Cozy Tybee cottage in quiet neighborhood, walking distance to beach!

Discover the quaint coastal charm of Tybee Island from this three-bedroom cottage, a vintage home welcoming up to six guests with a screened-in porch, a shaded backyard, free WiFi, and a great location with easy walking access to all of the island's best attractions.

Walk just a half-mile to North Beach and, on your way, sightsee at historic Fort Screven or the Tybee Island Light Station and Museum. But you'll also be just two miles north of shops and eateries along Tybrisa Street. If you have a larger group, consider renting both this house and the back cottage, Tybee Island Sunset, which has one bedroom, one full bathroom, and space for as many as two people.

Built in 1900, this beautifully preserved home is full of coastal colors, folksy furnishings, and artistic decor. Walk up a few stairs and through a front porch to view its single floor layout with a spacious living area, a full kitchen, three bedrooms, and a back porch. Spend some time in the gentle breeze from the overhead fan in the living area, or flip on the 60-inch flatscreen TV for DVD and cable entertainment.

Peer out over the neighborhood from a sofa and Adirondack chairs on the front porch, or head out back to sip sweet tea in the shade of Live Oak trees. You'll certainly love the backyard options, which include two tables for al fresco dining (one even with an umbrella), plus tropical landscaping and a screened-in porch attached to the house that overlooks it all.

Feeling hungry? Whip up a homemade meal back inside in the well-equipped kitchen. It features all that you'll need for whipping up fresh feasts while you're here, and there's even group seating at tables by the kitchen, on the back porch, and in the backyard.

Afterward, toss your dishes in the dishwasher, your clothes in the washer/dryer, and head to bed. Up to six guests are accommodated on queen beds in two bedrooms and twin beds in a third bedroom. Additional bedroom amenities include ceiling fans, reading lamps, and large picture windows with privacy curtains.

Whether you're looking for fun in town or relaxation on the beach, you'll find it all on Tybee Island. Reserve your spot on a fishing charter, or schedule surfing lessons on the beach. You could also explore the marshlands of the Wassaw National Wildlife Refuge by kayak, or head into Savannah (17 miles west) to sample the city scene.

It's a unique and attractive little cottage and had everything we needed for a lovely visit--a pleasant porch for entertaining, a dining spot on the back porch, a beautiful live oak full of birds to watch. We loved it.

House was perfect. It smelled good when we first walked in, everything was very clean, and it looked just like the pictures. The shower was nice. Such a cute home for such a great deal! The beach and the lighthouse was about a 12 minute walk away. There was a gas station about a 2 minute walk away. There were tons of restaurants that were within a 5 minute driving distance. We would stay here again and again!!

The charm of Tybee Island comes alive in this quant beautiful cottage. Step back in time with the heartpine floors & tongue & grove walls & ceilings. Even the bathroom offers surprises with its "Where's Waldo Appeal". You will not be disappointed with this Island Sunrise. We will visit Tybee Island again & again to stay in what we felt was our home away from home.

Quaint, 1920’s cottage. Close walk to beach and local restaurants. Was a fantastic place to relax and spend time with a friend!

We visited this gorgeous Tybee Island holiday home as a family with our 2 children aged 1 and 7. From the minute we parked up we knew it was somewhere special. The location is ideal for complete relaxation surrounded by beautiful greenery and wildlife. The house itself is stunning. It is so quaint and quirky, we all absolutely loved it. There is lots of space inside with really comfortable beds. The bathroom is superb with its unique memory wall - every time we went in the bathroom we spotted something new on the wall! The kitchen had everything you needed including microwave, superb cooking utensils and pans etc. Loved the lounge, my husband was so pleased to be able to catch an English game of football on the TV. It was so clean and functional. Couldn't complain at all.

The only thing we struggled with was that it had no cot and no highchair for our baby. But, there's a Walmart 15 minutes away so we picked up a travel cot to use during our stay. Vacasa did mention you can rent a cot and highchair locally but it was cheaper to buy a new one and bring it back with us.

We would highly recommend this beautiful villa, without hesitation, and I am a person with high expectations and I want a lot for my money. This was a lovely place on a lovely island which now has a special place in our hearts. Thank you.

This is a cute rental within walking distance to North Beach, the lighthouse, North Beach Bar and Grille, local craft shops, Gerald’s Pig and Shrimp and 80 E Gastropub! Had a great time at the family friendly North Beach swimming and finding sea shells! We went on Captain Mike’s dolphin tour and saw several dolphins! We also enjoyed Coco’s and a day trip to beautiful Savannah! My only complaint is we got stuck in long traffic lines on a Saturday trying to to find parking near South Beach and eventually gave up our search and went back to North Beach after 30 minutes of trying. We went back to South beach during the following Monday and parking was no issue.

Visited Tybee Island and Savannah on a scouting mission looking for places to rent as we are moving to the Savannah area in April. This house was perfect! Nothing too fancy, just a great little beach bungalow perfect for a small family. Short walk to the beach and lighthouse! Would definitely stay here again!

This was an excellent place for our family of 5. Our 3 children (ages 10,6 and 1) had a wonderful time. There was plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook breakfast and lunch. The house has clean and beds were comfortable. The beach and lighthouse is an easy 10-15 minute walk. We will definitely be back again.

Delightfully peaceful stay in your cottage. Quite, safe neighborhood, close enough to beach and lighthouse for a scenic walk. Convenient to restaurants and easy walk to a grocery for forgotten food items for stay in meals!

It was exactly how we envisioned a quaint old beach vacation home. Much more room than a hotel and similar in price.

Our family had a great stay in tybee island. It was our first trip and we plan to come back again. The house was just close enough to the beach and just far from the hustle at the other end of the island to give is the quiet, before school vacation we were looking for.
