This adorable home away from home is located on what many say is the prettiest street in Wiscasset, one block of historic buildings from Castle Tucker at one end to the town green and the Wiscasset Public Library at the other. Just a short walk down the hill will take you to a delightful assortment of boutique shops, art galleries, antiques, a wine bar, and Treats, with its tempting baked goods, sandwiches, cheese, and wine. Must-visit attractions within walking distance include Castle Tucker, the Nickels-Sortwell House, the Maine Art Gallery, housed in the historic old schoolhouse, and the Lincoln County Historical Society’s Museum and Old Jail. Walk around town to enjoy the Museum in the Streets.
