If you're exploring on foot, you'll find Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, Ripley's Believe It or Not!, the Hollywood Star Cars Museum, the Gatlinburg Space Needle, the Village Shoppes, the Gatlinburg Convention Center, and many other attractions within an easy stroll. The serene expanse of Great Smoky Mountains National Park begins one mile south, allowing you to hike the Appalachian Trail or glimpse wildlife in Cades Cove with ease. Pigeon Forge is eight miles north, and is home to Dollywood, WonderWorks, excellent shopping, and an assortment of wonderful dinner theaters. If you're planning a special event or celebration, the town's premier fine-dining establishment, the Greenbrier, is only two miles away.
