Recent Maine Coast vacation rental reviews

This residence is lovely, well equipped and provides easy access to the Wiscasset area in Maine. Nights are quiet and the view from the windows was a wonderful way to start and end the day.

The view is stunning, I think we spent most of the week just sitting on the deck. We loved watching the stars as we drifted to sleep and waking up to the sunrise. We live in a rather noisy area so we really appreciated how quiet and private it was up there. The kitchen is basic but has the essentials. There’s a good amount of stuff in the area and easy to get around. Our favorite spots in the area were the bayside store for snacks and sandwiches and the northport golf club.

The cottage offers a lot of quiet and privacy, but is still a short walk into downtown Boothbay Harbor.

What is coastal Maine known for?

Coastal Maine is famous for its picturesque and rocky coastline, one of the United States' most unique and captivating shorelines. Maine's coast is also known for its friendly harbor towns, and affinity for seafood—including the state’s renowned lobster rolls and annual Lobster Festival held in Rockland.
