Bring your group together at A Home Away, a four-bedroom, four-bath lakefront home on Lake Anna's public 'cool' side in Orange, Virginia. With room for up to 12 guests, three bedrooms on the main level and a fourth downstairs, the layout gives your group separate places to gather, unwind and settle in for the night.

LAKE DAYS, YOUR WAY

Make time for the beach and dock, or take the provided kayaks and canoes out on the lake. The waterfront grounds give you a place to enjoy the setting between outings. Guests bringing a boat also have access to a community launch. Return to the furnished deck to relax while dinner cooks on the gas grill.

COOK AND GATHER ON THE MAIN LEVEL

The main-level kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher, along with a coffee maker, toaster and blender. Gather at the breakfast bar or the dining table with six chairs, then move into the living area to catch up after a day outside. French doors connect this shared space to the deck, keeping indoor meals and outdoor evenings close together.

A SECOND PLACE TO SPREAD OUT

Downstairs, the second living area offers a large sectional and space for a different pace: a movie, a board game or a quiet break from the main-level gathering. A kitchenette and table for four make it easy to serve snacks or enjoy a casual meal without returning upstairs.

FOUR BEDROOMS ACROSS TWO LEVELS

On the main level, the primary bedroom has a king bed and an attached bathroom. A second bedroom has a queen bed and its own attached bathroom, while the third bedroom has two bunk beds. The fourth bedroom is on the lower level and has two queen beds. The home accommodates a maximum of 12 guests.

FOUR BATHROOMS

In addition to the bathrooms attached to the primary and second bedrooms, there is a hall bathroom on the main level and another bathroom downstairs. This places a bathroom on each living level and gives guests options beyond the two ensuite bathrooms.

EVERYDAY CONVENIENCES

Wi-Fi, an in-home washer and dryer, and free parking help keep the practical side of your stay straightforward. Plan your room assignments with the two-level layout in mind: the fourth bedroom, second living area, kitchenette and fourth bathroom are on the lower level.

EXPLORE LAKE ANNA

While you will likely be spending a lot of your time on and in the lake, this home is also just 12 miles from Lake Anna State Park, which offers hiking trails, a fishing pond, and a sand beach. The house is also located close to the mouth of the North Anna River, which flows into Lake Anna. The River is accessible by kayak, should you wish to go 'river' kayaking! For great views and delicious, lakeside dining, check out Tim's at Lake Anna Restaurant & Crabhouse, only four-and-a-half miles from your door, where you'll also find the Boardwalk at Lake Anna, for additional dining options, mini-golf, and arcade games.

This home is located on the public 'cool' side of the lake. There is a community launch that guests with boats can access.

Firewood is not provided; guests will have to bring their own.

All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
