This is an incredibly special pocket of coastal Maine, ripe for exploring tranquil Deer Isle (the bridge is five miles west), the surrounding Blue Hill Peninsula, and Acadia National Park (39 miles east).
The farmhouse itself dates back to 1830 and retains much of its original charm. But it's also been thoughtfully updated with modern comforts, from a smart TV in the family room to stainless steel appliances (including a French-door fridge and a gas stove) in the kitchen.
