything that you would need for your stay. Would love to check it out in summer.
We don’t understand why they only allow 2 cars 2 car when clearly there’s enough parking for 10 car that was an inconvenience for us because it was 7 of us and we didn’t drove together in one car or two we have small cars and wouldn’t be able to fit all together
The stove oven was ok the microwave was dirty we had to clean it so we can warm up some in there!
Dont get me wrong the cabin iss beautiful inside out just little details
about the furniture in the living room for some reason we think they are too old and sofas have been painted because to of my friends sat down and there was paint all over the pants we tried washing the clothes but the paint didn’t came off so we had to use blankets to put on the sofas so we can sit and not get out clothes with the paint.
Like i said the cabin is beautiful inside out there’s just littke things that caught our attention and for the price not to cheap not to expensive but could get those things improved
Bear Crossing was a fine cabin, but total lack of empathy with what people would like access to on the first weekend of college and NFL football, is astounding. Even over-the-air TV would have provided a tremendously more enjoyable time here and would have cost the owners nothing after the price of rabbit ears.
This was a great cabin to stay in! The layout of the home was fabulous, with comfortable and visually pleasing decor. We loved the great room, kitchen, and the master bedroom/bath especially. Our teenagers loved that there was a case full of DVD's to choose from, and we appreciated the board games, cards, and game table. There were even laser tag guns and a basket of dress up clothes for little people! There is a comfortable deck and sitting area outside, and the big vaulted ceiling with huge windows is gorgeous. We would recommend this home to any of our friends!
Overall, a great experience. Just a hiccup or two is all--particularly with the extremely hot water issue. I'll rate this house a 5 despite that because no one may have been aware before now.
Nice and quiet. Very peaceful. A very nice getaway spot. Great master suite.
We loved this cabin and property. Everything was furnished perfectly, loved the upstairs master bedroom and bath. We also enjoyed the fire pit outside. It was furnished better than any rental property we've ever stayed at.
This cabin is soo nice, it has three, nicely decorated bedrooms, with nice furniture. It was super clean. Felt like I was at a hotel but in a cabin...
Also, they have a very nice almost new bbq which we LOVED!
The fire pit is also very nice, they even include wood so you don't have to bring your own.
I loved everything about this cabin and the neighbors that live there were super nice too!
