Tucked in the woods with sight of the ocean. So restful and pleasant!
We were beyond pleased with Tree-to-Sea. Living room was so comfy and had plenty of seating so we were all able to hang out together and enjoy reading, games, puzzles and of course napping. Kitchen had everything we needed plus more that made it easy (spices, coffee supplies, etc).
Location was great - close to everywhere we wanted to go.
Nice “forest” location, no real ocean view but that was ok because it was rainy so we hunkered down indoors most of the weekend anyway, quality family tome away from the city and noise!
Everything was clean and well kept - thanks for a great get away :-)
The house was wonderful inside but the location is not great, especially with the steep short driveway and no room to park. But we chose the place because it was one of the few on the south east end of Sea Ranch that could accommodate 8 guests comfortably. Our home is off of Crows Nest and we needed the rental for overflow guests.

This home is wonderful! We are a family of 5 and each one of us has things that are important to us, but that we rarely each get when we go on vacation. This house incredibly fit all of our needs/wants.
It is large and has an open floor plan, it is very private and surrounded by trees. It has a view of the ocean, it is walking distance to beautiful trails through the redwoods, walk/drive to beach, and it is very clean and beautifully decorated.
When we picked up our packet, Vacasa was super helpful and kind. They gave us tips on things to do and what to see in the area.
We couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely come back here to stay. Thanks Vacasa!
We really enjoyed staying here. We have been coming to Sea Ranch for many years . This year we really enjoyed the place we stayed....probably the best ever. The difference was primarily in the quality of "stuff"....the mattresses were fantastic...the kitchen very well equipped, not just old leftover camping quality pots and pans but decent quality. Oh yea, loved the bed pillows...turned out to be Ralph Lauren....everything seemed a little cleaner than other stays at Sea Ranch.
Nice home but close to the road so could hear the cars passing by should be posted to give prior notice
Wonderful place to stay if your plan is to chill out and cook a whole lot of food!
This home has a great feel to it. Very clean and comfortable. Great kitchen with everything you need and overall felt like home. Highly recommended!
Used the main deck quite a bit for get togethers and sunsets.
Very open kitchen, well equipped and stocked with basics, such as condiments.
Gift bag upon arrival was a welcome idea.
Great, near single-level floor plan for couple.
Good (new) laundry facilities.
Very comfy beds.
Would rent here again in a heartbeat.
We recently stayed at this home with our four small children. Overall, we had a good visit and it provided more than enough space for our family. The home was fairly clean and we loved the modern feel. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies (you might want to bring your own dish rags as they provided dish soap, towels, and a kitchen sponge). The bathrooms were both large and very clean. Despite all the wonderful benefits, there were a few things that I felt would have made this home better.
First, the front door is not secure. The front door is two glass french doors. If you pull up on the handle of the south door when the doors are locked, the door comes unlocked from the floor/ceiling (not at the center) and if you push it bows in significantly. It wouldn't take much force for someone to push a bit harder and break in.
Also, the front door can only be locked/unlocked from the outside. This causes problems when trying to leave or lock up for the night as you have to go outside to lock the door and then come in through the garage. This also is a safety hazard as it would be impossible to unlock the front door from the inside if there was an emergency and you needed to exit quickly.
I also noticed that the downstairs bedrooms each have a glass door but do not have treatments such as blinds or curtains for privacy. Additionally, these two bedrooms were in the basement and on a different floor from the master which is not ideal for a family with small children (we didn't like being so far from them at night if they needed us).
Also, the heater was not working while we were there. We had turned it on because it was cold in the morning, and the temperature remained at 63 degrees. We called the property management company and they were very responsive. They sent a maintenance person out, but he was not able to fix it during our stay as he thought he needed a replacement part. The property management company was kind enough to bring over a few space heaters to keep us warm at night/morning and otherwise it wasn't much of a problem since temperatures were nice during the day.
Overall, the home was clean, but there were many spiders and bugs (both dead an alive) around the perimeter of the rooms. There were also a few stray ants wandering in the master bathroom. I realize that most of the homes in Sear Ranch are surrounded by nature, but the amount of bugs in the home could be better treated with pest control.
Also, the blinds in the home needed severe cleaning. Most were just dusty, which is understandable, but the blinds in the master were dusty and had black dirt (maybe mold) on them.
Overall , this is a good home that could be great with a few changes and a little more care.
This house is perfect for getting away for the weekend and just relaxing. Outdoor, enclosed deck from the master bedroom, and main house, and an outdoor dining table and grill. The master bath also has a deep jet tub, and I think an instant hot water heater to quickly fill the tub. Also a nice, spacious kitchen.
House is clean and has a great open floor plan.
With windows open the traffic noise is pretty consistent. The road is close and it is a busy road with traffic. Bought a fan so at night we closed the windows and that helped. Enjoyed our stay it was relaxing and great weather the coast is beautiful
You get what you pay for here. You get privacy, limited ocean views, the sounds of the ocean and access to the ocean in a wonderful, modern, well equipped and well furnished property. This is a place that makes you feel like the owners would stay here instead of, a place where a group of people got together for a rental to earn extra income. This is a great property. Plenty of parking, plenty of room. Lots of windows with wonderful warm natural lighting set in a wooded area off of the main highway. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be going back.
We loved our stay at Tree-to-sea Haven in Sea Ranch and would absolutely stay again. The house is unassuming on the outside but modern, clean, and quite stunning on the inside. We loved spending low-key time in the large living area and kitchen, enjoying the view of the woods and ocean. Our dog especially enjoyed lounging on the deck and fluffy dog bed. All of the nearby trails are beautiful and easily accessible.
Too remote of a community for what we were looking for with our teenage children.
If u are OK with shutting down at 7 and you enjoy watching your kids shows or vice versa my family don't work with 1 TV, no game room ect. And nothing to do after 7. seemed like we have more to do at home. The beaches are amazing though.
This is a great, comfy, clean home. Very cozy and spacious. You won't see a whole lot of ocean view because the trees block the view but the home is itself is great. Nice that it's right off of Highway 1. Would stay here again!!!
